It was a very lengthy process. waited inline for over 15 minutes to be told that I needed to go out and get the equipment commented and tested before the contract could be finalized. then I have to wait inline at that location to come back to wait inline for the contract.

I was guaranteed equipment at my local branch only to have it moved to a location 3 miles in the wrong direction. I want reimbursement On the extra mileage and stress that occurred as a result.

I spent over an hour trying to get the 24/7 feature to work so I could get the keys to my truck. Both my wife and I were on hold for over 45 minutes waiting for help. While there, a homeless person who had been sleeping in the truck next to the one I was renting surprised me, several people sleeping in or beside other trucks were urinating & defecating on the premises, and people who appeared dangerous were hanging-out at the area. I also witnessed a fist-fight across the street. Your 24/7 feature did not work for over an hour. I was frustrated, and it caused our move to go over our allotted time. The day before the move I tried calling the pick-up location at least 20 times during the day to confirm the 24/7 early-morning pick-up. Each time the call rolled-over to a call center where the wait was at least 10-15 minutes. At the very end of the day, the call center told me that the location had not set-up my 24/7 pickup. Later that evening, I got an angry call from the Koreatown UHaul manager saying they don't set-up their pickups until after closing (as if I should know that). If I have an alternative, I will not rent with UHaul again.

I had an amazing experience picking up the van, the two attendants were kind and extremely helpful! Dropping off was another story. The trucks were all parked so haphazardly you could not safely park. The other entrance was blocked by the company. It was a very poor system and if I’m charged for anything relating to the parking of the van It’s no ones fault but uhaul.

Just another bad experience with uhaul. I wouldn't use uhaul if I had another choice, and this was a perfect example as to why. After being bounced around locations because my "reservation" wasn't ready, my entire trip was delayed by 4 hours. When you're doing a multi-state move, that 4 hours is a big deal. Not one person from uhaul offered an apology or refund of any kind. The only company worse than uhaul is Budget when it comes to customer service.

So the location the uhaul was dropped off was not our original drop off point. However the staff and location at 1600 s western ave were the most attentive and helpful we’d seen so far in California. On a lesser note our original drop off location was 1836 s Arapahoe street and that location was the worst experience I’d ever had to deal with in my life. Staff was rude and hostile upon arrival as well as her confrontational and unhelpful. We were held up outside with “employees” who told us we were in the wrong place and that they will tell is the same thing inside even though our paperwork stated there as our final destination. Not only were the staff we were greeted by rude but they other staff inside the location were no better because we didn’t walk in at 10(walked in at 10:05 due to employees outside holding us up) that we were going to be charged an additional day for the vehicle and even tried to up charge the cost from what our actual paperwork said. I will never recommend that location to anyone as they were the worst customer service representatives I’ve ever worked with in my life. On a side note the store that they forced us to go to down the road which ended up being the 1600 s western location made up for their terrible attitudes 100 fold. We were greeted promptly and politely by Luis the GM who took care of everything and made it a much smother experience for us. As we drove across the country from the east coast to the west coast it was very stressful but he had helped us so much and was an amazing and helpful person and I will be sending any and all people who ask me for uhaul recommendations to him and his location

Door got stuck open first time we opened it. Removed a pin (which was designed to be removable) to get the door closed to move to a safe location and the rep at the Korea Town location told me I "vandalized" the truck. He was completely rude and made me never want to use Uhaul services again. Definitely making sure to tell people about this experience.

The only down side was there were a lot of people waiting to be helped and there seemed to be about 6 employees there but only ONE of them was processing the rentals?? Other than that everything else was fine.
