We arrived to the wrong pickup location but the U-Haul employee there promptly took care of transferring our order to their location so we didn't have to move to the other location

Levi C.My entire contract was rendered completely incorrectly, and I was subsequently overcharged by 100 % of the original quote. I still have not had this remedied, and they also put the wrong driver name down even as I gave them my driver's license.
James J.The right side window of van was smashed. The check engine light was on. It smelled like pee in the cargo area. The street directly in front of the location was also closed for street paving shortly after we left with the truck and the associate at the store did not inform us that that was going to be happening, which made getting back to the location to return the truck later that evening difficult.

ROOSEVELT B.The storage area of the truck was covered in dust and dirt (discovered this when I got home with the truck). Charged for 2 gallons of gas when in fact I returned the truck with the same amount of gas as when I'd picked it up (perhaps even a little more)!!

When I returned to the location to check if they had found my wallet the person working said he didn't see anything and that he checked the truck. I asked to let me double check the truck myself. When I did I found my waller but all my money in cash was missing. It is a shame the person working at this location stole my money

Equipment was not staged with the truck, which I picked up before the store opened, so my move was delayed an hour until someone else could go pick the equipment up. Truck was staged boxed in by other trucks forcing me to drive over two curbs to get out of the parking lot. Customer service at the store was nonexistent

RAFAEL S.I would recommend for the ease of getting in and out, proximty, inventory,and avalibility. The truck, however was a filthy schievy rat trap. i felt like the 2 showers werent enough to cleanze me. Ashes from cigarettes, the bottle caps, the sticyness and the general filth of the truck led alot to be desired. The truck drove ok, but if I had to go over 40 I don't think it would drive correctly. I only had to go down the street, which the truck served its purpose. The representatives inside who assisted me were fabulous, I cant say enough about them, they were more than expected. But the thing that made me irritaed, not as much as the filthy disgusting truck, was the fact that I reserved 2 hand trucks, only one was available. But that being said the uhall did make things easire, but would not rent again if the issues were the same.. Except for the nice employees!!

Brittney F.It's necessary to see the videos on U-Haul website which helps customers easily rent equipment but I had a problem with the $25 discount if I return the truck to U-Haul moving and storage of Camberland, on my phone I got the discount but it was not actually applied and your staff present at U-Haul Providence tried to call the costumers service who offered to cancel everything and redo the procedure but it's the same

That was the only problem with the u haul

ALEXANDER C.The overall costumer experience with this Uhaul location was unsatisfactory. Several factors took place while trying to check out a truck. 1. The staff was not doing their jobs. A couple of them where outside playing kick ball while there was a line of costumers waiting to be seen. 2. The truck was not properly maintained. The truck wasn't clean and it smelled like cigarettes. 3. Inside the store, the staff was not professional. Overall very uncomfortable experience and recommend a training session to be improve the quality of the establishment at that location.
Thomas B.Dropped off and waited to tell the one person there. He was having a private phone conversation and kept waving me off to just drop the keys and go. Asked for documentation of drop and receipts. Said he'd email them. Never got them. Needed more packing supplies but seriously, why bother him? Went to Harbor Freight and spent over 300.

Kyle D.I am a frequent renter and although the service is good and I like the staff, I find the vehicles poorly maintained, and never clean. The windows Are always filthy, steering wheels feel grimy, NEVER windshield washing fluid, floors are dirty and so on. I'm not sure who's failure that is, but it does not reflect well in U Haul.
Verity D.Simply put. Staff was slow & ineffective. Seemed annoyed to have to show up to work, then wasted customers time in the store to have their own coworker conversation. Literal trash of customer service I've experienced. Overpriced and they didn't deliver even basic customer service. Trash. I'm gonna tell everyone to support private movers. Then yall want to nickle & dime peeps on your own trash??? Do better!!! Highly dulled out by yo trash vibe. 藍

Marivel G.Location is convenient to the city. Showroom was clean. Staff was kind and efficient. App/ self check-in out was difficult and bothersome- had to go in and get the staff to help. Van was disgusting. Full of cigarette smoke smell- old clothes and OTC meds from previous renter... Steering wheel sticky. Gross. Vans were parked so close together, I was unable to do a walk-around before getting in. It was almost impossible to get in the van. I did not complain. I should have, but the nice gentlemen at the store probably had nothing to do with any of that- as I picked up the van around 8am. And the last thing people need is another person complaining. Return was easy and friendly. My helper was unable to ride with me in the Van as the smoke smell was so bad, his having breathing and allergy issues were not something we would want to consider triggering... He followed me in his own car for support. I would rent from you again- I know these are some of the things to expect... no surprises... was hoping it would be better...

Ramon L.The gas was only 3/8 full; in my opinion it should have been at least 1/2 full. It was snowing and sleeting, but the truck did not have a scraper which delayed my departure the next morning.

CLEMENT M.The tank was nearly empty when I picked up the van. I was told by the attendant if I put a quarter tank of gas in it I would get a $20 credit. I was concerned the van would run out of gas, even though my move was just two blocks away. It was frustrating to have to stop for gas first when I needed to get my move done. I suggest you put gas in the vehicle.
Alison C.Rental did not go as planned: Reserved 17' truck. Was later informed one was not available. Customer Service Rep put me in a 15'. Arrived onsite & told the 15' was a "one-way" (not inter-city) & will cost more. After much effort, a truck was found for me. While I appreciate this, the process took nearly an hour. The truck was in pretty sad shape.

AARON W.I called about this today so you should have the notes and I was told I would get a phone call from the branch manager. The pick up was scheduled for mobile pick up which was far from that since the truck was blocked in. The back of the truck was filled with debris from the last person that had used it as well. The truck was dead after I loaded it all the way to the back and I had to walk to get jumper cables. When I went to drop the truck off an hour earlier than scheduled the mobile drop off just created even more frustration. It asked if I had any problems I checked yes for electrical and it never asked what the problem was. But when it asked about the cleanliness of the truck I had to provide two pictures. I didn't have time to take the pictures especially since I had just taken 3 prior to this step. So I said no thinking they would just know to clean it but instead I saw a 25 dollar bill added to my receipt. I didn't have time to do anything about it yesterday but I have time now. I've rented from uhaul a number of times and this was by far one of the worst experiences I've ever had.
