People who helped with pick up were not as helpful. Rushed through check out and didn't properly review photos and van. Tire pressure was low on our van so we had to turn back around. People who helped with return were more helpful.

Make sure that all your vehicles are safe before you release them. This vehicle arrived with a problematic tire. This could have caused a blow out upon driving the vehicle. The repair team came out and changed the tire very quickly, however that said, it could have been avoided. I personally, would have expected a better resolution. If Uhaul had made the effort to at least offer a discounted service for inconveniencing us, it may have shed a better light on the overall experience. Imagine how I felt, being in Michigan with absolutely no control over the situation at hand. I called your corporate office and I do have the address of Jaime Lee. The reviews on U Haul have been discerning and I would hope you might want to change that. It was unfortunate that our planning has been delayed, however I am grateful he discovered the tire was flat before he drove the vehicle on to the freeway. I would be happy to write a more favorable review to both the public relations dept and to your VP. If you would be kind enough to offer a discount for the final bill, I would feel more confident that UHaul was taking the right step in customer relations that would ultimately change the value of the experience without disregarding customer safety. Ideally, the benefit of renting from a highly established company with great reviews for moving outweighs any negative responses. That said, I would have expected the features of renting a trailer/truck should have been more advantageous overall for seeking the benefits of renting from UHAUL rather than renting from Enterprise or Budget. If you would be kind enough to reach out to me, so we both could come to a resolution that would be favorable, I would be grateful. I would prefer to walk away feeling satisfied and appreciated. I rated this low to get your attention. Juan helped me, but the person who took my reservation did not! I live 3 blocks from the Koreatown location. I walked there to get my reservation. Juan tells me I'm at the wrong location???! The operator NEVER asked if I was close to any pick up center. He NEVER asked if I had a preference pick up location, nothing. So if the only van available was in North Hollywood, isn't that something I should be told? I get to the Koreatown location and on my email it says another location. I didn't have a way to the other location. It was poor customer service on your part as a service provider. Juan at Koreatown was kind enough to transfer the account to his location and a van was being returned. On top of this in think you charges me twice. I put in my pin# in the office and when I returned the van. Why? I also want to know why the van is $44.00 and change. I thought rental was $19.99

Honestly extremely dissatisfied with Uhaul in general. I was given a call 24 hours before my reservation to inform me that there were no available trucks for my RESERVED time. So i can reserve a truck, and CHECK IN FOR THAT TRUCK, and still not be able to have that truck. What the fuck is the point of having a reservation if it means nothing? The representative couldn't care less, helped poorly, and then had the audacity to hang up on me after she had finished talking. Upon calling back, i was met with another rude representative, who allowed for me to check in at a different time, as if by some stroke of magic a truck would appear at an earlier moment. Honestly unbelievable. I will never be renting from this shit company again with the way they treated me. Even when i got to the pick-up location, they were rude, rolling their eyes, making remarks, and just didn't care at all.

Long wait first thing in the morning on a weekend at the end of the month. The staff, especially the woman juggling multiple customer needs, phone calls, and staff coordination simultaneously. I think her name was Ms. Pierce? And another woman, maybe Marisol?, was expertly tending to a very busy lot. While they exceeded expectations and are very obviously competent assets to the company, they could have used additional help with the customer volume at that specific time. 10/10, would recommend!

I made an online arrangement but had to wait in a very long line. The appt took awhile to find and the check-in was longer than anticipated. I think most of these issues could be resolved by having additional personnel on staff

First, when a reservation is made in advance at a certain other location then that should be kept. Because of picking up the truck at this location added extra wasted miles on our car and costs for mileage from our area of use.

I scheduled a pick up for 6am but it was entered in the Uhaul system at 9am pick up at the start of store hours. I even called the night before to confirm the 6am pick up logistics and it was verified. I didn't end up getting into a truck until 2 hours later at 8am. I ended up violating my move out window in my apartment which cost me $75 fined by my building and had to drive an extra 10 miles to a further pick up round trip in Koreatown for the 24 hour truck. The truck itself was fine, but if possible I'd like a refund for my fine which was caused by your clerical error.

