I was unable to complete my move in on the app. I had to call customer service, just to be informed that my reservation had been canceled. In the app my reservation was still active and showed the option to move in, even let me edit and change my reservation. Your app really stinks and takes people in circles. Incredibly frustrating especially when moving your home is already stressful enough. Not a happy customer! Then was charged for the month that was supposed to be free, requiring yet another call to customer service, where most of the time I was transferred to different departments.

I was never told the office was not at the storage location. I had to drive a 15' U-Haul with a car hauler back the way I came just to check into the facility. They didn't have the size unit I RESERVED, shocker they had bigger ones that cost more. Not a pleasant experience overall.

So I went and rented this U-Haul truck thinking that when I packed it I was going to have a one month restorage and everything was going to be fine. When I went to go redeem my one month free storage. You guys told me that that's not a thing. You only do one way trips when clearly online. Still to this day it says one way and local trips get the one month free storage. You guys are false advertising. You guys do not fulfill your promises of what you advertise. I will never come back to this company and if I had a choice I would not be currently a customer due to the fact that you guys have rude employees. You do not do what you say. You guys need to get better customer service.

I have only had pleasant experiences with both the management and other tenants/customers who rent here, everyone is respectful and take care of the facility/bathroom immaculately cleaned very frequently from what I can see. I will always use this particular u-haul storage as long as I reside in Arizona and am very thankful to be a proud customer always. I called a number I had written in my notes as the contact number, all it went to was voice mail with a lot of prompts ..no help to get in side. I had brought 2 young men to help me clean, arranged a trailer etc. My card to get in didn't work. Finally a worker who was inside the gate let us in, we got in , had a hard time once we took off the lock to open the sliding lock. All in all it was 109 degrees, no help no one to talk to . Awful experience. You need to have a live person get the phone, stop the answer machine, and be more people friendly, customer service is what we call it.

sierra mVery clean and storage unit was huge. Gate was inoperative and always open for most of my rental period. This is a facility with 24 hr access, not secure. My unit was locked out because I paid three days late, which I understand. But I did not understand why the lock remained on my unit for 22 days after I made the payment. Or why the person I spoke with when I came into the office, could not take the time to look in the computer to verify the dates, apologize for the oversight and offer to immediately remove the lock (it's now been 27 days)? The lack of concern about access and security is unacceptable for a 24 hr access facility.

In the meantime his car was parked where the rental truck is supposed to be parked. I was sitting in driveway waiting for him to move his car which he did not so since people were trying to get into storage I backed out and parked up front on the street. Then I started getting upset because I had people waiting for me and I was waiting for a half hour to return truck. Finally I did the return stuff locked up vehicle and gave the key to the manager. She said where is the truck ? Really? It's out front so when you and your friend are done chatting he can move his car and you can park the truck. That was after I had to walk from the Broadway office to storage to pick up truck. I was dropped off at the office and none of the employees could run me down to the storage unit where I am also renting a 10 × 20 unit? This definitely was not a positive experience.

I has to go to home depot to buy a lock. There were other storage unit open and there was aluminum foil with black stuff on it. Which told me that people must break into the empty units to get high! I regret getting a storage unit where people are stealing locks and doing drugs in the empty unit

I was not able to retrieve a code online, I was not able to reach anyone for help. I called Customer Service and they had no record of a contract under my name. I was able to finally get in by following another customer in. I emptied the storage and, luckily, was able to get out. I returned on 2/22/21 for another attempt to get in and sweep out the storage. Again, was not able to get anyone on the phone to help. As a 26 year system member of U-Haul, I can only hope that our customers are not experiencing what I experienced. The straps that held down my car came off on one side and the other was loose! Luckily for me I noticed in time.Or my car would of been going down the fwy. By its self.then cam the storage...was not on record even though I had reserved it weeks in advance and had the reservation number.Then to find out the office was at a different location then the actual storage site. After checking in the unit was too small. Then had to call 1800 to find another place .went there and after checking in foundnout it was upstairs ...not good I have to many heavy items to be going up n down.then went to the 3rd and they didn't want to rent the space out due to it was the the last one...not until I was on the phone the lady had a change of mind and attitude.

Kelly S | Expérience généraleExcept for having to go to two locations for completing all paperwork and move-in {Which is understandable under the current Covid 19 scenario of options} both locations were outstanding and at the storage facility the opportunity to share items with others I feel is an awesome idea. The re-sharing of boxes has been also quite good and will bring our used boxes back for others. I did find that the measurements of the specific unit were only 10 feet wide by only 9 feet deep though which made using the unit awkward as I had two couches that were 9 and 1/2 feet long that would only fit sideways which made it hard to negotiate rather than a straight in movement. Impressed that a bait station for critters was in place.
