Under communicated to me regarding delay in delivery of boxes. Couldn't confirm even next day delivery. I had to find others to pickup and deliver back once they were loaded. Cost increased $1 100 for rescheduling and loading.

You could let your customers know that you cannot provide local delivery of the u-boxes for two and a half months. That would have completely changed our decision to go with Uhaul. This seemed undermining and like a money grab with your moving help site. I will never use Uhaul again and will make sure to tell everyone I know how this whole thing went down.

Despite calling two weeks prior to my move date to confirm a delivery, my u-boxes were not delivered on the scheduled date and there was no record of the delivery being scheduled at all. Their systems seem to be very disorganized don't communicate with each other. I then had to pay for a uhaul rental and move the pods myself despite uhaul messing up the delivery date as they told me I'd have to wait 3 weeks. Would not recommend using u-boxes.

The staff was helpful but overworked, not enough people for the job. The vehicle had no gas and we had to wait around to get it filled enough to get to a gas station. I recognize there is a situation with gas thief's in the area, but not a good experience for the customer. The items I ordered where not with the truck, could not have been an after hours pick up if I needed it to be as I needed to go to the counter to get all the stuff I ordered. Again staff was great, but the situation was not.

When I placed the order, I selected movers to load for move-out and unload for move-in. I was charged $200 for a crew of 2 for 2-hour labor to load two boxes and an extra $99 for delivery. The day of move-in, I found out that the $452.92. I paid only covered delivery of 2 boxes. That's a complete rip-off and was not clearly indicated on the order page.

Movers on both ends noted that communication with UHaul was very poor. I had to triangulate and do customer service calls because UHaul had nor informed (or update my account on their website) that my box was ready for pickup.

The truck wasn't as clean as it could have been. the windows were filthy inside and out. There was also only 8 miles of gas in the truck. When I dropped it off, I was required to put 1/4 of a tank in the truck or forfeit $80 in fees. To me that was a catch 22.

It seemed like nobody I talked to knew what they were doing. The process was extremely confusing and frustrating, and nothing seemed to go right. I was put on hold on the phone indefinitely multiple times. The supervisor at the location was unable to answer any of my questions and seemed unorganized. Ultimately, my belongings arrived safely, but the process to access them was super frustrating.

The staff was not very helpful or welcoming. I had to wait 30 min for them to get the truck. They did apologize but only after I asked for another vehicle. They didn't really communicate was going on When I returned the truck she didn't want to check me out and give me a total she said we can email you. So I had to ask can you give me my total Now please.

This was the worst service I have ever experienced in the 40 years that I have rented from UHaul. At the time I booked the reservation the CSR did not explain about the 24/7 program. I showed up at Penny Pinchin Records at 8:00 am. There was no one there and when I checked online the listing indicated this place was closed. This information in itself caused me a great deal of anxiety. I contacted several CSR's due to several issues as follows. This UHaul location does not maintain their lockboxes adequately. The CSR was trying to assist over the phone. This CSR told me the that the key was in the #4 lockbox. It took a very long time to open due to the maintenance of the locks. The CSR then gave us the password was for all six lockboxes. It took forever to get the locks to open with the correct password. The key was not in any of the numbered boxes.There are two additional boxes with no numbers. I had to climb up on the brick facade on the front of the building to attempt to open these two boxes. I worked on each of them for a good 15 minutes to no avail. At this point in time it's an hour and a half later and I still don't have my rental and very sore fingers because the locks don't work correctly. MAfter all that I was disconnected from the first CSR and she never called me back. At the time of the disconnection I was on hold waiting for confirmation that i could rent a truck from the UHaul place on Rainier ave. The next CSR we talked on the phone and the entire staff at Rainier UHAUL were compassionate and very helpful in finding us a replacement truck as the first 24/7 CSR changed our reservation to a UHaul rental place {Rainier ave location) that had absolutely no trucks. Also, the first CSR indicated it was a one way rental and that was incorrect as well. The last CSR (the very helpful one at 24/7) indicated she could give us a flat $50 for our inconvenience. I then asked for a full refund due to the extremely stressful and very difficult issues with this 24/7 rental place.. I was stuck with no truck and UHaul inconvenienced me and my several friends I had waiting to assist me move, all due to UHaul's mistakes. I asked to speak to speak to her supervisor as I believe that in addition to waiving the entire cost of my rental, I believe it is fair that I expect full reimbursement for the gas I bought due to spending a lot of gas trying to find a truck. There is also the additional miles above what we would have been charged if the Penny Pinchin Record truck that we were contracted with UHaul to rent was accessible. Everyone I spoke to who offered the $50 should have more decision making authority. It is a waste of my time and I'm surprised that I have to contact a 3rd level management employee to maybe do the right thing in this instance and reimburse me completely. In addition, the last CSR indicated that it would take 3 to 5 weeks to reimburse me. Most companies reimbursement policy is 5 to 10 business days, not a month or so. When I asked for the supervisor's direct line I was told that was not possible. She indicated she would give him a message as he was out of the office. The CSR proceeded to give me the name of her supervisor and email. I sent an email to Andre at 701_rm@uhaul.com earlier today and I haven't heard back from him. The email I sent explains in more detail the above scenario. There are issues with training, communication and employee empowerment to advocate for the client when there are issues with the rental agreement. Please understand that I am not one to ask for reimbursement unless it is a gross negligence with regard to my rental agreement. I expect UHaul to fully reimburse me (My gas was $40. I have the receipt) because that is the right thing to do. The biggest improvement you could do is focus on customer service, training and foster employee empowerment.

