Due to a change in circumstances, I had to return the trailer within 4 hours after renting it. The location still charged me for two days. I understand paying for the 1st day, but don't understand why they charged me for the second day when they had the trailer back.Thomas D.

Took three days to find an employee that could install the hitch. Cost was 300 $after given an estimate of 200 $. Very slow service. Need to hire more reliable employees. Traffic makes exiting lot very difficult. Location is not an area where you want to go too. Took 1,65 hours to hook up 4 wires. Took 2,1 hours to put 6 bolts in the hitch frame.Ronald B.

No one explained the mobile return method and then the app wouldn't allow me to enter the miles. I called the store and she didn't know what was wrong so she transferred me to tech support. This was after 530pm on Sunday and no one was answering. I locked the van and dropped the keys through the door and left. Then they charged me for additional gas. We had to switch out a car trailer for a covered trailer. They were very accommodating and were able to do it for less than the going rate. Truck handled very well on our 1 000 mile move.KURT Z.

I wouldn't recommend Uhaul or utilize their devices ever again. They cancelled my reservation. Had my go all over Indianapolis to find a truck that I reserved two weeks prior. Go to a separate location for my tow dally on a different day! Tried speaking to cooperate and they just transferred me to anyone who'd listen but could t solve anything. Literally made my moving experience worse than it ever should have been. If I could rate them a double zero I would. Beware. They also tried over charging me. So you know how you have that handy dandy gas efficiency meter? It would be nice if you could tie something into the gas gauge like that to display actual gallons used, so when it comes to filling up we don't under shoot or over shoot the gas gauge. And for the love of all that is holy, if the doors are tough to shut, as they tend to be on older models and heavily used types, please place reminders to close doors with a bit of force. Not all your trucks are like this. But it's an old vehicle thing. Your staff at this location are always so helpful too, tell them all to keep up the good work.Laura P.

The people at the actual location were fine. Its the girl who called me shortly after i made my online reservation that pissed me off. She said that she was from Uhauls central office. She tried to tell me that the only location that had the equipment avaiable was Lafayette Rd. I asked her so Ill have to pay more for what type of truck. And that I had no interest in driving all the way to Lafayette Rd. The details of my reservation were for a pickup from the W Washington and Lynhurst location for 4 hrs. Suddenly what I originally wanted was available where I wanted to go. Why was it necessary for her to meddle in this at all? She accomplished nothing but looking like some kind of fool. Solidifying the fact that i truly will never do business with Uhaul again. Her name was something like Tynesha or Kyesha.Barri O.
I had reserved and got confirmation to get a 15 ft truck, call to let them know I'm gonna be a few min late and they said we have no truck, this was on high school road location, person was very rude about it and didn't offer to help me at all. this is the seconded times this has happened to me. I was not very happy at all, why does it allow you to reserve a truck for there to not be one available? Called Washington st location and the guy said if I head over he can get me in a truck. The Washington st location, so we went there and they had one. They were very friendly and helpful. Luckily they had one. I don't know if I will use uhaul again tho since the site lets you schedule a truck for you to not get it. Bad customer service. Not happy with the ordeal at all. Problem one: The truck had some kind of construction debris stuck to the passenger side tire. It appeared to be some kind of tar like substance that made it very difficult to steer the vehicle. It was scary to fight to keep that truck on the road. The back of the truck had not been cleaned out and was full of construction type debris on the floor. I swept the truck out once I arrived to move my items. Problem two: I rented a 17 ft truck to move 17ft items and was told upon arrival that there were no 17ft trucks available.MICHELLE C.

As far is this location, the individual working there that day couldn't be bothered to look up from his phone for more than a total of 3 seconds combined between pick up and drop off. This was extra frustrating as my pick up location changed after I booked it online. I went to the original location then was told to go to this one. I wasted approximately 40 minutes of my time and was late for my destination. It didn't help matters at all that the employee in duty was preoccupied with texting and couldn't acknowledge me when I was speaking.Timothy R.

Fix the brakes in the truck they barely work you have to put like 40lbs of force on the brakes before the pedal even starts to move and when it does start working the brakes squeak and squeal really bad. Fix the broken window. Clean broken glass out of the truck before your customer picks it up... Also the dolly I was provided had a broken axel upon pickup. It was not usableJUSTIN S.

The pick up and location went well. It was the customer service I received when I called to extend my rental that went terrible. The lady on the phone was VERY RUDE!!!! I asked about extending my truck rental and she said "NO!" I then ask about any other options because we were right in the middle of unloading our truck. She said "You WILL return the truck NOW!" and then hung up on me. This is not professional nor is it okay to treat paying customers like this. I will never rent from U-Haul again!CRAIG H.

Listening over and over to the same stupid message with emphasis on the word "FREE".... You provide NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR FREE.. and your phone message only causes intense headache!!!! . Actually your services suck!!!! You advertise the truck for 39,99 $. I ended up paying over 130 $for your stupid truck that was not in the best condition. Had a reservation for the Michigan rd store and my truck was not there and no other trucks were available. Drove 25 mins to another store where I was given and 26 foot box truck instead what I had reserved. I was told I was getting a 50 $discount from the attendant for the inconvenience and it WAS NOT reflected on my bill. Very displeased with my experienceOTIS P.

Trying to call after hours is terrible. Trying to get a hold of someone took over an hour. We were on hold waiting to talk with someone to tell them we dropped the truck off but had forgotten to take a picture of the odometer and all they told us was to call them the next day. We tried calling them 5 min after they opened and were on hold for about 10 min before we finally hung up. We did get notification that they received the truck but it was later on. I think they cold make better instructions on what to do when returning the truck and let the customer know where the drop off box is for the keys. It's not like it is real obvious. The guy at the rental place was nice when we dealt with him,BRIAN R.
