Pick up/ drop off was not full contactless as expected. I still had to enter the facility and physically pickup/drop off the keys. I was also told that I could extend my rental time free of charge as long as it was returned by the end of the day. I still wound up getting charged for an additional day. Partial resolution took a few days where I had to visit the store and handle in person (no one answered the phone). The rep refused to refund me the extra day for the cart. For some reason she believed I wasn't charged an extra day even though the invoice sent to me via email and my bank account showed that I was. Communication doesn't seem to flow very well at this facility.

My overall experience with UHaul was very dissatisfying. I reserved a UHaul trailer a month in advance and was reassured it would not be an issue because I was booking so far in advance. I was given less than 24 hours notice that my trailer would not be available until the late afternoon at a location 45 minutes away from me so I had to change my trailer size to pick up my rental at the desired time. When I got to the store to pick up my trailer, my furniture dolly wasn't available either. There was no accommodation whatsoever and the customer service at the pickup location was very poor. I won't be using UHaul for future needs.

Check engine light went on a block from the rental location. I waited on hold for an hour total before I could get reassurance that I would not be charged for any potential damage arising from this warning light being on. Also I was charged for moving blankets and never received any.

Pick up times via the counter can be slow, especially if customers ahead of you have not completed any online reservation/check in. I came to the location having completed the online check in, just needed keys, and I waited 30 minutes for three (3) customers to be processed ahead of me by two (2) customer service personnel. I recommend a separate express line for those who complete the online check in process. I have tried using the "full" online process, but have have had limited success with the process, some good, but more often bad, usually based upon time of rental pick-up (evenings, off hours) and found it cumbersome and prone to app errors either due to connectivity issues (poor cell connection) of system errors (system generated loops because system detects errors in information which are actually correct). Addtionally, too long of wait times waiting for customer service agent to engage on the phone when problem is encountered. When the online system does not funtion properly, it is very difficult and frustrating since getting an online agent can require lengthy wait times on hold.

When I originally arrived the truck I had reserved wasn't available. Apparently the person who had it had not returned it on schedule. The staff was EXTREMELY helpful in getting this resolved in a very professional and efficient manner. I have had this experience at other UHaul locations as have never had the staff be so helpful! I would HIGHLY recommend this location for their service and professionalism!

Everything was fine except the open trailer I rented was dirty with leftover bark in the bed. The bark looked to be decaying so it seemed that it had been there for some time. Why do they not clean out the trailers if they come back dirty? I find it very lazy.

Cheryl(?) was great. smooth process despite UHall computers down/slow. BTW - your mobile application really needs to be improved. I went thru 3 pages of on-line check in, added my DL photo and then I couldn't click on agreeing to the terms - therefore no on-line check in - maybe related to your computers being down - Anyway Cheryl the manager was great!!!

Inspection of vehicle • gas gauge wasn't half way full • right rear tire had a deep chip on sidewall • interior very sticky and dirty, seemed not to be wiped nor cleaned after last use (considering the Pandemic) and trash under seat. However took pictures before departure and upon return, reported it. Vehicle drove pretty well, slow up the steep hill but made it. Customer Service on site was spanky spontaneous when addressed issues before departure and then return of vehicle. Forgive me for not remembering y'all's names but both females were awesome with their customer service and I want to thank both of you for being THAT AWESOME! You are APPRECIATED! Til next time!!!

Can't think of anything that needs to be improved - I had requested a pickup truck, but they did not have one. I was given a van instead, which worked out just as well for what I needed it for. The staff was friendly, and despite several people being there to pick up vehicles or trailers, they were as prompt as they could be.

Not related to this location in particular, but UHaul in general. I had a reservation for a one-way to pick up in Redmond. The day before they said the truck was not available and my only option was an in-town in Bellevue. They changed my reservation according. The next day I show up and the guy was so rude and said he had no truck for me. Frustrated that my reservation didn't mean anything and that no one notified me of any issues, I called UHaul to find out what was going on. The guy at the counter refused to tell me anything besides "no truck, call number." Once I called the number, they didn't do anything for me besides sending me to Renton. Once arriving at Renton, they treated me well and helped me have a positive experience with that particular location, though UHaul in general I am really upset with now and am very likely to insist to others to rent trucks from elsewhere.

