I'm can't be sure there is a scam with the gas, but on a Nissan Express cargo van, for 20 miles, I had to add 4,3 gallons of gas. That's 4,6 miles per gallon. I was credited 10 $worth of gas, but I' can't be sure this is not a scam.Hugo M.

Have the truck I reserved weeks ago ready for me to pickup. And don't force me to take a smaller truck because you have not done your logistics properly. I had reserved a 26 foot truck on August 30 for September 10 pickup. When I got to the location on September 10 - there were no 26 foot trucks available for me. Although I saw a 26 foot truck in the parking lot of the location, I was told that one was not for inner city moving and was only reserved for out of the city moving. I needed to move that day so I had no other choice but to downgrade to a 20 foot truck. This then lead me to have my moving crew charge me 3 hours extra 50 $per person (5 people) so a total of 750 $extra because we needed to make 2 trips instead of 1 if we had the right sized truck. So as a budget company, Uhaul actually cost me more than what I would have paid with 2 Guys and a Truck. Let it be known that, if this message falls on deaf ears, I will be posting a through review on all the major review sites on the internet yelp/google... etcARAM G.

We returned the truck through and after hours return. It was fairly easy to understand. the only problem we have is that with this method there was no option to add reimbursement receipts from the U-Haul mechanics we stopped at like they said there should be.Kevin K.

PLEASE invest in your IT systems - I dropped off at Glendale, CA, I picked up in Libertyville, IL so this form is incorrect. Every single employee I interacted with was super helpful and kind but the entire phone system is so archaic. If I tried to call a local location's phone, and they didn't pick up, I got routed to the corporate line or just dropped. Thank god I found a number for scheduling where I could talk to a real person, and I know the reps on the corporate line are working very hard, but you seriously need to improve these systems for your employees and for your customers, it's incredibly frustrating.Karen R.

This location was great. But I was sent there by the location I made a reservation with because my van wasn't available. So it was inconvenient having to use a second location that was further from me (and I had to pay for that extra mileage). But again, the location I ended up renting from was great.TRAVIS L.

the truck was muddy like it had been driven through mud; the steering wheel shook heavily often when accelerating. AND THE WORST PART...I returned the truck at 3:33pm (it was not due until 9pm). The attendant came out...and said he would send me a receipt via email. I said "I don't have to go inside and check out?" He said "no everything will be done via email with a receipt. The next morning on my way to work...20 mins before my meeting I was left a message upset that "i hadn't delivered the truck by 9pm the day before...and they were "wondering where the truck was ...as someone had reserved it"!! I IMMEDIATELY called the number in Glendale they left...NO ONE ANSWERED...I was put on "hold" after trying several times. I was stressed out...heading into a meeting!!! I decided to call the National Uhaul line...WAITED AGAIN FOR SEVERAL MINUTES until someone finally picked up. I explained to her the situation. She looked...and finally found that it had been "rectified" and my final bill had been charged. I SAID "I HAVE NOT RECEIVED AN EMAIL WITH CONFIRMATION YET...I GOT A PHONE CALL SAYING THE TRUCK IS MISSING....AND NO APOLOGY FOR THE FACT THEY MADE THE MISTAKE AND STRESSED ME OUT!" I THINK AN APOLOGY IS IN ORDER HERE! I have used UHAUL for MANY years..and NEVER had this poor service.Kristopher A.

The staff was super nice and helpful, no complaints about the location or the staff. I have to say, the booking process for uhaul was extremely stressful- again, staff was great and did what they could, but I spent 1 000 $on a tiny trailer that blew a tire on the road after a day of driving. This was after I had to scramble to get the booking reserved the day before even though I technically booked months in advance. Not a great experience, and definitely not worth the price.ERIN D.

The check in process was easy and quick. I liked the ability to check photos on my phone to see before and after for damage. The van was clean and well maintained other than some trash left in a spot easy to miss. My main compliant was the lack of requirements of masks indoors. Due to COVID-19 cases going up and local mandates for masks indoors, this was really disappointing.Cadyn C.

While I would have liked it if they would have helped with the disconnecting of the chains and tie-downs so I could then drive my car off of the trailer, I was told when I rented the trailer that nowhere in the area offered off-loading assistance...so, it must be a California thing. Nonetheless, the gentleman who handled the check-in was very friendly and professional.Wally D.
