Upon immediately starting the truck I had to put fuel in it because there was less than 30 miles of range in the truck. Which is not acceptable. The fuel credit of 2,70 $ does not cover the 3,14 $/gallon of fuel I paid for to fill your vehicle. The lock provided with the truck did not function because the locking mechanism was bent out of shape so instead of casually loading the truck over the day I needed to load it all at once.IAN PATRICK B.

We rented from an actual Uhaul store. The only lights that worked on the trailer was the right turn signal and right brake. There were no running lights at all. It was extremely dangerous driving at night especially since the trailer blocked the bottom truck lights. We specifically asked the manager if all the lights worked before we left. We reserved an appliance dolly, but there wasn't one available when we arrived. The online reservation system didn't cancel a previous reservation although we received an email saying it was cancelled. The third party uhaul vendor called and asked if we still needed the truck several hours after the cancelled pick up time.KAREN A.

The lady manager didn't seem welcoming because she looked upset and didn't even smile throughout the whole service at the desk and that made me uncomfortable !!!!!! That's not a proper trait of a manager she has to do better !!!!!!Margaret A.

Improve customer service by being more transparent with add on fees and extra charges and also have more than one person waiting on a customer . It would speed up the time spent waiting to be helped... Also there needs to be a rewards system or discount system for small minority businesses in the local area. Covid has hit alot of small business hard and extra help from services like you guys would contribute to getting back our community and economy where it needs to be that way we are helping eachother grow and thrive freely.ASHLEY K.

Let's see if anyone reads. I am very unhappy with Uhaul. I reserved at a different location â€œguaranteed.â€ This location wasn't close to my house but the closest one wasn't guaranteedâ€¦apparently that doesn't mean anything. When I arrived I was told I was at the wrong location. My reservation had been moved with no notice! And, I'm paying by the mile and I had to travel 5 miles away. There was a truck there but it was reserved. During the drive to the new location I passed another uhaul location with trucks yet I had to travel to get mine. Not sure why I could be given the one on site and someone else travel to get there's. Not happy. I would like credit for the mileage paid to travel back/forth. I'm also going to review the significance of â€œreservation guaranteed.â€Dawn D.

You need to keep the staff members that issued me the keys to the truck and received the keys after I turned the truck in; I came there just to get a vehicle but they made my day better by their demeanor, enthusiasm and happy-go-lucky attitudes. Great service. The young lady that help me was very professional. She was the only one there at the time due to a co worker calling in sick. She helped the customers that came in, answer the phonesâ€¦.she was awesome. These ate the type of people that deserve promotions or raises immediately. She was cool under a stressful situation! I was wrongfully charged a gas fee. Although the tank was full and I had photo proof that the tank was full upon return. I called to speak with the store and was abruptly placed on hold twice and had to wait for over 40 minutes. I finally was able to speak with a representative who informed me that I should be receiving a call from them but I never received a call. This is by far the worst experience I've ever had with this company. I will never do business with them or refer anyone to this location ever.AALIYAH MICHELE H.

Upon return of the vehicle, I was told that I was going to be charged almost 70 $for not brining the uhaul back on a full tank of gas. I picked it up slightly above empty! I was also charged for additional mileage, which I was never told about. I was told to have the uhaul returned within 72 hours to the drop off location and would not incur any other charges.Kristi W.

Although incredibly busy(move in day near a college campus) this staff maintained a courteous and friendly attitude. Very unorganized reservation system. Need to figure out because it affects a lot of people and causes too much stress. Very unfair and manager was rudeAYAHREYAD E.
I got to my unit and there was a lock on it. I called and asked if they could remove the lock, 30mins went by still no one. 45mins I called back and they said someone coming right now. 30 more minutes go by and the manger called, They sold me a unit that was already reserved! Almost 2hrs wasted so I took the truck back. I was refunded for the storage unit but charged for the truck when I only used 2miKENNARD TYVAE W.
The entire experience from before the start was awful. I requested this 2 months in advance for my location that was a couple miles from my house. Day of I had to travel 30-ish miles just to pick the truck up because they had reservations on anything closer. As if my reservation didn't matter. Check engine light was on when I turned truck on the rep sent me further down the road to have them look at it. Ozzy said it was good to go because it was just an emissions sensor and erased it. After driving Bout 30 minutes the engine light came back on. We drove from RVA to Long Island overnight so I wasn't stopping anywhere on this route. Unless I had no choice. Turned the U-Haul in and was told that I should've never been able to leave at pick-up with a check engine light on and that it was against protocol. The truck wasn't cleaned before we got it. A blanket was in the back and a Pringle's can lid and crumbs in the front. The truck also wreaked of cigarettes smoke. I had to clean and sanitize and put an air freshener in because the ride from the store to my home made me nauseous. So you are welcome U-haul for derailing the inside of your truck. If I wasn't already running behind because if the check engine light I would have noted this at the beginning as well. Also, I have a decent sense of humor but Ozzy left me feeling slightly uncomfortable when he yelled at me for calling him sir then asked me if I would like to be called â€œma'am.â€ He then went into a story about his veteran status and his he didn't like to be called â€œsirâ€. I'm sorry but I do have manners a d I was trying to get his attention because I saw that he was looking fit me. I've been a uhaul customer fir about a decade and 4 moved but will not likely use uhaul again after this.SAMANTHA NICOLE G.

Great customer service, multitasked when multiple customers were waiting, and accommodated any request they could accommodate even if it meant extra work for them.
