It opens at 9, I got there at 8:45, there were a lot of people outside waiting. I did express check in. The man opened the door at 9am, he was there working alone with a line out the door. The place was dirty, unorganized, didn’t have the mattress cover I ordered online and I waited in line for an hour before I was waited on. I took a picture of the line and texted the manager and he sent me a text saying 2 people were on the schedule....horrible experience. Truck was dirty. I was charged $79 at first and that was for use of 6 hrs & 30 miles. I only did 17 miles, I was charged an additional $20 after I brought the truck back. Getting the truck at 10,6 hrs is 4pm, the return time on the paper said 3pm. Worst location!

Apparently their system had malfunctioned the previous night, so there were issues getting us our truck on time (finally got one 1hr late). But the staff was consistently composed and gracious, especially when we were late returning our own truck. They made the experience worthwhile despite the other obstacles.

Check engine light was on. Probably because the fuel filler cap was worn and hard to tighten. Not a big deal, but you asked... Also, This has nothing to do with the location, but GM cab is a difficult fit for a large driver. Ford was better.

There was a nail in the first van we got. I realized it said "low tire pressure" when I started the van. An associate was more than happy to help us with this issue before we left and he found a nail in the tire! He switched our van immediately :) But I had noticed on the keys he gave me, it already said "change tire", meaning someone knew about this issue but didn't yet change it. Furthermore the second van we got smelt awful. TLDR customer service was amazing and friendly, the actual vans may need a checkup.

The gas tank was partially filled, this should be like a rental car and be full when returned, so you don't have to guess how much to put back in, we just filled it up. I rented a 15' truck to move my daughters from their current apartments to their new apt in MA. For the miles on the vehicle it ran well and had no problem maneuvering through traffic. My daughter and I returned the truck late and my daughter inadvertently left her purse in the truck. We called the next morning and Rafael had her purse under the counter intact. They appear to be short staffed at this location, but Rafael hustles around to get things done.

Disorganized. Gave me hanger bars for a wardrobe which were longer than the wardrobe. Lock on vehicle did not work. Had to buy a new one.

The general manager on that day did fine, friendly guy and he took his time with the customers even though he was short staffed because of employees calling out (hence only average).

Cargo van was dirty, the previous renter left sand in the cargo bed. It wasn't swept prior to my rental. cat hair on the seats, and had only 1/4 tank of gas so I had to put gas in before and after I rented it. I rent 10-15 vans a year and this was the worst. The new crew is not getting it done.

I tried calling Uhaul about my experience but no one would take responsibility. This was an awful experience that ended up costing ME more money. I bought the parts and scheduled the install, got a confirmation, took a day off of work and showed up to learn that the location did not have the parts because CORP schedules the install, not them. IT WAS CONFIRMED BY YOU. AND WAS A WASTE OF MY TIME. I was told to come back the next day, it was CONFIRMED AGAIN by YOU, I showed up and the location wasn't ready and had no idea. So I waited for 4 ADDITIONAL HOURS and ended up having to take ANOTHER DAY OFF OF WORK to wait for it. This cost me: the price of the parts + install + two work days + two taxis back and forth from Uhaul. I called your 800 number -- the one I booked everything through to try to understand and was told that it was a location issue not a corporate issue. You know who that really effects? Neither corp or the location but ME. Take responsibility and do something to fix it. I was not given any reimbursement or discount after having been CONFIRMED for two days in a row. Waste of my time - will tell everyone I know to go somewhere else.

Please place an easily to find drop box for truck keys so when customers drop off the truck after hours via online/app. This location specifically did not even have a dropbox for keys.

Very disappointed I couldn’t rent a truck for 24 hours. I couldn’t rent a truck for as long AS I NEEDED THE TRUCK FOR. I can’t believe I had as much trouble over renting/ keeping a truck.

i was satisfied with the Truck. But your customer service suck! He communicate to me that my credit card was going to be charge 38 dollars (my daughter heard it too)and my card was charge twice $34.08 + $30.23. Please tell where did the charge of $38 went? I call customer service the 800# and person on the other end of phone is telling me “I quote” Oh your the total amount of the rental is $64.31 and one amount will drop off in 5-10 business day. ( I am not upset with the man on the phone) How did it jump to $64.31, from the person in the store “I quote” telling me my card will be charge $38 because I get $10 free in mileage? Until I happen to look at my card later on in the day and see that my card was charge twice, “ two different amounts I might add”. Please advise? I will be waiting to hear from someone...Thank you!

The first gentleman that got us in the husk was great. However the two kids that were working at drop off time around 5:45, were very rude, not attentive, and made us feel very uncomfortable. I wouldt rather go a few miles up to the Pawtucket location.

I have been using uhaul for years including a cross country move. It’s been great and important to note that as a single woman in have never, ever had a negative experience with any uhaul staff. Friendly and helpful. Nice people!! Thank you.
