I made an online reservation and the morning I was to pick up my truck I was informed the didn't have my size. I downsized to what was avail to me. I was moving from Burbank to West LA, didn't know I would have to return truck to Burbank. Now I'm getting a very high charge when I didn't even recieve my requested equipment.

There was NEVER any direct communication that there would be a mileage charge. I will never Use UHaul again. I find this business practice the most despicable of all, totally indefensible. Nobody I spoke with explained the fact that there would be a mileage charge which was three times the rate quoted.

The location is great, and the member of staff who confirmed my order the day before was very helpful. However, the app experience for collection and return is absolutely terrible. The app: - repeatedly fails to load pages when clicking continue, which then requires resubmission of the form data. - applies photo limits which it does not tell you about in advance (and then you can't remove photos to replace them with more important ones.) - shows images of things that do not look the same at the site (e.g., the app shows a large yellow key dropbox, when in reality it was a hole in a window. This makes it hard to find things.) - fails to upload photos, which prevents you from continuing. After trying about 7 or 8 times to upload a picture of the odometer, and it failing, I was stuck and could not complete the return equipment step on the app. I had to load the uhaul website in my phone browser, and then went through the exact same steps and it worked fine. How does the uhaul app have worse compatibility for its own forms than a third-party browser? We had similar photo upload issues with the additional driver invite, which we just never got to work. These technical issues made the out-of-hours collection and return experience much longer and extremely annoying.

The app for returning the car wasn't working and then I held on the phone line waiting for customer service for 30 minutes late at night alone in this dark parking lot. The key return window was not easily visible. Really upset with this experience. Cost me time and money

After receiving a call that the truck I reserved would not be ready at the original location, and being told that a truck would be available in Glendale instead, I arrived and was told that there was no truck for me. Not in Glendale, and not within 50 miles, even though I was willing to be flexible on the size at that point. This should not even be possible when someone makes a reservation more than a week in advance, and nearly derailed the event we needed it for, until another of your employees overheard his colleague telling me I was out of luck and figured out a way to rearrange someone else's reservation. Please fix your internal communication, and please train your employees to be creative problem solvers like employee #2 instead of telling customers that you're just not going to fulfill their reservation.

There were a lot of returns happening at once, and entrances were blocked off. I didn't receive a confirmation of drop-off, but the guys there were hustling and quickly took over. So it was fast which is nice.

I'm can't be sure there is a scam with the gas, but on a Nissan Express cargo van, for 20 miles, I had to add 4,3 gallons of gas. That's 4,6 miles per gallon. I was credited 10 $worth of gas, but I' can't be sure this is not a scam.

Have the truck I reserved weeks ago ready for me to pickup. And don't force me to take a smaller truck because you have not done your logistics properly. I had reserved a 26 foot truck on August 30 for September 10 pickup. When I got to the location on September 10 - there were no 26 foot trucks available for me. Although I saw a 26 foot truck in the parking lot of the location, I was told that one was not for inner city moving and was only reserved for out of the city moving. I needed to move that day so I had no other choice but to downgrade to a 20 foot truck. This then lead me to have my moving crew charge me 3 hours extra 50 $per person (5 people) so a total of 750 $extra because we needed to make 2 trips instead of 1 if we had the right sized truck. So as a budget company, Uhaul actually cost me more than what I would have paid with 2 Guys and a Truck. Let it be known that, if this message falls on deaf ears, I will be posting a through review on all the major review sites on the internet yelp/google... etc

Reservation. I was told in the morning to pick up at Burbank and I double confirmed the same. But when I went to Burbank I was told to go to Glendale. This caused almost 2 hrs delay to my overall schedule

We returned the truck through and after hours return. It was fairly easy to understand. the only problem we have is that with this method there was no option to add reimbursement receipts from the U-Haul mechanics we stopped at like they said there should be.

The office could use some making over. The ceiling was caving in noticeably due to a water leak. I think you could make the office nicer for your employees. Other than that they were great and the experience was seamless

PLEASE invest in your IT systems - I dropped off at Glendale, CA, I picked up in Libertyville, IL so this form is incorrect. Every single employee I interacted with was super helpful and kind but the entire phone system is so archaic. If I tried to call a local location's phone, and they didn't pick up, I got routed to the corporate line or just dropped. Thank god I found a number for scheduling where I could talk to a real person, and I know the reps on the corporate line are working very hard, but you seriously need to improve these systems for your employees and for your customers, it's incredibly frustrating.

This location was great. But I was sent there by the location I made a reservation with because my van wasn't available. So it was inconvenient having to use a second location that was further from me (and I had to pay for that extra mileage). But again, the location I ended up renting from was great.
