Had an electrical issue that required a quick fix. Although they had someone on site they said they wouldn’t get to it until the next day. Since we were moving that night i desperately had to find an auto shop to fix it. Once fixed, Uhaul put on the wrong hitch which made the trailer too low and it caused sparks on the highway. I had to get a hotel and find a uhaul location the next day to put on proper trailer hitch

Have more vehicles available, or train personnel to be able to get a vehicle from other store and bring it to the customer. also, we need space to leave our vehicles in the lot while we are using a u-haul truck. also, personnel is talking too much to themselves and not paying attention to customers.

The Los Angeles location was a after hours drop off location. I did not have my cell phone with me at the time which is necessary to complete the drop off process. I borrowed my friends phone which your system did not recognize. I spoke with supervisor so I could complete the drop off process.

U-Haul did not have my truck at the location I reserved. I had to then Uber across town and spend 2 full hours on the phone with them to get a truck I reserved weeks in advance. Worst experience with any company hands down.

Upon arriving at U-Haul, there was a long line. It went fairly quick. Although we drove off by 10:00 a m, the truck had a 9:00 a m time. The girls at the front desk were friendly, courteous, and very pleasant and professional. I give them 150% The gentleman who gave us the truck was also most professional, fast and courteous. My experience was pleasant.

Hello thank you so much to the team of this location i reserve the truck 10 “ when I get there it was gone so they reserve me another one for 2:30 pm but good think that they call me saying that they have one available at 11:30 am so I picked up , and to improve the location will be if some one reserve a truck for some specific time and you guys call to confirm you guys don’t give the truck away when the customer confirm I know sometimes happen like me I suppose to take it to the location the same day at 7 but I couldn’t make it at that time I taked the next day. But they really help me a lot thanks staff of Koreatown I will recommend you guys to my friends??????????????

I always return my trailers after hours. It is consistently an enormous pain and very stressful trying to find space due to so many late night returns and people parking terribly. This is a major inconvenience because if there’s nowhere to return it then you are forced to park somewhere in the street. This is almost impossible in LA, let alone finding a spot for one car. It seems that it is very busy all the time at all locations and i don’t understand why there isn’t 24 hour security and/or return person to wrangle vans/ trucks/ trailers etc and put them in their proper spots. I’m positive I am not the only person with this issue. I constantly run into people returning after hours while I’m struggling to make a return and they sometimes get very upset. I think for the trouble of employees moving and reorganizing the lot every morning this would be a good compromise to lighten the load all around and make the experience for customers that much better and efficient. U-haul seems to have cornered the market and there are no other businesses that offer these services with the convenience that u haul does. I am a longtime customer and i rent trailers extremely often. I would like to have piece of mind that I’m not gonna have an extremely difficult time trying to return my equipment after hours and risk hurting myself or damaging equipment because there’s no rhyme or reason to how some people return equipment.

It would be nice if your employee wouldn't attack and cuss at me for dropping the keys off in the box like the app process told me to do. He had to be physically restrained by other employees! I did record the incident and may post it online. I really have a bad taste after this incident.

My reservation was made via the U-Haul app. My check-out was also via the U-Haul app. Since this is my first time using the U-Haul app it takes a bit of getting use to. Next time around it should be much easier. Be prepared to photograph your license front and back and also yourself if you are the driver.

I was lucky to get help from the lady(Clerk) on time with very good manner. I went U-haul about 30 minutes earlier. However, I found people who has appointment and just walk in are all in one line and it was "first come first serve" In that case, why should people need to make an appointment? If I went U-Haul at 9: 30, I would never get helped on time.

I had a terrible experience with uhaul overall. I ordered a truck on Thursday night to be picked up Friday night. When arrived to the pickup location, I was informed that my reservation had been cancelled. There was only one truck there and the person in front of me got it. I called customer service to figure out what happened, was put on hold and then hung up on. I called another number and was told if I hurry down to another location I could get a truck there but they would not stay past 8. I raced there with a minute to spare and got the truck. This was the worst customer service I have received by any company. There was no reason my initial reservation should have been cancelled. Uhaul did not have enough trucks at the location and failed to notify me causing major undue stress. Terrible company.

I arrived promptly at store opening and found a short line of 3 people in front of me. Yet I had to wait 50 minutes to get my cargo van. Of note was one female worker moving slowly, often standing around doing nothing, sipping on a starbucks latte nonchalantly, cracking jokes, and showing very little desire to provide quick customer service for a growing line of annoyed customers in the rain. I have been renting from Uhaul weekly for the last 3 months at the Santa Monica Lincoln location, and have experienced nothing but exceptional service. My experience at the Los Angeles Western Ave location was horrible. I will not recommend this location to any friends or colleagues.

Installer was great and prompt. Installation was quick and neat. Trailer hitch electrical was done incorrect. Trailer lights would not work when trailer was connected to my car. Ground wire pigtail on left taillight was not connected, it was just dangling in the tallight housing. Installer checked hookup using the exahaust as a ground not using the ground connector in the plug as a ground. very frustrating.

The equipment was clean, but it was given to me with a padlock on the back. Nobody noticed. I drove 20 miles to pick up a refrigerator and thought I was screwed. I called roadside assistance and was told they couldn't help me. Thankfully the person selling me the refrigerator had a bolt cutter and cut the lock off, otherwise I would have had to drive all the way back to the location just to have them remove the lock. This all happened after I booked a truck to be picked up the night before at a closer location, but was later told I couldn't because the location would be closed. Why was it even an option for me to book it at the time I did if the location would be closed?

It’d be nice if: 1) If when I reserve, & I’m asked what location I’d prefer to pick up the truck, that location isn’t changed between hanging up the phone and receiving a confirmation email. (Given that, why was I even asked where I’d prefer to pick up?) And 2) The place I’m sent (since it doesn’t matter to you where that is vs where you tell me it will be) actually HAS a truck to pick up. This place had no truck or plan to have a truck. Sorry it was such a hassle for customer service to have to find a completely different location where my reservation could be filled.

I would not recommend this U-Hall Store to rent because of the fact that when you need to return back ure truck the drop off location parking lot you can not drop of there reducía blocking the entrance . There is no way return the vechile . They need to leave the parking lot open for we can have access to park it. So stressful I had to call the 1800 GO U-HAUL speak representative who told me I can not do nothing about it . She wasn’t helpful at all.

Great staff. The corroborating info asked is getting more & more invasive each time I rent. Having to call my backup contact with me present is dumb, what if they’re in the shower or taking a dump? Does corporate really think that little performance is going to deter theft? Taking a picture of front and back of the license from a phone and then sending it to the computer is less than secure. What assurances are there that all this info won’t be “hacked” at some point? None. The worst part is that the employee present bears the brunt of the frustrated client instead of the bean counter who came up with these stupid “security” measures. Put a LoJack in the trucks and stop grasping for inadequate solutions whose only effect is not to deter theft but to deter return customers
