Even with a technical issue going on. I was in and out very quickly while the customer service was spot on. Truck was great and was exactly what I needed. And the return hardly lasted 5 minutes. If I need another truck, I know exactly where I'm going.ROBERT C.
I rented a motorcycle trailer one way from Wash. to Cal. no problem, when I went back to rent trailer to go home was told that no u-haul in the bay area rented a motorcycle trailer one way out of state. Not cool, had to put motorcycle in the back of my with a truck tool box and a bunch of tools. My truck is a 4x4 shortbed, was not easy fitting everything in truck.ERIC S.

Self check-in did not work. I had to wait in a line that took 20 minutes to get to the front. They charged me for the CDW insurance coverage but I did not sign up for it when I reserved the van online. Not a happy customer experience overall.MARK M.

I chose the no contact app option for getting my truck, only issue is I still had to go in for the key. I would of liked a feature such as the Home Depot or Lowe's pick up boxes where you punch in a code and a single box out of many open up and you grab your sanitized keys.chris M.

Sara Wetzstein was extremely helpful to download my drivers license picture and to know my name when the front desk could not find my reservation. Good Job Sara. It goes without saying the location is very small and tight with limited ingress and egress. It's too bad that I used the motorcycle trailer at a time of duress for 26hrs and was charged for two days, Of course it was justified because I exceeded 24hrs. Merci.Bob S.

The van was disgusting, it smelled like someone used it for a bathroom, not number 1 but number 2.. it was so bad I had to use Lysol spray inside the cab, on the seat and in the back storage area. It was absolutely gross, my clothes smelled of this for the entire day after driving it. I will be contacting your customer service department regarding this as well.DAVID C.

The U-Haul experience was excellent. The only thing was all the day workers in front of the facility, but there is not much you can do about that.John M.

Your online booking was TERRIBLE! I kept asking questions and not getting the answers I need, but the guy kept asking for a credit card to continue the booking. I said "Forget it" and hung up. 30 minutes later I got a confirmation call and said NO! Then I physically went into the Concord Ca store on Friday to book a trailer for Sunday. All the emails came through and I even uploaded my driver's license twice. When I arrived to pick up the trailer, they said that reservation was cancelled ALSO. -- All-in-all a very frustrating venture with UHaul!!!! (guys and gals in the store were nice, friendly and helpful)KENNETH A.
Sara Wetzstein (manager) was there the morning I was picking up and made sure I had the right key and all the equipment I had ordered with the truck. Bobby also was there to help move other trucks out of the way so I could leave, and greeted me when I was there to drop off. They have a well-oiled machine at this location and work really hard to make sure you are getting your truck on time. I would also say the remote check-in was super easy on my phone, as long as I created a profile ahead of time. It was nice to not wait in line or wait to talk to someone, and I'm sure it makes it easier for the staff.Elizabeth C.

I used the app for an online check-in but I was told no vehicle was assigned so I had to go inside the store. I had to wait in line for 20 minutes. The staff complained the computer systems were slow. You need to bring back online check-in.SANJIT S.
Every time I use this location there is always a problem. I'm always stuck waiting for the employees to help me out with something unexpected such as the truck is unavailable, the computer systems are down or unavailable or most recently the truck I was assigned was broken down. I'd suggest going elsewhere and only coming here as a last resort.Joshua S.

Awful. Both agents were unprofessional. The girl was flirting with me and the guy was using bad language and asking personal questions like where i got my truck from. He didn't check the auto transport trailer well and rented out a trailer with one of the tire safety belts ripped off. He didn't connect the trailer correctly to my truck and as a result, when I was loading my car, it got stuck half way on ramp and would not go forward or back. The plastic belly part of my car got broken on both sides.NIKOLAY F.

They said I would not be charged for the second day due to the poor condition of the vehicle. No sunshades, engine light would not go off, air pressure warning light on left and right wheels would not go off, even after I filled them 3 times. Rental return area needs to be better managed, I pulled into the Return lane and wasn't sure what I was to do next. A lot associate showed up but he was not wearing any type of clothing that indicated that he was a U-Haul employee. I inquired about an Express Rental Return. He said that he would check me in. All my stuff is currently covered by some blue detergent, because the uhaul has a huge pool on the bottom with it. I'm now washing all my boxes after this move, hoping I get all the detergent off. It's unfortunately pretty disgusting.Simon F.
There are various types of customers of different age ranges. In my case, like my family and friends, we don't drive latest models of cars or vans. Ours are in the range of 2008-2013; therefore we are not fully aware of latest models with new driving technologists ,which are not obvious to us. That was my problem and I could not get help on time to explain to me the new vans technologists different from models we normally drive. This creates somewhat a hesitance to hire a Van from U-HaulJOSEPH L.
There doesn't seem to be enough people working here and the people that do work there seem very unhappy to be there.Ryan S.

Many of the dents and scratches on the truck where not previously noted. I had to do a very thorough pre trip inspection and dispute every angle of the truck. Your staff here saved the day - uhaul booked me for a 7,3 PM after hours pick up that I drove 2 hours to do only to find out concord uhaul does not do this... had Sarah W. not been there I would have been extremely displeased with the situation. She was extremely kind to take pity on us and stay late to sort it out when the poor woman had been working in a hot building with no AC all day and had to return again at 7am the next day. She went above and beyond and you're lucky to have her as an employee. Antoine checked us out and he was equally great.MICHELLE C.
