The only issue I had was that the gas was listed as 1/4 tank when it was actually halfway between 1/4 and 1/8. I didn't have time to go back in a wait in line so I had to accept the 1/4 reading and make sure I brought I back at that level. I'm sure if I brought it back between 1/4 and 1/8, I would have been charged.

Staff was unhelpful and largely absent. I had to search for help outside after being handed off by thee sole inside staff person. I ended up unhitching the trailer myself. The check in process was lengthy and super annoying. Oh, and the place was a mess in the garage bays and equipment area. A box truck was running in the lot with the door open and no one around it for the entire half hour I was there. Also the entrance to the lot was flanked by men sitting on the road/curb.

Brody, the manager, was very accommodating to us, along with his associate who finalized our rental agreement. Our original request of a 6X12 trailer wasn't available but your Team recommended a van with virtually the same space to fit our needs. We rent from this UHaul location every year and have always been pleased with your Team at this location.

You gave me a truck where it was like gas was leaking out I put over $200 worth of gas in the truck then you charged me $587 I have the recent where the man made a mistake on billing and he told me to bring it back and they would fix it I went back the girl didn't even want to see it I'm fighting charges.

The charge for mileage is in small print and we're not the only ones that didn't see it in the sign. It was hugely upsetting. And will result in us not coming back. The gas tank was only 1/2 full so refilling ended up costing us money because we had to guess how much and we were short by 3 gallons and had to pay extra. This is a rigged setup because if the tank started full we could have returned it full without guessing how much to put in. My husband who was driving said the truck felt like it was going to fall apart. We had a 29'. He didn't feel the staff was helpful there was no guidance whatsoever.

UH tried to charge me for nine gallons of gas even though I brought the truck back with twice as much gas as when I left. UH should know exactly how much gas is in the truck when I rented the truck 1) I took a picture of gas gauge upon departure and uploaded it to the website as requested and 2) UH logged the return amount of gas during the check in of the prior lessee. Also, I had to fill all four tires with air, with two being critically low where it was providing non-stop warnings in the the instrument panel. One could hardly see the mileage in instrument panel due to the almost nonstop tire warnings. This is a vehicle safety issue where UH puts me, passengers, the vehicle, and other motorists at risk due to critically low tire pressure. Finally, the actual cost of renting the truck from the website is not transparent. Not sure how you advertise for 19,99 a day when actual costs are far greater.

My experience with U-haul this past Saturday afternoon (9/10/2022) in Concord, CA was just great--such an unexpectedly experience I had to note it. Late Friday I had been calling local U-Haul listings and couldn't reserve a truck at such a last minute. But somehow a Jodie in U-Haul coordination for the US (?) gave me a reservation for this near-by location, Monument Blvd. Concord, Ca, even though it was late afternoon!the next day. I arrived 20 minutes early for the reservation. The line and waiting was a bit long, but by the time each person was served, each person was pleased and all moved along well. Front desk person Kathleen was helping us and was just great! She explained everything perfectly clearly and made sure I had the proper info and what I needed and the contract...everyone working in the location worked together to make everything run smoothly. It was so simple not only to reserve and pick up the U-Haul at this location, it was also so easy to drop it off and turn it in. And for entire afternoon, it was less than $50! It was such a good customer service -- the best in months of pretty tough customer services in all industries these days--that I took the manager's card to give him a call and let him know. What a surprise when her picked up the call on a Saturday evening himself!! We talked about the experience --how I thought he must be the key to the location's service running so well (again, it was the 5th location number I's tried)-- and his long-time service with U-Haul. I just want to say thanks so much for such a positive experience (that I had been dreading) ! Thank you Jodi, Kathleen and Manager Mr. Brodee Loggins!

The front desk person was amazing and so helpful! I would say the only thing that could be improved is to have someone at the entrance directing people coming in and out of the location. It was super chaotic and people didn't know what they were doing!

It was Saturday morning and there was only one office staff working. So many customers had to wait on line for a long time. I had to wait for almost one hour to get the truck that I made a reservation for.

