Be more clear about rental pricing and extra costs. I was charged for extras I did not ask for in my reservation and I wasn't told I would be charged for them until I returned everything.

GINA C.False advertising! It is unfortunate that Uhaul feels it is necessary to charge inappropriately by three means. One, the rental, two the mileage and three having the fuel replaced. Either build those charges into your advertised price or don't add on to your price. A $39,99 advertised rental, is not true. And, if the right equipment isn't available, there's no discount. Never again will Uhaul get my money.

Renting from U-Haul, packing ourselves but using their referral to pack the truck saved us thousands of dollars on this move.

Apparently I went one mile over so was charged $0.43, I know it is not a lot of money but I only drove from the U-Haul pick up, to my house, to my new house and then dropped the U-Haul off. I think mileage allotment should be updated. Also, I never received my fuel credit, I was told I would get!

MARK B.The warm greeting or smile has left this location staff a long time ago. I know it's not a restaurant but would it hurt to be a little outgoing ? My biggest brain challenge was I rented a small U-haul truck but added an appliance dolly to the rental. I picked up the vehicle, dolly and headed to the house. I guess my lack of U-haul knowledge was the truck I rented had no ramp. I would have thought as an employee "I wonder if this client realized this truck doesn't have a ramp to go with an appliance dolly ?" Also the truck with the ramp is also more expensive.. instant up sell. Nope, I got to drive home rack up additional mileage charge on a truck that I think should have had a more knowledgeable employee. The person that helped me, the GM, never said anything like "oh I'm so sorry for the misunderstanding" nope not a word except to tell me it's $10 a day more. Again I don't know if it's the location or the company itself but next time we do have other choices available.

Odin D.Hidden charges were 4x what we thought we were going to pay. 1st rental had broken vison in cab, so had to switch out. Signed no new paperwork when switching vehicles. Then was charge about $70 more than we expected to be charged for "mileage". What's the point of bringing back the vehicle with gas in it if I'm going to be charged for the gas anyway? Makes no sense. What a rip off.
Joshua K.The tires were worn beyond a point that I felt comfortable with. The unacceptable issue was that the chain for the rear was too short to operate-it was far shorter than the chain depicted on the U-Haul instruction video for the auto transport, which I watched several times before renting you Uhaul Auto Transport. I was forced to delay our schedule by quite some time in order to purchase two straps that would properly hold the rear of the vehicle down over the rough roads and construction zones interstate five in California. Those straps cost me $127,35 which was almost 170 % of the cost to rent the trailer for one day.

I had to ask them for access, when not one but 3 employees leisurely took their time moving their car show vehicles as I waited a few minutes. The facility is dirty and it would make sense with 3 ppl who just take their time doing almost nothing. There was a mixup by uhaul of my pickup location and the staff were not helpful. Which all coincided with the customer service number who basically did the same thing and pushed me off to someone else to someone else. What a waste of time having me drive all over town and not be helpful. Horrible experience. If I wasn't moving and needed your services that day I would have gone elsewhere. From this point forward you lost a customer. Thanks for wasting my time. Good to see staff being paid to do absolutely zero work.
