Pick up/ drop off was not full contactless as expected. I still had to enter the facility and physically pickup/drop off the keys. I was also told that I could extend my rental time free of charge as long as it was returned by the end of the day. I still wound up getting charged for an additional day. Partial resolution took a few days where I had to visit the store and handle in person (no one answered the phone). The rep refused to refund me the extra day for the cart. For some reason she believed I wasn't charged an extra day even though the invoice sent to me via email and my bank account showed that I was. Communication doesn't seem to flow very well at this facility.

My overall experience with UHaul was very dissatisfying. I reserved a UHaul trailer a month in advance and was reassured it would not be an issue because I was booking so far in advance. I was given less than 24 hours notice that my trailer would not be available until the late afternoon at a location 45 minutes away from me so I had to change my trailer size to pick up my rental at the desired time. When I got to the store to pick up my trailer, my furniture dolly wasn't available either. There was no accommodation whatsoever and the customer service at the pickup location was very poor. I won't be using UHaul for future needs.

Check engine light went on a block from the rental location. I waited on hold for an hour total before I could get reassurance that I would not be charged for any potential damage arising from this warning light being on. Also I was charged for moving blankets and never received any.

I was charged for two days instead of one due to a billing error. I called in and the person I spoke with could not help me.

Put no smoking sign, I think previous person was smoking inside, I could sense that smell.


Pick up times via the counter can be slow, especially if customers ahead of you have not completed any online reservation/check in. I came to the location having completed the online check in, just needed keys, and I waited 30 minutes for three (3) customers to be processed ahead of me by two (2) customer service personnel. I recommend a separate express line for those who complete the online check in process. I have tried using the "full" online process, but have have had limited success with the process, some good, but more often bad, usually based upon time of rental pick-up (evenings, off hours) and found it cumbersome and prone to app errors either due to connectivity issues (poor cell connection) of system errors (system generated loops because system detects errors in information which are actually correct). Addtionally, too long of wait times waiting for customer service agent to engage on the phone when problem is encountered. When the online system does not funtion properly, it is very difficult and frustrating since getting an online agent can require lengthy wait times on hold.

When I originally arrived the truck I had reserved wasn't available. Apparently the person who had it had not returned it on schedule. The staff was EXTREMELY helpful in getting this resolved in a very professional and efficient manner. I have had this experience at other UHaul locations as have never had the staff be so helpful! I would HIGHLY recommend this location for their service and professionalism!

Everything was fine except the open trailer I rented was dirty with leftover bark in the bed. The bark looked to be decaying so it seemed that it had been there for some time. Why do they not clean out the trailers if they come back dirty? I find it very lazy.

I rented a van one way online and was told it could not go one way. So ended up having to take a box truck the tires were bald and had no tried.

Cheryl(?) was great. smooth process despite UHall computers down/slow. BTW - your mobile application really needs to be improved. I went thru 3 pages of on-line check in, added my DL photo and then I couldn't click on agreeing to the terms - therefore no on-line check in - maybe related to your computers being down - Anyway Cheryl the manager was great!!!


The lady who helped was rude, wanted to argue with me about everything. I had to find my own truck out of many trucks. Did not understand why they did not have it ready for me.


Inspection of vehicle • gas gauge wasn't half way full • right rear tire had a deep chip on sidewall • interior very sticky and dirty, seemed not to be wiped nor cleaned after last use (considering the Pandemic) and trash under seat. However took pictures before departure and upon return, reported it. Vehicle drove pretty well, slow up the steep hill but made it. Customer Service on site was spanky spontaneous when addressed issues before departure and then return of vehicle. Forgive me for not remembering y'all's names but both females were awesome with their customer service and I want to thank both of you for being THAT AWESOME! You are APPRECIATED! Til next time!!!

Can't think of anything that needs to be improved - I had requested a pickup truck, but they did not have one. I was given a van instead, which worked out just as well for what I needed it for. The staff was friendly, and despite several people being there to pick up vehicles or trailers, they were as prompt as they could be.