The customer service received by one person at the Redmond location was awful. I had my truck size, drop off and pick up location all changed two days prior to my love. I had my reservation online for 8 days before hearing about this change. The second representative i spoke with from the Redmond location was much more helpful. The Renton location was fine. However, I was told there were no 26 ft trucks in all of Western Washington (the explanation as to why my reservation had changed). However, when I showed up to the Renton location there was a 26ft truck there.

The manager is horrible. I dropped my trailer off on Sunday, they didn't check it in until Monday at 9am and charged me an extra day. When I received the email I called the location. The manager was argumentative and insisted the trailer wasn't there when she did the walk through Sunday night. I argued with her it was and said to check the cameras, I gave her my car info and she said she'd fix it. I stopped in after work on Monday as I didn't get any email stating she fixed it. She didn't and had left for the day. The younger gal fixed it and I was given a refund for the extra day. She did a great job, but the manager needs help in customer service.

Was a terrible experience. First off, my reservation was so messed up staring with a text informing me within 12 hrs of picking it up that I would be driving 4 hrs out of my way to get a truck. Took 3 hrs to fix it because people couldn't do their jobs passing on the reasonability. Finally was able to find a truck, but not the size ordered, ended up having to rent a trailer. Store itself helped out a lot, but ended up having to drive 45 min. out of the way to pick up and drop off, pay unnecessary tolls and stress instead of being able to drop off near my home. Though truck and trailer did the jobs needed, staff at Renton store was great, this is my last time ever renting from this company.

while it worked out in the end I had reserved a 15 footer and got a call the day before saying i was out of luck though I had reserved it 3 weeks before. The staff accommodated me with a 10 footer which worked out but only just so. The guy who called with a heavy accent was pretty abrupt in saying that others reserved before me and got my truck so the online folks and the actual bodies in the store seem to not communicate. The store was busy but professional and I was in and back within an hour. Perhaps hire folks in the call center who don't have such heavy unintelligible accents to do your phone work. the good scores are for the hard working folks in the store who were great, the unknown middle eastern guy on the phone would get very poor marks were they offered.

The agent was told that my trailer ball wasn't tight and he said it was fine and not going anywhere. I travelled from Renton to Lacey with an empty trailer and it bounced along the way. Upon getting to Lacey and we parked my vehicle, I couldn't move my vehicle and didn't know why my vehicle locked in park until I got to Covington where I found that the ball was almost off the hitch and the wiring was crimped under the trailer connection - this shorted out my vehicle and that is why I could not put into park and then drive again. I found out that it had blown out 2 fuses and had to have my wiring crimped and redone. Very unprofessional when I told him up front that the ball was lose.

I had a reservation to pick up a truck at 10:00 I waited in line over 30 minutes, I had to ask for the truck to be sanitized. It was clear they weren't planning on sanitizing it. The agent seemed annoyed that I asked for this. I didn't leave the uhaul station until 10:50 which was ridiculous considering I booked the reservation days before my pick up time. The truck was still dirty and there were even Cheetos behind the seats. I delivered it at 9:30 but the receipt shows 10:30. I will not be Renting from Uhaul again.

I used the app to reserve a truck at the location 2 BMI is from my house. The night before my pickup, I'm told I have to go to a location 8 Miles away, resulting in an extra mileage charge of $25. Either make the app work or tell people the app is only a wild guess as to truck availability.

The best service I have ever received from a uhaul location and I've been to many. Most are ok, ai haven't been to a really bad one but these guys were quick to get me checked in and out. Ill be using them from now on. And the restroom was WAY above standards. Very clean!

Sheila is fabulous as well as those who support her. It's a small store for the amount of volume but they find a way to give excellent service. I've been in their store frequently for supplies and specifically chose this store for my truck rental.

And they are super friendly while providing this excellent service. They maintain good safety protocols during this pandemic, and the entire place is very clean. This is the best U-Haul location!
