Had to drive 40 miles to pick up truck. Not good. Local rentals for 1way out of state were not available but there were 6 trucks in sight. Local rentals also were 500 $more than where we finally got the truck.

Donna C.The windshield was filthy when we picked up the truck. This is the first opportunity to report this to anyone as the app assumed there were no problems to report. We returned the truck having taken it to a carwash to wash the debris out of the back. There were no drain holes in the floor and with the floor sloped to the front there wasn't a way to make sure it was cleaned as well as we would have liked. We returned the truck after hours and there was no one there to report the condition of the windshield to. I reported the truck as needing cleaning upon returning the truck. I was charged 25 $for cleaning. I was not offered any compensation for returning it with much more gas than I picked it up with, eventhough it is documented before and after use. Lastly, the app would not let me take the requested pictures within the app. I kept having to switch out of the app to take each pickture and switch back. The problem this created was extremely frustrating as I had to start over each time it asked for a new set of pictures. Then at one point it began complaing that the pictures were too old. That problem alone made a simple process take over an hour. Had we been aware of the time consuming issue with the app and inability to use a standard carwash to clean the back, we would have planned for these and not had to extend our use for a second day. It cost us nearly and extra 100 $for problems we either did not create or were not informed that a standard carwash would not work for our truck. We made no provision to bring a broom as a result. Also, the frustration with the app was such a distraction that I ended up leaving my wallet inside the truck and had to pick it up the next day.
Michael W.Need to be more clear on how to turn in a vehicle for people who don't come there everyday. I thought I had to go into the store to turn in the Keys and even though there were people out there from U-Haul they didn't let anybody know that it was just strictly a drive-through check in.

They still had some customers in the store but one of the girls was rude and said sorry we are closed please use the night drop. So no problem but when I could not do it on my phone .I saw the same girl puting away things and I asked for help she straight up ignored me . My friend and I were asking her to help several times . Finally when I got upset with her she said you dont have to be a fucking asshole. I then said I have hey you have seen us having problems and its 8 pm and you could have helped us. She then said Fine Im over this shit. And asked for the info and got it checked back in then said have a nice day asshole. Both my friend and I were shocked. She slamed her car door and drove off. I hope you fire her.

Pha V.never used Uhaul before. The front desk and the yard person made it easy. Moved a motorcycle, Uhaul's trailer was a bargain compared to setting up my own trailer, checking wheel bearings, etc. for a 450-mile round trip. The trailer pulled easy and straight, the tie-down was solid with all the optional tie-down points.

Angela H.I had reserved 2 dollys. When I arrived, I was told that the larger dolly wasn't available, and that they'd remove it from my order, and that I'd get just the smaller dolly. The smaller dolly was not inside the truck, like indicated it would be. The office did remove the dolly charge from my order upon returning the truck. However, having the dolly, or knowing that I needed to secure another dolly ahead of time, would have been appreciated. Not having a dolly required me to do more heavy lifting, of which i am still paying for 2 days later.
