Scheduled a pick up for a 15 foot u-haul truck. Pick up was quick and easy. Equipment was clean and in decent condition. Drop off was via the U-Haul app took the longest, but was simple to follow. May want to inform clients if they drop off a haul after hours not to drop the key in the drop box until completely done with the drop off check list while using the app.Kyle M.

Good experience overall. There was a long line at pick up. The manager seemed disappointed when we confirmed we needed the full two day reservation, which was a little confusing. Also, the gas station down the street hesitated to put fuel in the truck because he said people have been cutting the fuel neck at that uhaul location. Our truck was fine but thought you should know... Thanks for the service.CALVIN M.
The person at the UHaul location was completely alone and incredibly frustrated and angry because the headquarters kept sending him people. This was no the location that I was scheduled to pick-up my truck from. When we arrived the truck was in the "central maintenace" key location because there was a check engine light on. The attendant had no idea why it was there and basically threw the key at us and told us good luck. We were driving the truck one way over 125 miles so we wanted to make sure that we weren't going to break down on the way after loading everything into the 15' truck! He checked the code and it was related to the catalytic converter but this was not something that should have happened. I received a notification a few days prior that my truck would be available to pick up at the location i chose and then was notified the night before that the location had changed. Why even notify me if that it's confirmed if the location could change anyways?! Frustrating. The online check-in didn't work for us because the truck was parked in by other trucks and then the mileage AND the reported gas were wrong but the attendant was SO busy that we just had to by pass everything in order to get going because he couldn't help us fix anything. Not the best situation for making sure you don't get charged any additional money.Rebecca B.

This place was an alternative found by U-Haul as truck not avail at the reservation location booked. Caused me to incur 40 to travel there and back as was 5 miles from where I was. Also caused me to be 1 hour late to start move causing me 50 extra charge by helpers plus added 10 miles to truck charges â€" U-Haul should adjust overall bill to adddress these expenses incurred due to U-Haul failure to provide reserved truck at reserved location and timedavid C.

I came in to ask a question because I didnt understand the uhaul share check in process and they were really rude about it. Eventually got my key but I was pretty uncomfortable by the way the employees were acting. Just be niceBrigid T.

Ordered a furniture dolly and a utility dolly, but they were not in the van when I picked it up. Had to return to pick up and they said they did not carry furniture dollies and would correct my bill after I returned. However, I returned after hours and no one was there to remove that 7 $from my billChris M.
Our experience could not be improved on. We had terrific service! It was professional, courteous, fast, informative and helpful. The truck looked brand new (it only had 9 283 miles on it). We drove the truck from Portland to Atlanta, Georgia. My son took it the rest of the way to central Florida. The truck performed well the entire trip. It was as comfortable as a truck loaded with household goods can be. We hired two men for two hours to load the truck from the U-Haul suggested list. It is not possible to improve the excellent job they did. They arrived early and were done before the two hours ran out.DEBORAH LEE R.

The customer service was great, but as usual the corporate plan is to make 3 people do the work of 4 or 2 do the work of 3. Stop intentionally understaffing your places. Employees should have slow parta of their days, not more work than they can possibly do. This is based on my experience in several corporate customer-facing jobs and based on the fact that when I needed someone at the counter, they were busy obviously doing other work (lile they came in carrying something and sweaty and I saw them stop what they were doing) and had to be interrupted to help me. This is a foolish way to run a business and wears out your employees. In other news, the truck I rented had quite a bit of minor damage without X stickers. I bought the insurance, but still took photos. The front bumper cover was damaged on both sides and front/center and was droopy, there was a cracked light housing and scrapes on both doors and both mirrors and behind both doors and on the box down low on the passenger side. You need more employees so that they have time to be proactive about things like that and to not be constantly busy. Also there is apparently no way to combine or delete accounts from the customer website. My phone number was tied to an old account, and I could not add it to my newer account because I couldn't remove the number from the old account and could not use it on the new account. My reservation was on my newer account. Also, I should be able to save my drivers license and not need to take a new photo of it or myself every single time I rent. If you want proof I'm picking up the rental, you should provide a kiosk with a camera that can be used with the app.WILLIAM SCOTT TH I.
Only the general manager working the place at the time. He did an amazing job, was professional , and did it all himself.....one man show. I waited a little bit for service and my truck wasn't ready because some Jack ass smashed out the side mirrors the night before so he made it right and I got a smaller truck which worked just fine. Worst Uhaul yet. I own a moving company and use Uhaul nationwide. Here=never again. They accused me of stealing while i was renting on natl corp acct. Then they said i was living in it homeless. I had hotel reciepts, dont live in OR or even close and was there on business. When i tried to show them this i was to shut up. I am stupid. They are the boss. Thats it. The two young ladies working the afternoon on Sunday, July 18 at the St John's location on Lombard in North Portland were exceptional. Customer service was amazing. The lady that helped me was really nice and very helpful. She noticed the gas was actually empty instead of 1/4 of the way full when she handed it off to me. She said she would change that info in the paperwork and refund me that money towards the truck if I returned it at 1/4 of a tank. Which she remembered and did! Well a few hr before I was to pick up the truck your company transferred my reservation to 24/7 witch fucked everything up it made me 2hr late for my appointment and I was transferred too 3 representative until one could finally get me a truck And because of the mix up they said they were going to give me a 50 $credit which I have never seen yet.
