When we dropped off the truck the process was very easy. The person helping us was very nice. However, we had forgot the dolly at my daughters apartment. We brought it back the next morning. I walked in and the person behind the counter was on her phone did not look up. I asked to give my name so I could get credit for bringing it back and she proceeded to tell me it was not necessary as I would not be charged for it. Mind you the ENTIRE time she did not look up once from her phone.JOSEPH T.

This Uhaul location was a mess. There were trucks and vans piled up all around the exterior, with people jumping the curb to get the trucks into the lot because the entrance was blocked off by so many vehicles. There were no staff on site so I don't think this was their fault, but perhaps there should be better signage so that when people drop off their rentals, they don't block the entrance.Amanda M.

Homeless person sleeping in return driveway, several people soliciting for work, staff was completely unhelpful and told me to self-return online even though I came within business hours (5 mins before closing time). Online return didn't work properly and I was stuck there for a bit as staff left for the day.Nathanael C.

The website allows booking all day for mobile pick ups. The location I booked was very upset that I had an appointment for 5PM which is the same as their location closing. If that's the case, the website should reflect that rather than employees being angry at an unknowing customer.Kaitlyn H.

Felt like I was talking to a gangsta or some like.. b) Told me to see a person outside to check the car, but no one was there. I had to go look for the guy. Samething here.. he was laughing and chilling with homies back there. Handed me the key and etc. 2. Limited parking spaces. Only three. So I took a taxi = extra money spent.JOHN K.

I booked a location in DC so it was a pain to find out last minute that I needed to pay 50 $to Uber to a different location 30 mins away. But once we got there, the location was great. Would have been nice if you'd told me that ahead of time so I could have coordinated with a friend with a car instead of the day beforehand.Elizaveta K.

Treat the costumer better when we are renting your trucks specially when returning I had a bad experience with the person at returning; he wanted to charge me for something I did not do. No one walked the truck with me before driving out the yard and did not explained. I'm just an occasional truck renter and don't have very much experience on what their deal is but I have gain some good experience and probably will recommend my friends if they need to rent a truck or van to not to trust especially the person that handle keys to you......JOSE L.

I wish there were different levels of trucks, I'd pay more for a vehicle that is higher quality. Vehicle was fine, clean and all, but like an â€œUber luxâ€ option would be nice. Being able to have option to splurge on a vehicle that's nicer with better finishes, power windows / doors etc. but the staff was great! Appreciate the general managerMarcus M.

The manager, Juan, did not review with me the insurance coverage I purchased, nor did he explain to me what was covered. I asked for a copy of my contract when I returned the truck as I had misplaced the original, the copy I was given did not confirm what type of insurance coverage I had purchased, as I need to submit a claim for damages to property. In addition, assumptions were made by the other employee who checked me in, and that she did not see it indicated on the contract that I had purchased the insurance required to pay for the damage.Richard L.

The Uhaul did not have a working AC and the paper work on the gas was incorrect so even though we did the mobile check-in and corrected the gas we were still charged 30 $which I am currently disputing.KEVIN A.

The 15' truck I reserved didn't have the key to the padlock attached to the truck key and we didn't realize until we got to the event so we had to call an emergency locksmith that could be at the event in minutes so we wouldn't have to forfeit our space at the event.Joshua M.

We booked a van for today at 10:30 am at the location on 620 n heliotrope. Uhaul called us yesterday to confirm and sent a text message confirming the time. We arrived at the location and they told us they were not expecting us until 1pm. I showed the attendant the text message saying 10:30 confirmation. She then proceeds to let the next person in line get the last van, and tells us there's nothing she can do for us but call another location and move the reservation. So we lose an hour and half and get to the other location at 1600 western ave where she did not forward the reservation and had to wait for the reps there redo the reservation. We ended up losing two hours on this process and completely screwed up our pick ups around town. Please feel free to contact us as we would love to hear from you about this incident.DIMITRI L.
