Mice tore apart everything in our storage so I wish we would have just let everything go instead of paying for storage but the hours were convenient.

TRAVIS M | Expérience généraleDo not rent here this place is infested with bugs and has black mold. U-Haul corporate will not do anything to cover cost be sure to pay extra for their insurance. My whole storage unit was coverage with black mold I had my stuff in there for less than 6 months. Most of it was covered and mold still got in. The bugs were everywhere. Unfortunately my insurance doesn't cover black mold so my money went to waste. I had dinning room table, 2 couches, chairs, other furniture covered in black mold. JUST Be sure to be get insurance thru UHAUL. The manager did nothing but told me to leave, so I left everything in the unit and abandoned it. Even the professional movers I hired never seen anything like that before. This was disappointing never renting U-haul again and I meant that.

Brian M | Premières impressionsThe day we moved our stuff to the storage building we noticed a small hole in roof. Not huge but enough to allow water in. We drove back to the uhaul office and notified the girl at the desk. She stated she would let Rick the manager know. (I think that's his name) She called me the next day staring the manager was notified and it would be fixed by end of week. It was not. We returned to Louisiana to get our stuff and a brand new kings size mattress was ruined with water damage, several tubs and boxes with my collectible items were also wet and ruined since most of it had wood and the wood molded. When telling the manager again, he gave no cares at all. Even after directly telling him I was told he was having it fixed and chose not to.
Kara K | Expérience généraleThere was a young lady at the store that was ready to meet any need I had,the remote for the gate wouldn’t work an she told me there’s no problem an gave me a card to use so I can get entrance through but after a couple of minutes pass by this young lady call to see if I was able to enter a wonderful courtesy call now on there other hand there was another young lady that started calling my ex husband an daughter saying I need to pay my storage bill but never took the time to go an check out the storage space to see if I had moved my things out the part that upsets me the most before u start calling reference do your job first an see if the renter have moved it was the 8 of October when I moved an it’s the 28 of October but never went check an on top of that I would pay way in advance do your job before calling I’m just saying

My godson helped me with the storage needs so I had to cancel my storage with you. When I went in to speak to the owner at Fort Polk, he was very friendly and courteous. He refunded my deposit, which was a huge relief for me. Thank you and God Bless!
