I was supposed to pick the van up before the place opened but the app did not work and I had to wait 40 minutes for someone to arrive. There was another couple with the same problem.

Juliette LoveFirst trailer had very strong gas odor and dirt/oil on floor, agent tried cleaning with solution, but it was very strong, was moving several boxes of clothes 1 000 miles and was afraid, they'd get ruined, when I got home the odor was still overwhelming, I called back and he told me to come in and he quickly changed out trailer, second trailer was terrific, thanks to your agent for saving the rental!

Richard ButtsI rented a pick-up truck. I was really disappointed that I had to purchase my own ratchet straps. This is essential equipment-and it's pretty unlikely that anyone renting a pickup truck would just happen to have ratchet straps. For $140, you'd think I could borrow a set. People renting pick-up trucks should be allowed to borrow ratchet straps.

They installed a front mounted receiver on my Jeep. No issues. I got under the jeep and checked the install. they called when complete. How often does this happen these days? Great job. thank you.

Caroleen SmileyTruck had several maintenance issues. Old and ineffective wipers that made the windscreen worse, right turn signal was blinking fast indicating a bulb was going bad. Battery was only about half charged, tank was only at 5/16 full. That being said, despite my initial concern that it wasn't maintained- the truck worked well and I was able to do what I rented it to do. All fees made it a lot more expensive than I thought it would be ($120 vs the $30 advertised) but that's my fault for not reading into the details. Site lacks parking so make sure you have someone drop you off rather than hoping to leave your vehicle there. App was overly complicated and time consuming to use, but staff was very nice and professional.
Erik BergmanYou guys were terrific. I needed a van with no advance warning, and you came through. Alexandria on the phone was terrific. The guy in the West Roxbury location, whose name I didn't catch, was incredibly efficient and helpful. Everything went as well as it possibly could.
David BrownAll possible charges should be disclosed to customer at time of rental. At the very least, UHaul is guilty of false advertising as they tout a $19,99 rental fee. I kept the vehicle and travelled less than 10 miles. I have not been emailed a final receipt, but unless the absurd additional charge of $8 is removed, I will file a consumer affairs complaint with the MA Office of Attorney General. At no time, did you disclose to me how you computed this charge. I did check the gas level upon starting the car and you are inaccurate in your estimate. How many miles per gallon does this vehicle get and how many gallons were added and at what charge? I will follow up. So you should also. No one likes to be taken advantage of. I will not rent from you again and will do my best to make certain others do not either.

SEAN MANSFIELDNot specific to this location, but the mobile check in process was terrible. Long wait, then I was assigned a truck that was blocked in so had to wait even longer, once I was reassigned a new truck, there were no instructions provided on how to retrieve the keys so I had to contact a customer service rep yet again. Took a very long time to get the truck initially.

Fred PeckI did not get the vehicle I booked. They gave me a smaller one which resulted in my moving plans getting spoilt. Customer care said that I could return back to the location and swap it out for the one I initially booked for but when I went in the morning, they did not honor that. They made me cancel my initial booking and made me pay the same money and made me another reservation. I paid twice basically, no refund or assistance has come so far. I demand an explanation and refund. Thanks, Kiran
