This is the 1st Time I've gone here and had problems with the guys in the yard. It's usually problems with the office staff but the were good this time around. The yard guys were lazy and not helpful. I rented a tow dolly. Went to the back and waited for service to hook up. No one came. I mean I see the guys and one even walked right by me. I waved him down and asked to be hooked up. He took my paper and told me to go back inside and change it to another dolly because that one is way in the back. I said ok that's understandable. Went back in got it switched out. Came back got hooked up to another one and the light was out. The guy was like what do you want me to do? I can switch it out it's up to you. I opted to switch it out. Got it switch out and he said he would take car of the paper work of switching dolly numbers. We'll that never happened. So when I got back the lazy yard guys never came up to the truck to check me in and I knew the guy never did the proper paperwork as he said. So I got out and went up to them and asked them to check me in because my paperwork doesn't match my dolly number. They said nah it all good we got you checked in. So I said ok and went inside to get my receipt and the lady's says I haven't been checked in. Which I know was the case. I told her I did and bring it back already. The lady took my receipt and properly checked me in and gave me a receipt.NORRIS R.

I had to get someone to look at the truck it wouldn't move out of gear it cost me 49 to have someone fix it, I just rented a truck and I didn't have a problem but this rental was the truck from hellSHACOYA K.
I booked my 26' foot truck a month in advance with a location 5 minutes from my home only to get a text from you guys that the truck will not be available at that location and I would have to go to the Okeechobee location which is 35 minutes from my home which was inconvenient plus I had to pay for those extra miles...not fair by uhall i should get some kind of compensation for the last minute change...Ouri H.

The general manager runs a great operation. Every time I'm there renting something he is out helping customers. They are always well staffed and have great customer experience. I've rented U-Hauls from a lot of locations in my life and this is by far the most well run location I've been too, and consistently well run! I'll be renting again from them soonBernard H.
Nobody was helpful there at all. I walked in everyone was on their personal phones and when I needed to be attended they made it seem like such a hassle to hang up their personal calls during work hours and seemed like nobody knew what equipment was available or where it was. Had revived a charge for some insurance that was never mentioned to me Was told to go find my own trailer and hook it up had to grab a wire extension and when I brought it back nobody was there to help with the return either at one point my trailer was in the busy road still because nobody was attending anyone for returns Worst experience super unprofessionalLuis R.
the van I had reserved was not available. they have me a truck instead which was inconvenient for what I was moving. the truck also had mechanical error messages saying tire pressure testing failure or something to that extent. waited for a while for them to find a pressure gauge, check the pressure then manually clear the error messages. error then came up again during my trip which made me start to feel uncomfortable with the carCHRISTOPHER W.

The truck had a leak on the passenger side over the mother's loft. Several boxes were ruined and could not be picked up. There were no dollys available for rent. That is totally unacceptable,richard L.

- Provide clean equipment - Provide newer equipment for longer mileage rentals (mine was 375 miles) - Ensure cargo hold does not leak - Designate someone as being in charge when the General Manager is off - Have staff clearly understand who is authorized to perform certain tasks - Advise staff not to be laughing and joking around the area where a colleague is on the phone with a customer - Staff to return phone calls when they say they will - When on the phone with a customer, ignore others - Have staff memory checked. Two hours after spending half an hour in the office, the staffer had no recollection of any of the details discussed, or the notes she filed for the GM - Don't charge four times the daily rental rate for an extensionFrancis B.
You guys have in store what I need but your employee said you don't have it . My friend spy it on the shelf and not even a sorry was mention and it was something I was not going to ever use . This is the second time I rented from Uhaul and picked up vehicle with a nearly empty gas tank. While the person handling my Acct did give me a gas credit I think that when you pick up a vehicle you should be about to go more than 20 mikes without refueling!ROBIN B.

