Promises made on reservation were not kept. No dollie or even blankets. I turned in truck after using for 7 hours driving maybe 35-40 miles. Your employee took my key and then didn't check me in . I received calls saying it was lost. I expect some refund as I paid 110 $for a ten foot truck and was originally quoted much less something like 50 $and then 99 cents per mile. When I arrived to pickup the truck they had no knowledge of my reservation. I was lucky to get a truck at all. Girl who I talked to on the phone on 6-20 was argumentative and rudely hung up on me . It was totally unnecessary if she had listened to what I was saying and allowed an explanation but she jumped me saying I told you their would be no more extra charges. This was earlier said but I was bringing up another issue as she told me without the keys they could not check me in . Again I had the truck from 930 - 4 on 6-19-21 and talked to this rude girl on 6-20-21 . No patience no kindness just argumentative and rude!Brian B.

I reserved a 6X12 trailer 30 days in advance of need. Of course once again uhaul screwed me over and only had a 5X8 trailer. So I had to make DOUBLE trips to haul everything. This location never blinked . it is what it is want it or not. no help at all. Second time in 2 years Uhaul has hosed me over on a rentalPHILIP B.
Although this location was excellent in every way, the FIRST LOCATION - on Lafayette Rd., did not have my 5X8' enclosed trailer available EVEN THOUGH I had reserved in a week in advance. They told me "even though I made an on-line reservation for it, I HAD TO STOP BY IN PERSON TO MAKE A RESERVATION THAT THEY KNEW ABOUT." This is unacceptable...STEPHEN F.

I ordered a truck and was not given a walk thru, along with poor customer service, I was charged for gas when i put 25 $and only drove the truck 39 miles, also started raining in 95 degree temps and rolled the windows up and the truck fogged up on us at about 45 mph went to turn on defrost and NOTHING! Almost hit a tree and ran off road by the time we got stopped!! Tried emailing about a refund but no response from store or corporate.....Robert G.

Tuesday I made a reservation to pick up the truck at Uhaul neighborhood Dealer, 5812 E US 40, Plainfield, IN. On the phone the proprietor said he opens at 9:00 am. Thursday I was there at 8:55 am but he was not. 8:30 he was still not there. I called and left 3 voicemail messages and have still not heard from him. My truck was there but I could not get it. I drove to the Uhaul located at 5245 W. Washington. Fortunately they had a truck on site and were able to were release it to me. Thumbs up for the people at the 5245 W. The truck that I got the check engine light was on the air condition didn't work and I didn't realize that until after I pulled away and was halfway to my destination when I got back I tried to explain to the lady at the counter that it didn't work she didn't really seem to care very much oh and did I mention it was a 90 degree day so it was pretty sticky and inside of the truck stunk and you can tell it hadn't been cleanedJOHN Y.

Inform the customer of all changes you are making, originally tried to rent the truck on Saturday for 24 hours got a call saying not available on Saturday instead come get it Sunday at 4.30. Agent on the phone only mentioned the pickup time being changed so I assumed my 24 hour window was still applicable, until I picked it up and found out I only had it for 15 hours which lead to a very stress fill move that we managed to not get everything over we needed to due to having to return it early. Couldn't extend the time due to the truck already being booked out. I understand I was getting a truck on a busy moving weekend, but a heads up during the call letting me know I'm not getting the full 24 hours I asked for would've been nice and at least let me prep mentally for it (like have helpers readily available as soon as I picked it up instead of when they could make it).Scott S.

This is my first time renting a truck ever, and it was also my first time renting from Uhaul. I wish that they would have equipment inspected on a more regular basis than their usual schedule. The truck I rented as soon as I turned it on had dash messages that popped up. I understand the equipment is being reserved and utilized regularly, but they inspect the returned equipment regularly; it would be efficient to get things taken care of at this checkpoint than anywhere else. I had a tire blow-out, I don't mean flat; this tire blew out going 75 mph on the highway; the situation could have been a lot direr had it not been for my quick thinking and applying the hazards. I hope they read the part where checking the equipment and fixing issues regularly will minimize these incidents.JOHN S.

I was given a drop off center 2,3hour to my house. I asked for Washington Street Indianapolis, you gave me Washington town Indiana. You thus charge me 31 $for dropping it near my house. You need new employees. When we went to pick up our trailer the guy running the desk was extremely rude and short with my wife. I'm shocked with how he was acting. And when we took the trailer back they wanted us to park it in the same spot. The lady that was I guess watching us hoped up on a trailer to sit and play on her phone. They parked a truck a car length in front of where I was supposed to park it and instead of helping by moving the truck so I could parked the lady acted like I was unable to park a trailer started talking about me like I was a moron and had us drop the trailer where it was. I was then directed across town at the end of business hours to a dealer that didn't exist. At this point I drove to the closest dealer and got lucky that the truck I needed just drove in. The online pick up and drop off is confusing. The marked truck said the truck identification would be on the left hand side of the truck on the bottom left hand corner. It was definitely on the back of the truck on the top right. Then at drop off there was no clearly marked place for the keys.
