You promised me a truck at 8am (self-pickup). An email indicated this was GUARANTEED. There were at least 10 trucks on site. Customer service told me "the truck you reserved did not get returned by previous customer". I waited for an hour and then the staff proceeded to help another customer who showed up 5 minutes before openig. Uhaul made a stressful day that much worse. Terrible way to operate.Jennifer B.

I used mobile pick up service but my assigned truck was assigned to someone else as well, so I needed to see a representative to wait for a new truck assignment, which took longer than usual. I've also rented a dolly with the truck and it was old and bent, so it was difficult to use.jisoo L.

There was a very large disconnect when altering the order - I talked to a rep who confirmed I had a two day rental, but when I got to the Providence U-Haul rental building, half of the order wasn't there (the counter Rep saw only 1-day rental, no return address, then after altering the rental, I ended with 4 days versus two). I ended up paying for 4 days, also got charged for extra miles, and have not received any indication that I am getting a refund. Overall, not the best experience for a company that should pride itself on customer satisfaction.SCOTT R W W.

I sat in my truck in the designated drop off spot for 25 minutes, and at that point an employee walked straight past my truck, which was first in line, and started checking out the next truck. At this point, I used the self return and dropped off my keys. Absolutely disgusting service by your company and I will make sure that every person I ever know who needs a truck will never use your company.SAMUEL O.

I have copd and Emphysema and the pick up truck I rented smelled of freshly smoked cigarettes. Truck interior was filthy. Truck tire pressure monitor system indicated low tire pressure in rear tire. As if no one cleaned it or checked for mechanical safety prior to my rental. Thought it was ironic the clerk took the time to show me where the roadside assistance number was. Also something was rolling around the cab the whole ride behind the seat. The initial viewing of the vehicle was surprising as to the amount of damage on the passenger side with less than 26000 miles. Of course I took pics as to cover myself as I also included the insurance so I didn't get charged for damage I didn't do. Yet it was convenient. Roy SrROY D.