As I have stated on the pick up and the return electronic documentation. I received your vehicle unclean, not any fault to the employee attempting to clean the inside of the cab. There was a sticky unmovable substance all over the dash, cup holders, cubbies, and floor when I received the vehicle. Yet, I was charged a 25 $cleaning fee. This is completely unacceptable. When I tried to pick up the vehicle, your application kept crashing, and would not allow me to receive/view the lock code. So, instead of being a quick pick up process by supplying all my information prior to. I had to redo everything at the service desk.Hiram R.

The employee who assisted me in hooking up the trailer was not helpful at all. He even reprimanded me due to the fact that I forgot to install my tow hitch in advance. Instead of assisting me with a bent prong in the light connector, he disappeared while I was fixing it. He could make the company some money by selling a new connector to me instead of being helpless and rude to me.Rosebert P.

First we were told there was no truck for us, then they happened to have someone drive up so they gave us that truck. Then when returning the truck the woman yelled the system was down and to leave the truck so we did. We were charged with multiple fees and gas, but we filled up the tank before dropping it off. It was my first time renting a u haul. I reserved early, everything seemed great, they pulled the truck up to me, he gave me the keys and walked away. I turned it on and noticed that it read 33 miles until empty and I took a photo since I knew I had to put gas in it and it couldn't be below that when I returned it. After returning it I left the vehicle, I was told everything is electronic and I would receive an email receipt. When I opened up the email receipt after I had already left the facility I was charged an extra 66 $for gas. We went back to the location to ask why, because I had put my own 10 $of gas in the vehicle, and apparently the first contract that was emailed to me did not match where the gas tank was when I first turned it on to drive it off the lot. It was never explained to me when I signed the pin pad that I needed to look at the contract and make sure the gas gauge on the contract matched the gas gauge in the vehicle. Honestly I would assume that that would be correct if people were doing their jobs properly there wouldn't be a contradiction between the two. Also the person who handed me the vehicle should've gone through that with me as well. So you can understand my immense frustration when I found out I was charged an extra 66 $for gas when I return the vehicle at the same gas range that it was given to me in the first place. My initial interaction was basically like sign here on the pin pad go outside he'll bring the vehicle up to you, the vehicle was brought to me and keep put back in my hand and OK by there was no explanation of anything about extra charges or gas range or comparing the contract gas range to where the gas gauge is in the truck. Thankfully the manager returned my 66 $because I had taken that snapshot with a timestamp on it to prove where the gas gauge truly was in the vehicle when I first took it off the lot.ASHLEY S.

Have the representative behind counter more alert and with more desire to be there working. On Saturday I rented a trailer, when I was going to return it, the lady didn't want to go out with me because she was too busy on a conversation, well I got charge 2 extra days and on top of that, they didn't pick up the phone so I had to stop what I was doing on Monday so I can go there personally. The customer service at night was horrible. Got to the location at 7:40 pm only to be told that I had to go to the app the close out my ticket. I had trouble with the app the employee put us out because she was trying the close the store. By that time the app started working it was 8:05pm which charge me for another day. I made reservations for a 26 ft truck. When I arrived there was only a 20 ft Trucks available. I had to add more milage ,more trips, use more gasoline, pay extra money for the dolly rental because it took more trips. One good point was when arrived the power had just gone out and one of the rental women used her phone to complete my truck rental agreement which was really helpful.Philip S.

Was Ignored upon arrival by two U-Haul employees that were having a general conversation, had to ask multiple time for check out. System charged me for gas when tank was full, employee could not figure out how to remove charges, so I ended up paying the extra charges.Michael P.
First let me start off with letting you know that The first reservation I had y'all canceled on me last minute because you didn't have what I needed. That was pretty screwed up. My second reservation was at 10am a week later. I was there at 9:55. Stood inline for 57 minutes, just to sit in the parking lot for another 32 minutes to be hooked up. There were 3 people working who were busting their asses, and they had a great attitude regardless of what they were dealing with. UHaul, you don't deserve employees that you have. I really hope your giving them what they deserve because you guys can't get your crap together. Horrible situationMonique A.
