While the location was fine I will never understand how U-Haul makes you go through the process online of choosing a pick up location and a drop off location as well as putting in your payment information etc. ALL FOR NOTHING! I went through and picked a trailer based on location that was closest to me However the evening before I was told that I have to pick it up at a different location. I probably would’ve picked a different trailer had I known this. The new location was not convenient and not in a good section of town at all. The people there were VERY nice and I appreciate their help. My second problem came when we went to drop it off at the designated Drop off location that we had selected only to find out that they weren’t excepting drop all of that size. No one informed us of this and we were told to take it to another location over 10 miles away before I called to find out why. We have been traveling all day and the last thing we want to do is go on additional 20 miles round-trip out of our way. The whole thing with a complete nightmare in my opinion and I’m very disappointed w U-Haul. Upon drop off at new location there was no one there to accept it and I was leery of leaving it. Overall very disappointed with U-Haul and not sure that I will ever ever rent from U-Haul again

Overall went well just did not have the trailer when I arrived to get it — still out with another customer but fortunately customer brought it back early so no significant delay, although that was not obvious for 20 to 30 minutes.

There seemed to be all sorts of issues with our rental, although it may have been a computer glitch. What we reserved is not what our email said we reserved, which was not what the location said they had for us. Additionally, the window of time we had reserved it for had the same problem. It all worked out and we were grateful, but it was a little confusing and stressful.

I had an issue with this reservation not due to the facility or staff at the facility. My issue was that I'd made a reservation for a 10' truck because I needed a smaller truck to more easily navigate narrow alleys and parking but I received a 15' truck; and also I'd requested the truck at a location that was much closer to the move and move out locations but received the truck at a location that was 8 miles farther which is an issue because you charge per mile. Someone was supposed to call and indicate other alternatives if what your website indicated was available when I made the order was not actually available for me. When I realized that there were 2 different confirmation emails the last of which had the information about the different truck size and pick-up location, it was the night before the move and was too late to explore different options.

Even though I had to go out my way to get to this location since the one on Jefferson Davis hwy was rude and charged me for gas that was not in the truck I’m glad I did

I wasnt notified that I would be charged a $30 fee to pay $24 from a previous rental and I ended up spending close to $100 on a 17 foot truck for the day. The midlothian location didnt let me know how much I owed she just told me I couldn't rent from them. The man on belt Blvd was way more helpful in informing me of my balance but he did not mention the extra money I would be charged. Overall it was a mediocre customer service experience and I am extremely disappointed in my interactions with your employees

No review of fuel level for the vehical. When the staff said the vehical was good to go I expected the vehical was fueled for the trip.

When I was returning my rental vehicle, there was only 1 rep available to assist customers. Tamia Bacote assisted me and other customers. She was AWESOME!!! Great customer service skill sets. She had to deal with angry customers but handled things beautifully. However, it took me almost an hour just to return the vehicle. There were lots of customers on Tuesday, 7/31/2018.

This location was fine but the rental experience was really difficult. I was not given a pickup location until the day before the rental, and it was 30 miles from where I live. I called U-Haul and was given a closer location but that was changed again on my pickup day. Eventually, I was given another location but it became a one-way (and more expensive rental) because I didn’t want to have to drive back to the pickup location. In the end, the trailer was not where I was told to pick it up and we found another trailer close by and that’s where I eventually got the trailer.

My van was not ready by the requested time, and when I tried to pick it up using the mobile app, it said there was no equipment reserved for me. The number it gave me to call was clearly a personal number and it was difficult to figure out what was going on (kids crying in the background, etc.) Ultimately despite the store being closed, some employees were there who helped get the van ready for me, but it was probably at least 30 minutes delay after my requested time. Everyone I spoke with at this location was friendly and helpful, moreso just not a smooth process picking up my van.
