I found the online checkout difficult to use. I also tried to edit my reservation using my account and was very frustrated that I could not call the desk at the store and speak with a employee. Instead I was redirected to my online account which did not help. Finally I had a text conversation with customer support and then the conversation disappeared when I checked an email with my reservation information. I then had to restart another text conversation and finally solved my problem, but it was tedious to say the least. I feel that if I could have spoken with someone at the store my problem could have been taken care of very quickly. Needless to say I did not enjoy using my online account to handle my transaction.Erik M.

Was on hold for 40 minutes, so decided to drive over while still on hold. Person working there was not on the phone and not helping anyone and I was still on hold on the phone. Also, no way to lock the truck with the dollies onside. Dropped off after hoursAlexander K.
There was garbage from previous customers in the van. The two people working inside were very slow to provide service, and didn't appear to have any sense of urgency to help. Equipment return bay was completely full when we returned our van.Jillian S.

Every time I use the online reservation system, I'm being asked to complete multiple verification steps. This just started recently after my partner paid for a rental but asked me to drive. It's extremely inconvenient and cuts into the time we pay uhaul for the truck. Why not ask these questions prior to when we show up to pick it up? I also had a really dirty van that I rented on 5/26. The front seats were covered in dog hair and the back of the van had dirt everywhere. I didn't have time to swap vans but I'm really disappointed in the experience I've had over the last few rentals.Alexander M.

The back of the truck was dirty . I assumed it was clean but after leaving the lot if found the back had drink/beverage containers, multiple Cigarette butts, large clumps of debris and hair or fur - large clumps. It was very dirty so took the truck back and asked it to be cleaned.Monica M.

The truck had a tire pressure service light come on period leaving the location. It was slightly concerning. I would fix that.Matthew B.
I was not notified by UHaul Dispatch about having to pay a Multonomah County Tax at my assigned pick up location. I f I was told ahead of time, although I may have had to wait another day or so, I would have asked for the pick up location to be Clackamas or Clark County. The online check in process stunk - I'd have saved time just going in and doing it in person. Also, not having the equipment closer to me caused me to drive at least 2 times the miles I needed - which granted it was 20 $for mileage which equals the cost of the truck. The local staff at the office were really nice. Just wish I could have had a more convenient pickup location.Joseph P.
24/7 truck thing is a run around. Had to overpay for the truck as you can't rent it for a period of the day,only thr full 24 hours. Then when you go to pick up the truck you have to spend 10 minutes feeding a system info and waiting for approval which is not quick. It would've been more convenient to just go in and talk to the guy at the kiosk, which I had to do anyway to get my keys. This system sucked and im frustrated im out money and time because of what was marketed as the more convenient option.Conner J.

The general manager here was very rude. We asked to park our car while we rented a pickup truck (for about 2 hrs). Even though she was clearly pregnant and out of breath from it, he made her park our car in a neighboring business.jody J.
We were not told at check out that we had to correct errors on the contract. The initial contract incorrectly showed a full fuel Gauge. THE GUAGE WAS AT HALF FULL. I corrected this information through the phone app as directed but was charged anyway!Wendy H.

I reserved a pickup truck using the 24/7 option, but when I went to the location for my 8am reservation, I got a message telling me to wait until 9, when the location opened. It would have been good to know that I couldn't get the truck until 9 from the start. The saving grace was the fact that the woman working that day was excellent in every way. There were a lot of customers waiting on rentals that morning and she was going above and beyond for everyone.Kathryn C.
Horrible experience throughout. "Guaranteed" rental was rented out and not available for pickup. Price was 5x normal. Computer system was down for days. Nobody cared at all or helped. Just awful....completely awful. Incompetent and untrained....brock H.

I'm always so impressed with this location. Even with a long line of customers and just one attendant, the girl at the desk was so kind and friendly to everyone and kept things moving along quickly while still giving everyone personal attention. We always have an issue with our lights not connecting to the trailer that we rent. Every time the attendants actually take the time to figure out why and make sure we get it fixed and on our way. No other rental place is like this. You guys are awesome. Merci.HANNAH B.

My Uhaul broke down mid-move due to a mechanical issue from poor maintenance/upkeep by Uhaul. Uhaul gave me a very hard time about this and it was extremely difficult to deal with. It seemed like they were going to try and pin it on me until they realized that the truck's wheel simply locked up and I had noting to do with it. It was a fault on their own. Also, having numerous witnesses to the incident seemed to discourage them from pressing the issue. After the fact I never got a follow up call except to ask why I didn't return the vehicle and they claimed that I still had it...so much for a company having it together. I never got an apology or anything once, at all. They also proceeded to bill me the full amount of the rental with no discount or anything whatsoever...will never be doing business here again!JACKSON L.

While my transaction was a simple Appliance Hand Truck rental, I was still impressed with the customer service at this location. I was there on a busy Saturday morning for pick up and Sunday morning for drop off. Both of the customer service representatives that I encountered were friendly to both myself and other clients. Be more helpful overall. The employee working looked annoyed that we were there. And when we asked questions pertaining to the online check in not working, the employee just shrugged and let us keep struggling. The staff was courteous and helpful. I was able to reserve a vehicle easily with no issues. The staff helped me figure out which vehicle would be most appropriate and were very clear about how the rental needed to be returned. My whole life I've either owned or knew someone with a truck if I've needed one. A year 1/2 ago my father passed away and my mom had to sell his truck. UHAUL has been so good to me over this time.
