The issue was I rented a truck and set it up so I did not have to go inside and would rent it via my phone. Due to some issue with Uhauls website it didnt work out that way. I waited an hour to finally pick up my truck. I would never to to this location except this is the only one that actually has trucks in the area.

I received the keys no one checked the mileage and gas which was half of tank. I used 22 miles and was charged for 50 miles and I added 10 $of gas and still was charged for one gallon. Just do your homework when renting from this place on Okeechobee doesn't seem that they care. Extremely poor customer service.

I reserved a 26 foot truck and when I got to the location they told me they hadn't had a 26 foot truck in a month. I have my truck reserved for a week. If there was no truck for months they should've notified me before I got there to pick it up. On top of that there is no utility dollies to rent out either. Very unorganized and I will never use U-Haul again

front end damage and had lights taped to the truck. inside cab was filthy. tire had two nails in it on inspection. had to wait for over an hour at tire place to get tire changed. then U haul charged me an extra day because say I returned the car 55 minutes late - when in fact I returned it early because rental should have began when the truck was operable with a good tire. will call manager to have additional incorrect 19,95 $ charge deleted. Very disappointed.

Funny I was there at 7:00 a.m. to return my rental I handed the keys to the manager who was the only person there asked him if I could keep the vehicle for another day he said no that it was due to go out at 8:00 same with corporate 1-800 number. At that point I walked home. Only to get a phone call at 9:00 a.m. asking me when I was going to return the truck.

Everything was great, the only issue was the tire on back right side of the truck was 22 PSI so i almost flipped out when i thought that it a blow out. It turned out to be nothing but the vehicle should have been inspected better, otherwise the location and staff are great.

Better service with the equipment and tell your employees to stop complaining about the work that they supposed to get done. I will no recommend a friend because if I do she is gonna need to do the employees job.

By the time I returned the truck nobody was at the location, so I had to drop the key at the drop off box and nobody let me knew that the location it was going to be close at 5:30 pm. I wasn't there for the inspection now they are charging me for gas and I am completely sure that I left the tank with the same amount of gas that I received it. Something is wrong with the person that inspected the truck. I want a refund foe that money I was charged.

Originally MS Petroleum on Belvedere RD was my rented location, and they screwed me. This was the new location from scheduling, and they did great. Little lite on social skills there, but polite.

The experience was great especially when you have made reservations. So, I would urge each customer to make reservations. You are in and out within ten minutes. The staff is very professional.

I spoke with corporate 800 number several times before my reservation is swore up and down that they would hold my pickup truck. Course I got there and they didn't have it I wouldn't minded so much but to pickup truck was essential for what I was going to use the vehicle for I took the van and used it as basic transportation never did get my job done and then paid 84 $. Not really bitching about the price but I didn't really need the vehicle.

Terrible customer service. The two women behind the counter acted put out when I was asking questions. I was apparently interrupting their cell phone play time. Plus, the trailer hitch I was to have installed wasn't even on site.

Better service & organization. It took forever to get my truck this morning. Also when I returned I was charged for an additional 22 gallons. Now I need to go back and ask for a refund tomorrow. Please help.

Had appointment for a hitch and wiring package and they were unable to do it at this time. Made another appointment and job was done. Got home and fuse was blown. Went back and told fuse was blown and they replaced it. Went on a trip towing a camper for two weeks with no trailer lights. Fuse blows without even having a trailer connected. Called uhaul told them that the fuse is blowing with no load on it that something must be wired wrong. The manager Kevin told me to bring it in and gave me the date and time. After waiting there for 3 hours he says they cant do it today that they are to busy and will refund my money for the wiring kit and installation still no refund and a bad wiring job. 4 times there problem never resolved and they are not willing to fix it. Bad business and would never refer uhaul for a hitch.

Two weeks ago my son and I stop by the West Palm location for quotes on rental pick up truck. We stood at the counter at least 10 minutes while a female employee (assistant Manager standing next to her) having personal conversations on personal cell completely ignored us. The assistant Manager then walks over to the display rack pretending to be busy ( my son and I looks at each other in complete shock & dismay). I asked the assistant Manager for assistance, she replied” What's wrong” in shock I replied “nothing's wrong, this is my first time visiting UHAUL and I need a quote on a pick up.” She replied” well can you wait for the rep to get off the phone?” I replied “ well, she's on a personal call, can you help us? She rolled her eyes, okay give me a minute. She walks behind the counter (clearly annoyed at doing her job….winged it. Few days later I complained to the General Manager and he assured us he's have talk with her and employee that was having personal conversations in front of myself & other customers in line. Fast forward, two days ago I stopped by the same location to pick up a vehicle that I reserved online. The same assistant Manager tells me the vehicle is not available. I told her I reserved the vehicle online the previous day…she looked at me aggressively and says” Sir, I told you the vehicle not available…what do you want me to do? Customers don't always bring back the vehicle when they supposed to? I said” why are you being so rude & aggressive? She replied” I not being rude and aggressive, I”m being professional, I told you the vehicle not ready, I can put you in a vehicle at 6 this evening. When I told her she was being recorded, she went into a rage, started yelling, she got in my face & yelled “ that illegal, you shouldn't be recording me, she wacked open the side door and got the General Manager who proceeded to calm down the situation & eventually got me in a vehicle

I used this location back when I lived in west palm got there at 11 for pick up had me going g yo two different locations just to be told to go back to them they had the equipment the whole time spoke to the owner was very rude about it was not willing to help us at all never will I go back

The office and yard were disorganized. I reserved 3 dozen furniture pads and a hand truck for a one-way move. When I arrived, they didn't have any and the office staff said that it happens often and they don't know why. UNACCEPTABLE.

