Check Out the alignment this truck was shaky if you went over 50 that means usually it needs an alignment. Customer care personnel were above average, very courteous and informative.

I originally reserved my truck at the Brighton, MA uhaul location and received an email the night before saying the truck and equipment were GUARANTEED at 9 am the next day. When I arrived at 9 am, lo-and-behold, the truck was not there. I was told I could get a smaller truck or drive 30 minutes to a different location to get a larger truck. Really frustrating when you expect the truck to be there and it's not and you have to take a cab to get to another location. Just more money. They did give me a $50 discount, but that doesn't make up for the time wasted.

This was my first time renting a Uhaul, the owner was pleasant and helpful, I am pleased with my experience. I have already recommended to friends and will certainly rent Uhaul again

The pickup and drop was easy, however the people checking me out and in did not explain what other steps I needed to take directly on my phone to complete the process and as a result I had to call into customer service after the fact to complete my rental.

The Pickup was dirty when I took it, after returned it back , they reported me that they will charge me for the cleaning fee but I did not mess the car. They should have checked the war before me .

My after-hours pickup was not available on 12/22/19 (the employees "forgot" to leave a key outside in a lock box the day before). As a result, I was forced to stand outside in the 20 degree weather for 45 minutes until the location opened. When i finally got the van, it smelled like smoke and was visibly dirty with rocks and stains. Very disappointed with my experience here.

I arrived to a very stressed out, angry location manager (Jim Desmond) who yelled at me for parking in the wrong place and being early. He threatened to not give me my van which I simply rejected, pointing out I had a contract, and he eventually apologized. All of this arguing happened in front of his daughter who was on site with him and was helping him clear snow. I get that this guy’s life is stressful, and owning a vehicle business is hard especially the day after a snowstorm but the way I was treated is absolutely unacceptable. I could not change my plans and needed that van, otherwise I would have walked away.

The customer service in store was great. The staff at this location were more than helpful, kind, patient and understanding. I would definitely use them again. My complaint lays with customer service. The confusion and miscommunication amongst the staff on the other line of the 1800 # is horrible. They were nice, but didn’t give detailed explanations, said yes to things that were in fact true, caused us multiple trips for no reason. I understand Uhaul is implementing the truck share system and encouraging everyone to download their app, but their are a lot of bugs that need to be worked out that requires transparency to please the consumers.

Your billing system is a mess. The person behind the counter was a disaster. I waited an hour for him to handle two customers while 5 of us waited in line. You Held my money for 3-5 days for no good reason. I’ll go somewhere else next time and so should you.

General Manager was 'extremely' unprofessional and altered. Can not express my level of dissatisfaction. I called/contacted U-haul corporate customer service immediately after leaving the West Roxbury U-haul location to give details and file complaint. I've been using U-haul for 30 years and I have never had this poor of service. This location needs some serious restructuring immediately and I would not recommend using this particular U-haul.

I have rented from this location several times. However, this one was especially outstanding. The representative understood my needs changing, and allowed me 1 extra hour on my rental at no charge. Would definitely recommend again, and that employee should be rewarded. I will likely need your service again in January to move things out of a nearby storage unit. I was relocated to Brighton to pick up a 26’ truck The night before moving. When arrived there, I was told they have no 26’ truck. I spent about 1 hr on the phone with costumer service, with 7 phone calls, and they relocated me back to this location the morning after to pick up the truck, while my movers were waiting for me to bring them the truck to start loading. I had a similar experience last year. U-Haul does not care about costumers and does not respect their time and schedule. I am disappointed.

We were originally supposed to pick-up in Brighton but no trucks were available for a one-way. The customer service in Brighton was terrible, they did not provide a good solution and were very blunt and not service oriented. I would not recommend the Brighton facility. The service manager in West Roxbury was awesome!!!

One of the service people at this location, Jim was absolutely the rudest person I have met. I know he was busy but he took his frustrations out on the waiting customers, and was condescending. When I pointed out my vehicle was blocked and I suggested that since he was busy I would move it for him. He asked me in a condescend tone “Are you too afraid to go over the curb?” I pointed out to him that from his mood I was afraid to do it without asking in the chance that was against the rules and I didn’t want to make him more upset. Plus I was concerned that on might damage the van. He rolled his eyes at me and made a snide remark. Honestly I don’t think it was wise to tell a customer to drive over a curb into a very busy street.

Have blankets available when preordered. We damaged some expensive and cherished furniture because the blankets we ordered did not arrive in time. Service representative was understanding and did his best to round up a few from various trucks. He was quite apologetic. But apparently it was beyond his control.