I feel like we got ripped of with the whole rental. Purchased a round trip ($400) vs a one way ($1000) from LA to Phoenix. The round trip said it included 5 days and 878 miles. The savings seemed worth it to me return it to LA. Upon returning it to LA I was told that the rental was only for 3 days and only included 439 miles. (It's about 370 one way to Phoenix, so how was this calculation made?) We had to pay almost $300 more because of the extra miles and an extra day (rented from Monday to Thursday). How is it possible that our reservation was switched like this?

Have the actual reservation available. I reserved a 15' truck @ $29.99 but was stuck with a 10' @19.99. I was still charged for the 15'. This also made one trip impossible which added another 2 hours to the process and another $100.00 in laborer fees.

The was some miscommunication I was under the impression that I look for the truck that display a particular number I found it and it was given away. They said they sometimes they double book them. I thought my move day would be delayed or even postponed

I reserved a truck through my mobile app. When I arrived early to pick up the truck I was unable to. My reservation was 5:am Every time I clicked ready for pick up I received a message stating the location didn't open until 7am. My nephew also tried on his mobile device and received the same message. I left and went back at 7am. The manager of the location saw me outside trying to figure out why the site was not working. I told him I had an appt at 530 but kept being redirected to the message stating the location opened at 7. He seemed very disinterested so I asked him if someone else could help me. He told me i needed to scan the barcode. I told him several time I never received a barcode. Again he seemed disinterested. I went inside where he told me my reservation had been canceled because I didn't get the truck at 530. He didn't care that I didn't receive a bar code at all. He ended up renting me a truck for 3 hours. Which I originally reserved for 5. After I told him I would take it he asked me twice are you sure you will have it back on time as if I was a child or teenager. Im 52 years old. I saw him business card on the counter as i was paying for the rental which i grabbed. And to my surprise Juan is a manager. I grabbed the card to submit a complaint. His customer service was absolutely terrible! The online service was absolutely terrible!!!!!! On the other hand the guy who walked me around the truck before taking off was very nice and so was the young lady who checked me out. Juan should take lessons from them. Im very disappointed in my experience and will never rent from that location again. This was my first and last! I've never had issues at the other locations.

Your advertised pricing is misleading. You say it's 29.00 a day but the rate is at least double that when you add the mileage fee. My rate was three times the advertised rate. I will use another service next time.

The place we ended up dropping off was great, but the fact that our initial drop off place told us they didn't do uhaul stuff anymore was extremely inconvenient, as we had to hold onto the truck an extra night. Please make sure Tharp OG Tobacco is taken off your list!

I was shocked that a representative called to advise me on a more economic price than the one I had selected online because businesses nowadays are more money hungry than customer oriented. I will definitely be going back to this location in the future due to it's amazing customer service! The pick up and drop off process was so smooth, quick, and stress free.

Worst customer service experience I've had in a long time. I had issues processing my pick up on the phone and the staff was super rude and did not help at all. At the end we figured it was because they were trying to give out the truck I was assigned to someone else while I was trying to “pick up” on the phone. 40 mins wasted when I chose that option to make it quick. The tire pressure warning light was on the Dash and there was a message about it on there too but they didn't care to even take a look.

Location was great. Was frustrating because i ordered a 1 way rental two weeks in advance, and i was provided a roundtrip rental 20 miles away from the location i signed up for. It really put a damper on my moving plans. However, the truck was great.

I feel like I usually am waiting in line for what seems like forever whenever I come to pick up a moving truck, but I was blown away by how user friendly and easy your app was to reserve/pickup/drop off the truck.... There were so many steps and so many little things that could have gone wrong, and nothing did! Thanks for making this a stress free process, because everything else about moving is not :).
