Very disappointed in UHaul this time. The prices keep rising and it was a struggle to make the appointment and make sure the truck and tow dolly I needed was available. UHaul needs to figure their stuff out.Justin H.

Hello, this was the first time that I have used your services and I am very disappointed because of service and the final amount that I have been charged. First that they sent me to downtown with a reservation paper and the location where I arrived told me that there isn't any available truck. I had to go back again the same location where the guy gave me a cargo van even my reservation was 10 inch truck, the result that I had to make one trip final was 3 trips and late night. So I have got charged for extra miles and 1 day extra Total 147$. 30miles became 97 miles and one day extra I would like to claim for this service and have my old reservation confirmation which wasn't completed from your side. My budget for this was maximum 80$ but I have been charged extra 67$ more because of bad managementHarutyun G.

I am currently moving with my family across the country and using one of your 5x8 trailers. While the trailer has worked well, some other parts of this move have not. The ball that I purchased to tow your trailer has consistently come loose from during our trip. Its recurring knocking and rattling has caused greater stops to retighten. Also, when making an overnight stop, the trailer does not have a pin lock to secure the trailer to the car. I did purchase a lock set from the pickup location. That "master" lock set is for the pin, ball, and hitch pin. The ball lock does not fit over the coupler due to a ridge on your coupler. That, combined with the lack of a lockable pin makes the security of the connection quite low. Additionally - when I showed this information to the receiving site, they simply shrugged and said that's not how it should be, and "we don't sell that type of lock". So, ensuring that the accessories sold are compatible with your equipment would be a great start. Merci.Nathan S.

At first it seemed like it was going to be a good experience until I returned the truck and the guy said hey give me the keys from across the. I've been walked toward him and toss them underhand I and unfortunately they fell on the ground and he said "what's your problem" very rudely and I was unbelievably stunned by this kind of behavior. never say anything like that. It wasn't intentional that I meant for the keys to hit the ground ihe was too far away. My bad and I even apologize on the spot where he continued to get more rude and more rude for the next 10 minutes. Wow, I will not be returning to that particular U-Haul location ever.GREGORY A.
Train employees to have better customer service. I chose to do a self check in and pick up, I was guided through the app to find my reserved truck and a dolly which I had also booked. After locating the keys, and the truck, later I was guided by the app to locate the dolly. When I got the dolly an employee jumped out of the office and said â€œdo you just take the dolly like that?â€ I was confused and he walked towards me and just pulled the dolly from my hands and he said that this dolly was his dolly and I couldn't take it. I found it dolly for two grown men to be arguing about a dolly, so I let it go. And after 10 minutes looking around and waiting in line another gentalman helped me by going out and taking that same dolly and giving it to me. Which beats the whole purpose of â€œautomated self-pick upâ€. After I went to the truck, the truck had poop in the back and smelled really bad. The same nice gentleman who helped me earlier (not the one who snatched the dolly from me) was nice enough to take the truck to clean it and put extra pads on the dried poop so I could use the truck. Finally, after returning the truck, I did automated self-return. And I was told I will get the receipt later today of my charges. And just now I received the receipt and I was over charged. I only drove 9 miles, but u-haul charged me for 18 miles. It was clearly human error because on my receipt it shows that the truck had 108 592 miles at time of pick up and 108 601 at time of drop off (108 601 - 108 592 = 9 miles.). But the person doing my paperwork punched in 108 610 instead of 108 601 and the system overcharged me $30 dollars). Unfortunately, it is ironic and kind of funny that whatever could go wrong that day, did go wrong. I hope this was a one in a million situation and this doesn't happen often. But next time I will be praying that things go better if I ever have to use UHaul again.Arsen M.

Aside from the problems mentioned earlier, the staff at this location was not focused on our turn in despite waiting in line. He was helping other customers that came after us and we ended up spending almost 1,5 hrs. there altogether. The representative assisting me with the paperwork did not seem friendly. As a first time customer for U Haul, he did not explain the pros/cons of adding insurance. Nor did he mention that you cannot add insurance after picking up the vehicle. a travelling from state to state, I realized after leaving U Haul, that insurance would have been a good idea. Fuel was same level at the drop, I put $ 20 gas for 17 mile, and they charged $ 27- 30.00, its not fair. I told them to check the gas level, but they didn't. $ 29,99 truck ended up $153 renting for six hours, and I was supposed to get a discount for returning same day.Sarkis K.

Consumer Fraud is how I would title this review. At drop off, accusations were made that I created damaged to the roof of the van. I found it strange that it would be the first place the manager would look. And mind you the damage was a blue marking and was some how not visible on the photo the manager had, but was on the photo I accepted when prior to driving the van off the lot. When I asked the manager when the photo was taken, he said it was a stock photo, which to me, means an original and not an updated one. He immediately told me I was going to be charged the deductible for this. In researching this UHaul location, there seems to be a common thread of customer complaints regarding this same issue. I rented this van to transport balloons and never accessed the roof, let alone drive into a parking garage or parked the vehicle under a covered area to have created this damage. This manager took advantage of me and seems to be taking advantage of many other customers.Lauren R.
