It should be told to every customer that gas tanks need to be refilled. And over $100 to fill up the 2 gallons i used is absolutely ridiculous.Summer I.

When I filled the truck up with gas after renting, I did not use as much as I bought. I returned the truck with more gas than necessary, ready to 'add to the profit' for the company. Truck was in rough shape. Serviceable but rough. Brakes were soft, steering was loose, interior was torn up and transmission shifted crazy. AND air conditioning fan didn't blow on highest setting.Ronald H.
Perhaps a larger problem for uhaul generally, but customers should not be able to reserve dollys and furniture pads if there are not any available. I was forced to purchase them from a Lowe's to $150 total because I still needed them to complete my move.Henry G.
They were over booked with drop offs. There were several people working but little to no direction on what to do. Cars were lined up in the road, on a busy road, waiting to get in. Little to no customer service. I was told to just hand over the keys and I could leave. They were just too busy.Tiffany D.

The only negative I would say is they didnt have dollies. The guys working there were all very nice and super helpfulBruce B.
There was good signage to help know where to drop the truck off. Sat in the truck a few minutes waiting for direction. Was told to leave keys in the truck and that's it. It was super easy but I was little leary leaving with no real confirmation or acknowledgment that it was there and back safely. Clean. Efficient checkin. Checkout, though a chaotic moment at the location, was easy since I was able to park and unload the trailer myself. Young man who was working (black male with a beard) was working very hard.Scott P.
I was yelled at by the person at the counter for wanting to be reimbursed for an overcharge upfront instead of after I returned the equipment. Have never been treated like that by a UHaul rep, or any other company's rep. I was then initially given a van with a broken rear door, fortunately a different team member was kind enough to help me get booked with a different one.Nathan S.

Was over charged for the truck rental and had to return it early. Poor customer service as well.Adam K.
The truck we rented was in incredibly poor shape. There were several times the truck jolted violently throughout our move. Truck struggled immensely to handle any sort of incline and power steering seemed to going bad (had to exert a great amount of force to turn the steering wheel when navigating tight turns). When booking the uhaul truck the person wrote my name down incorrectly and then I did not receive the email that finalized the transaction. I had to personally drive to the uhaul place to do this the day before. It was very inconvenient. Your people need to verify information given to them. Other than that it was all good.Goegine G.

The over all experience with uhal Everything was so automated. That helpfulness was nonexistent and I didn't get the right amount of blankets. They were just thrown in the back. I was told to read a text message and follow the directions. That is it. I was required to fill out an online check in. It seemed that uhaul wanted me to do everything and for the customer experience and service was put on the back burner. Very disappointing. This experience felt like, do the work for uhal, save uhaul time. Not, let me help you get comfortable with the equipment that you are driving over 7 hundred miles. Do you have any questions? Can I guide you out of this tight parking lot? Just normal Courtesy would have been nice. And made the difference. No pleasentry interactions beside the guys a d the counter in Nashville. Then it stopped after he gave me the paperwork.Richard C.
It took me a moment to see the cleanliness of the vehicle. While it was free of debris, it had sticky mess on the floor, toe and footprints on the passenger windshield and the driver seat was worn out. It would be nice to have these vehicles cleaned between used.Elizabeth S.

The desk attendant had no idea how to work the computer system. The guy who hitched up my trailer did not tighten the ball so the trailer fell off as soon as I pulled out of the location. When I called to return the trailer, they answered the phone, said hello, then hung up on my and would not pick up when I called back. I will not use this location againMatt W.

Rented a truck and was assigned a drop off location of Abbott ? on Charlotte Ave, which was close to my moving location. Arrived there after the move and this location does not allow truck drop offs. Called uhaul and was assigned a new location on 8th ave, 7 miles away. Arrived there and the extra distance but me over my max miles. Explained the situation to the manager and he assured me I wouldn't be charged extra. Got home and saw where my card was charged anyway. Don't understand why drop off location was assigned that does not allow drop offs and don't know why I had to pay extra.Robert Q.

The movers were very nice, but late. They also left halfway through the job for two hours. My vanity broke too.Cat L.
We made a reservation over the phone. We got a call a weekly later that our reservation accidentally got cancelled and they no longer had trucks the size we needed available. Only had a 10ft truck and a trailer. It took us 3x longer to move because of this. I asked repeatedly how to make this right since it wasn't our fault and the trailer was the only offer. It severely caused issues and we had come items that couldn't fit because the truck was so small (had one oversized piece which only could fit in a 20ft truck) and it was damaged in the process because the truck wasn't big enough. We also had to do 4 trips and resulted in us not even finishing loving till 2am. Terrible service by corporate to help us solve the issue. No discount offered. Very dissatisfied with how it was all handled. The guy at the shop when we picked it up was nice and did his best. It wasn't his fault.Trevor K.

I will never use this Uhaul facility again. I pulled into the parking lot the wrong way, drove around the building to turn around where a employee proceeded to YELL at me for turning around at the front, did my turn around and went and parked in the lot the correct way. Got inside, asked for the owner who was not there. Told the man at the counter about the heated argument and he didn't seem fazed by it. A minute later the guy from outside came in and proceeded to yell at me again, YES we were both in a shouting match. However, it was none of this man's business as to how or why I decided to back up the way I did. His insults were strong and un necessary. He informed me several times he WAS A MAN and that that was how he was going to speak to me. I felt threatened by him and felt that I was 100 % discriminated against. Got my truck 26', which no one walked me out to it for any details, got into it with volume full on playing music. The truck jars and pulled to the left, and the brakes squalled every time I touch them, they didn't work very well. I did call the owner to complain, I can say he was very understanding to my frustration with how I was treated. He did discount a day off my rental, which I appreciated. But the verbal assault I had been given is still left in my head and the feeling of being in a DANGEROUS SITUATION doesn't just go away.LORI S.

While I was checking in, Mr. Sweatt would pause for a long time to respond to text messages on his phone. It was hot, so he would also pause to mop his face with his shirt, exposing belly to me. The pauses and face mopping was awkward and unpleasant. When I came back to drop off the truck, nobody was in the dropoff zone. The sign said to wait in my equipment, but eventually I got tired of waiting and walked around into the office. There I found Mr. Sweatt and two other staff members watching videos on their phones at the front desk. I walked right up to the counter and had to say "hello" before anybody even looked up. The person right in front of me just kept watching videos the whole time. It was weird and poor customer service.Samuel A.