None of the extras I ordered were in the rental upon arrival, took awhile for the team to tell me they didn't have any dollies - worked out okay, but definitely a bummer.

Customer service at this location is not great. It is very to the point and stops before offering more help if needed. Example: when returning the truck no one is available even though the sign says wait. When I went into the office, I was told very curtly - you can just leave. Another example: when picking up the truck, the store employee in the lot didn't seem to care about anything when I asked questions for help.

I was charged for gas when I should not have. Also the parking lot was full and I was told to park across the street. Not the worst, but would have been nice to park at uhaul.

I booked from the website but the office denied my reservation. They wanted to purturb my moving schedule that ultimately aproved after showing the printed reservation. Anyway, we have to take another reservation and paid again with new rate. However, I have not received my first payment yet.

Brodee and his crew are wonderful! I always have a good experience when Kathleen is helping at the desk. My issue is with the app. The past few times, (I'm a stager so I regularly rent trucks) the app hasn't been working so I need to check in at the desk. Please address this ASAP, I miss having the convenience of a speedy check in

They did not have the vehicle I reserved two weeks in advance. The mirrors were cracked. The windshield was so dirty I had to stop on the way home to be able to see.

It took 2 hours to pick up my rental truck. The representative took forever trying to give me keys for my reservation. Horrid service and time management. This was also after they accidentally cancelled my reservation and blamed me for cancelling. Never using U-Haul ever again.

Retrain both Ashley and Kathleen. Ashley is VERY unprofessional and rude. Kathleen was unconcerned and lacked appropriate customer service skills as well. There's not enough space for me to recap the bad experience. This location was TERRIBLE and had no respect for people's time but expect customers to respect their time. I will NEVER use this location again and DEFINITELY will not recommend this location as long as those 2 are there. Someone advised me not to use them but I try to give people a chance and that was the last one this UHaul location will receive from me. They must have the owner fooled because no savvy business owner would allow this type of chaos unless in agreement or advocates such detestable behavior.

The two people that assisted us, Kathleen? And D? were very helpful and sympathetic to my frustration at the ridiculous problem created by the corporate website. We did everything correct to reserve a van for an off hour early self pickup, but when we arrived at 5:30am the uhaul website said we would have to wait until 7am when staff arrived. The delay was maddening and ruined plans. We later learned from the staff that this sight and most in the San Francisco Bay Area do not participate in the self checkout promised by the website due to theft issues. How absurd! False advertising. False promises. What a disconnect between the location and the website.

The radio wasn't working. Each staff member I encountered was exceptionally fridnff do oh and professional. I will return in a few weeks gif another rental. I'm not big on charging by the mile AND buying gas. It should be one of the two charges..not both!!

Lot needs dedicated individual to handle returns. Between 4-5 pm trucks and trailers were lined up out to and onto street. This slowed overall throughput. Many customers had been there over an hour… One gentleman was very helpful switching out equipment for my trailer as I was driving the car trailer 3 200 miles from CA to MA. Tire life on 1st trailer looked dubious so was allowed to switch to different trailer with near new tires.

Everything was great, your employees were so helpful. The only snag was that this location ran out of an adapter that we needed for the auto transport trailer we rented so we had to go to the auto parts store to buy it and luckily they had the adapter in stock. It would've been really inconvenient if they didn't. So perhaps try to keep your store well stocked for these items that customers will almost guaranteed need. I noticed there were many empty hooks inside the store, looks like a lot of items need to be replenished. Other than that your employees made everything else great. Merci!

Even though I reserved a trailer and dolly, neither was available when I arrived for my scheduled pickup time. NOT GOOD. But Brodee Loggins and Kathleen went above and beyond to help me get the equipment and sent me on my way. I'm very disappointed in U-Haul, not only because my reservation was ignored, in spite of confirmation the day before, and for putting staff in the position they were in having to tell me the equipment simply wasn't available. They had to work incredibly hard to help me out, and that should not have happened.

Line was at least 25 people long. Not enough parking. The whole experience was chaotic. When we returned the truck there was a line going out into the middle of a very busy street because it was so disorganized. Did not receive truck until over an hour had passed into our reservation.