The trailer had 2 bald tires on it that I did not notice until first gas stop. Only 1 employee in the yard was doing the majority of the work. 2 others were either smoking or hiding.

The van I reserved last week was not available. There were no other similar vehicles/trucks available. I had to wait in the location at the desk for the associates to attempt calling people with late returns until a return that met my needs was physically driven back into the driveway. We waited over 30 minutes to complete a rental that was not what I reserved. Associates were friendly but obviously not doing something right if the vehicle I reserved was not there for me & they had multiple vehicles out that should've already been returned. I felt sorry for the people with more pressing needs than my own who were using this location, as they had no available vehicles, no hand trucks, nothing.

Made a reservation weeks in advance. Planned the move. Packed the house. Had volunteers to help and then there was no truck available. 7 hours later we get a truck. Never ever ever ever using Uhaul again.

Initial pick up was just okay. The girls at the counter spent the whole time talking about Wawa and getting their nails done, they seemed to care less that a customer was in the building right in front of them. Then she begins to check me in and continues to keep talking to her friend and it seemed like I was inconveniencing her by being there and bringing business to their store. A gentleman named Kyle or Kevin helped me outside with the First trailer I picked up. Everything was smooth sailing and easy, he helped me hook everything up and set me on my way. We didn't really do a walk around for damage or nails in tires. When I got home to load the trailer I discovered a giant nail in the tire. Had to go back and switch trailers and that's where the night mare begins. I went in the store to let them know I was there to switch and the girl inside just said “go talk to a guy outside”. So I tried to do that but there was 5 guys standing around doing nothing and same as inside they could care less about helping a customer. I parked the trailer in the back by the rest of them and had to unhook it myself. Then I kept asking the different employees which new trailer I could take and onn of them finally after 20 minutes acknowledged the customer and the guy just said “take that one, and I'll take a picture of it”. He was never to be seen again and I was left to hook the bee trailer up to the truck myself. Then come to find out the next day I had the wrong trailer on my contract because nobody ever switched the trailers in your system so I was bothered in the middle of my move by Kyle or Kevin who called to figure out the correct trailer that I had. I then informed him of how horrible the service was when I went back to switch the trailer and that's why there was a mix up on the contract and he could care less. No apologies or anything during this whole process, just getting the info he needed for the correct trailer and then on to the next one. Then I go to return the trailer at the U-Haul location by my house in Ocala where I rented the trailer to move to and come to find out that the girl in the okeechobee location put the wrong return location on the contract. Now the U-haul location in Ocala was EXCELLENT! The girl came right outside and acknowledged me as I pulled up with the trailer. She was very friendly and helped me through the return process. She informed me of the wrong return location and waived the additional fee for me. I parked the trailer and before I even had a chance to get out of my truck there was a second gentlemen already out there unhooking the trailer. This store in Ocala is a model of how every U-haul location should be managed and treating their customers. I would really appreciate a call from an Area, Regional, or District manager from both locations. The problems with the Okechobee location in West Palm Beach need to be addressed and I am not a happy customer at all. The Ocala location on highway 27 was excellent and I would love to express that to their manager. Look forward to hearing from somebody soon!

This Uhaul experience was TERRIBLE, and I would never recommend using the West Palm location again. When Barron went to pick up the truck, the two women sitting at the desk were cursing and on their cell phones. It took a long time to pick up the truck, and they did not put the hand trucks onto the truck that were supposed to be on there. Then, when Barron got back to the house, the ramp was jammed and wouldn't come out, so we had to drive the truck back to the store and replace the truck. While on the way back, I called corporate, who assured us that there was another truck and that there were more than enough hand trucks in stock and that the store could put 2 on the truck, however, upon arriving back at the store, the store manager was rude to Barron, and refused to give Barron the hand truck, again. The truck had less than 1/8 of a tank of gas. Our move was delayed HOURS because of these completely avoidable mess-ups on the part of Uhaul. I would never use the West Palm location again, and will be filing a formal complaint with corporate, in addition to this review.

Passenger door cannot be opened from the outside. The chime does not stop even when the key is out of the ignition and keeps on ringing until you close the drivers door.

Help sitting in last stall of garage. More break time than work time. 50 minutes before our car hitch work started. Leadership from Manager Kevin Davis (was on his name tag as manager) was non existent! People lined up waiting to get trucks driven to them from back lot. Waiting room smells like mold and has dripping water. U-Haul should be ashamed and disassociate from this operation. Unbelievable, will tell everyone I can and NEVER recommend. Would have bought bike carrier too (try to support brick & mortor- but not from these poor example of workers. Will buy from Amazon instead.

This is the 1st Time I've gone here and had problems with the guys in the yard. It's usually problems with the office staff but the were good this time around. The yard guys were lazy and not helpful. I rented a tow dolly. Went to the back and waited for service to hook up. No one came. I mean I see the guys and one even walked right by me. I waved him down and asked to be hooked up. He took my paper and told me to go back inside and change it to another dolly because that one is way in the back. I said ok that's understandable. Went back in got it switched out. Came back got hooked up to another one and the light was out. The guy was like what do you want me to do? I can switch it out it's up to you. I opted to switch it out. Got it switch out and he said he would take car of the paper work of switching dolly numbers. We'll that never happened. So when I got back the lazy yard guys never came up to the truck to check me in and I knew the guy never did the proper paperwork as he said. So I got out and went up to them and asked them to check me in because my paperwork doesn't match my dolly number. They said nah it all good we got you checked in. So I said ok and went inside to get my receipt and the lady's says I haven't been checked in. Which I know was the case. I told her I did and bring it back already. The lady took my receipt and properly checked me in and gave me a receipt.
