I didn't go to long beach to rent a truck. I went to lomita this was last week on Friday. I took the day off lost a day of pay. For nothing..I had reservations and every thing all lined up. But the guy at u haul store didn't know what to do on the computer so I couldn't rent it and he set my move back a week to today. I couldn't believe it I was very upset. The guys I hired to help lost out on earning money it was so wrong in every way. So here I am putting my faith in uhaul again hoping the Mobil u haul I will have better luck. its the worst move for me ever. But I still have my humor and laugh at and with myself. This has nothing to do with UHaul Longbeach, but the UHaul contactless app system could use some work. Self-checkin broke on my iPhone. The staff were very helpful in making the reservation work anyways.ANDREW M.
Will U-Haul ever consider getting those carpeted furniture dollies to replace the rubber ones? I don't know what it is but the carpeted furniture dollies seem to go over bumps better so all of my boxes/belongings don't fall off.STACY R.

Chad was very helpful. I showed him when leaving that the gas guage was only at 1/8 of a tank, not 1/4 as was specified on my rental contract. He told me to take a pic and, when returning it, I would receive a credit because the tanks are never to be released less than 1/4. After a mile or so of leaving, the "needs gas" warning came on. Chad helped me out upon my return.DARRELL G.

I tried doing the mobile check in, but the website wouldn't let me reset my password so I had to walk into the store to get my truck. It was fine, but just letting you know that the system didn't work. The location itself was fine, I've rented trucks there quite a few times.NOAH T.

Shaun Harvey was the agent that assisted me with getting a truck ready for me at my check-in. I later found out that he was the General Manager of the location. He was very amicable and easy to talk to, and I found the same to be true of *every* one of the other agents at the location. He sets an example of how to best perform customer service by his own example. It is a example filled with respect for both his own employees and the customers they serve daily. I would without reservation return to this location to rent a U-Haul truck in the future despite it not being the location closest to my home.Keith P.

not only (both times) i came in to get my reserved van, people at front desk were, first time, talking about selling their personal vehicle while i stood there waiting. and second, they were arguing over who was getting their vacation time off.. then i was told i had to return the van at 23 hours as they already reserved it to someone else AFTER i told lady at Uhual that i needed can for AT LEAST 28 hours.. also, for a one day rental, driving only 48 miles, while still having to fill up gas, came it to 90 $â€¦. that seems beyond unreasonable. $.89/mile is robbery.STEVEN F.

Make sure the gas level is the same as the picture in the contract. I filled 3-4 gallon for a 2x trip and still got charged for another 4 gallon. Unless you have an old car or you have a tank which have a 3mpg otherwise this is a fraudGORDON H.

Hire staff that know what they are doing. 15 people in line. 1 person behind counter working. 3 others doing nothing. Truck was not ready. And was boxed in. Difficult to locate. Just an overall bad experience. It was 8:30 in morning. Do not rent from this location. You can do better! Saving grace for me to even consider renting from Uâ€"Haul again was guy outside that helped me. Inside staff were terrible all around. Should have read more reviews prior to selecting this location.
