Tires were worn and showing cord! Tiedown straps were very frayed and hard to use. Facility a bit hard to get to since you can't make a left when coming from the south and can't make a U-Turn at the light. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful.

Please, check and be sure that the Gass is full before the person leaves, because the one I took wasn't full but I have to fill it at the end of it. And that wasn't cool with me. And it was dirty too. Apart from that, everything is okay. I like the van.
benjamin larbiMy reservation was cancelled and vehicle rented to someone else because the clerk thought it was for the previous day (it wasn't). When I arrived I was given a vehicle which was blocked in on the lot by two other trucks. I was handed another pair of keys on the fly and the gas level and mileage were incorrectly entered so upon my return I was charged an additional $40 for the 9 miles I drove the vehicle. Unprofessional and frustrating.

I called back immediately and was told by Mike M that he hadn't bothered to search the lot to verify whether my trailer was there or not and rang me up for another day of rental because I didn't answer the phone. I also suckered for preregistration only to have to still provide DL and CC before getting the trailer. UHaul staff and corporate policies can't be trusted.

Tire indicator light was on and told to disregard because they just changed the tires and messed up the sensors. One windshield wiper wasn't working. Had to have two transactions because the attendant didn't notice them sitting on the counter. Didn't feel like I was an interest to him rather a transaction to get out of the door to move on the next thing.

Jane JohnsonThe agent rushed me through the process, spoke very fast. It was a cold morning and the windshield was frosted over, there was no scraper in the truck that I could see. I was instructed to let it warm up for 10 min so I just waited for the heat from the blower to melt the ice. Was hoping the truck would have been started up and warming up for me when I arrived. But maybe that's too much to expect. Gas tank was only 7/16 which makes it difficult to bring it just to that level. Having a full tank at the start would make it so much easier. I overfilled it before I returned it. Not even a thank you for that when I noted it upon my return. Should I need a UHaul again, will likely go to a different vendor.

Pia LandrumWhen I made my reservation I said that I would drop the truck off at the same location. When I picked up the truck, I was asked if I would be willing to drop it off at another location for a reduced price. I was told that the reduced price would be just the price for the in town rental and the other fees would be waived. I drove 5 miles from this location to my apartment and then to my house. I drove another 15 miles to bring the truck back to the other location requested. It was after hours so I had to do the self drop off online. I was being charged for 2 gallons of gas. I explained in the comments that I was told this fee would be waived and submitted for review. A few days later I received an email with a receipt that I was charged for the gas without any response from U-Haul regarding my request for review since I was told those fees would be waived. Incredibly frustrating that I was told the fees would be waived and then was charged for gas that realistically was used to bring the truck to the other location. I absolutely will not ever agree to anything other than what I reserved in the future.

jeffry salzbrunTruck I was given was UNSAFE to drive. Oil light kept coming on and truck would barely accelerate along with other problems. Made it around the block to get another truck and employee was extremely rude and had an attitude. I asked about getting a discount for having to deal with the issue and losing time on my rental and was told "well I'm giving you a new truck so that should be enough". I would expect her to do that since the one I was given was unsafe. If she would have made me keep the original one then that's an entirely different issues. A very concerning one at that.

However, Olivia said that they were aware of it and a part was on order. Maybe the truck should not have been rented if the light was inaccurate? Doug MillardYour gas prices are extremely high, compared to the gas prices in the area. I had difficulty getting to a pump because people kept ignoring the fact that I was waiting for a free pump and would cut me off, so I brought the truck in without putting gas in it. When I found out that U-Haul's gas price was more than $2 above the already high prices in the area, I had to get back in the truck and try a different gas station. That was inconvenient and irritating, but not the fault of the location or person at the site.

Richard JewettIt's a drop off facility. I scheduled a wait appt for the afternoon. They called at 9am the day of to tell me I need to drop off at 9am. I was not awake, I work nights, the afternoon apt was scheduled in the afternoon for a reason. This could have easily been dealt with by having an appointment confirmation before the day of the appointment. It was scheduled weeks in advance. I wandered around for 5 hours since they do not have a waiting room and it took longer than expected. I assume the hitch will work.
