I was told there would be an appliance dolly for me but when I arrived there was not. When I asked about the guaranty she said â€œ there are no guarantees hereâ€ even when I asked why it is printed on the screen with which I was making my payment. What exactly is U-Hauls guarantee? Your website needs work. It would not let me rest my password. The other item would be your phones. When they say you will have to wait 63 minutes for your turn. When people are moving it is one of the most stressful thing people go through. Jami R GarrettJAMI G.
I received the truck and was led to believe the tank was full. Before returning the truck, I followed the agreement and filled it to full. To my surprise, I ended up putting about 14 gallons into the truck while I estimated I only used up about 7 gallons, so I ended up putting about 25 dollars worth of extra gas into the truck. When checking out, I asked if I could be compensated for the extra gas I put in and that request was not accommodated. Come on UHaul, I thought you were better than this... Facility is small. As a result merchandise, such as moving boxes, frequently are not on floor. Someone has to go get merchandise which can take time as staff is busy. Parking for cars very limited. Traffic in and out can get congested. Staff is great and equipment rented was clean and well maintained.ELLEN S.

The hitch was installed properly and they did a great job with the installation.. I have no problems with the gentleman who did the labor and work. Yet, the woman Brenda at the desk when I dropped off my keys was horrific. As far as customer experience, her attitude, tone, raised voice, and even her hanging up on me after I called hours later asking for an update as she responded lying about when my vehicle would be ready for pick-up is absolutely unexceptable. Her argumentative tone and lack of patience were frustrating, to say the least. As a business owner myself, if one of my employees treated any of my clients or person who walked through my doors or on the phone like Brenda did to me, that individual would have some major repercussions. Instead, I was left with no update and deceived. When I asked for an apology her response was continued to be over and over a disgrace of explanation trying to explain and validate her reasoning for lying, raising her voice, and hanging up on me. She even put my calls on hold for minutes at a time to mess with me when I would call back... No apology there if you ask me. I won't be returning to that specific location ever again, nor refer friends to it as long as Brenda works there.Katherine B.

The employee that I saw in parking where I was dropping off the 20' truck, never said â€œmay I help youâ€, he simply said move your car to the customer area. He said something to the young girl dropping off her truck so I just did what he told her and left the truck with the keys in It and left. If there was a flat rate for unlimited mileage that would have been nice to know. I had no idea how high the cost was per mile. Also on that unit the door was not functioning properly. It was sticking hence the "no" on the clean (which it was) but the door was a big issue.EDGAR S K.

When I arrived at 9:00 AM to pick up my truck, there was a line of four customers in front of me. There was one person at the counter, wearing sunglasses, telling customers he had been up until 4 am. He was doing his best, but having computer problems. I didn't get my vehicle until 10:00 AM. When I returned the truck a bit after 3, there was nobody to check me in. I went inside and was told to find someone out in the lot. When I went out, a uhaul employee was moving the truck but he told me he could not check in the vehicle. Another employe told me he would take care of it. This was around 3:30 PM. I have now been charged for an extra day due to lack of staff or incompetence,I am not sure which. How do I get this corrected I should not be charged an extra day.Gary P.

After being asked to complete the entire process via online website, because of COVID, which is fine, I was ultimately given the lock box number and combo, only to find it empty. I wasted half an hour trying to comply with the request and had to go inside and stand in line in the end, anyway. The agent that checked me in was a extremely lazy and over opinionated. And I had to remind her twice to add a hand truck to my order, after which, she pointed me to my truck and never gave me the hand truck. I drove off and got half way home before realizing it probably wasn't in the back of the truckâ€¦ Sure enough, I had to turn around and drive back to get it. Plus, there was a big display sign in the front window of the truck that I had to remove and take back to the building. Last but far from least, and unrelated to this particular location - The truck was leaking from the rear differential and stained my drivewayâ€¦ Your corporate offices will be hearing from me on that one. This location was fine. I more have issues with the lack of streamline of service with Uhaul. The customer service team over the phone says one thing or recommends changing services in the store, the store says that you have to call customer service and back and forth. My unit got flooded due to the drainage system not working correctly and my furniture was damaged and had to be thrown out. I filed a claim and was told it was denied. Poor drainage at the facility caused us major damage and losses when flooding occurred, affecting both of our units, both drive-up and inside. Staff were very helpful in the recovery/clean-up effort, but losses may or may not be covered by U-Haul. It is beyond insane you would send me a survey after what your company did… my possessions were insured through you. You found a loop hole in the paperwork and chose not to insure our goods. I responded to your inquiry and you still took the liberty of throwing away uninsured items within 24 of your contact after waiting almost two weeks to contact me about the event. What your company did is criminal. I am not threatening action as I know you work for an entity who would rather waste money than do the right thing. So yeah… not very "content". I hope whoever, if anyone, is reading this has a wake up call and realizes they don't have to work for a place who treats people like this. All my stuff got wet and I was double charged. The management was able to work out the charge luckily. Online was confusing and somehow my payment went through but the page kept giving me errors and forced me to put in 3 completely different phone numbers in order to go through. Hi I actually didn't end up using the unit and called u-haul less than 24 hrs later to cancel. The help line said to go to the store and they can refund you if you hadn't used it yet. That worked out fine but I was still charged 9,95 for a lock that I never received? I'm not sure if the lock was already attached to the unit because I never went to unit itself. All I know is I have a charge for a lock that was never given to me. I would please like a refund or lock, either way is fine. Thank you and have a great day. My storage unit was broken. Told them & still never was fixed properly. Someone could've just pushed in the rolling door. Finally just closed it out after a few months of this. Unit 038 needs to be sealed up. The reason I moved out is because dirt comes in under the door. It's not sealed up. Not just a little dirt. The floor is covered. All of my stuff is completely covered in dirt.. this unit is the worst that I have ever rented anywhere.James K. | Expérience générale

I almost was not able to get the size storage unit I reserved a month ago. There were 5 different people on the list for the same size (5x10) and there was only one unit available. I just so happened to be the first to check in. Now the other 4 people will not get the unit they reserved. This system makes no sense. Why would u-haul let you reserve a storage unit and then not have any available?? The system should show when units will be available and only allow you to reserve accordingly. Very long (6-7 transactions), slow moving line of customers made getting to my reserved storage unit a 20 minute project. This was in part due several of the transactions walk-in transactions with little prep, research, or pre-registration done.