I was redirected to this location by your 1 800 folks who had initially sent me to the West Seattle location. When I arrived at West Seattle they informed me they had no car dolly for me in spite of my being directed there. This is not the second time in a month in which you all have accepted and confirmed a location for pick up of equipment only for the equipment not to be at that location. I am through dealing with your 1 800 folks!!!!!! If you force me to have to deal with them in the future as opposed to my being able to call the local Haul location, I will rent from someone else.

Mostly everyone was kind and friendly and helpful. I didn't have confidence in the skills of Jessie, mostly because he didn't seem to know too much himself and needed lots of assistance. While I don't mind training someone, it took longer than normal to check in. I had an immense amount of patience but that patience wasn't returned when I was using the stalls to unload my truck and they needed to go home. It seemed my time was not as valuable as their time. There should be a way to lock the facility to allow the customer to completely use the stall and have it lock behind them. Interestingly, the same 2 individuals that took a tremendous amount of time at check in were the ones demanding that we move out of the stalls. Additionally, dogs should not be brought to work. It's unprofessional. The truck check out was much smoother, likely because it was handled by the manager, and there's another younger lady working there that seemed pretty efficient.

The vehicle was not in great working condition. The brakes were wobbling and had probably had worn out rotors. the engine rpm was always increasing while breaking (which mean issues with the transmission).

Your equipment was improperly installed and damaged my property. I haven't heard from your dealer. I had to wait an hour in the lobby with reservations and then I got screwed over.

I tried to rent a car hauler and the online configure program said my Ford f150 would work. When I got to Wilderness Chevron in Maple Valley they did not have the car hauler that I reserved there, though they had the contract finished and my card charged. They sent me to Tukwila location, who, after entering my info in their computer said my truck was not acceptable. I ended up having to rent one of their trucks and the whole deal cost me an extra $300 plus an extra 3 hours. I think it would have cost less to pay to have my vehicle towed. They told me that in the future, call the location to be sure the item I want is there and that my Towing vehicle will be accepted. Good company?

Load the u boxes on trailers when you say you will, staff up customer service so people aren't on hold for over an hour, update your systems so your billing is accurate and stores info is connected from one location to the other. Your company is a joke, it's only a matter of time before you are disrupted.

I was first given a truck with a HOLE in the gas tank! I called immediately and they told me to drive it back with a leaking gas tank. They were very quick to get me into another truck, just not an ideal way to start my morning.... with gas soaked shoes. I have to say though, April was great and very helpful with everything from start to finish.

Nothing against the location per se, but the entire experience was generally confusing and hard to manage. It was really confusing where to drop stuff, when things would arrive, who I should talk to and how stuff would be delivered to my place. Having said that, after many phone calls, everything worked out and the price seemed very good compared to other services I've seen, hence 3 stars.

Hire a new person at the front desk. When we arrived, 3 uhaul workers were enjoying a good time together. We stood there several minutes with no pause to their conversation. I finally asked someone to pull up our reservation and he said in a minute! When i insisted, he got surly, and was surly the rest of our encounter. Nice location but terrible representative.

You guys are trying to charge me $50 for no reason, you guys cheated me on gas and I went to put gas in when I try to return the people at uhaul said to just put a gallon in so I did And then when I came back they said it didn't reach were it was before I started but thing is they had it wrong saying the gas 13/16 to start out with when it was 11/16 or 12:16 I put it back to where I first started I even have pictures And now I owe $51 how when I return the truck and everything fine and how is a extra $30 when at uhaul they said it'll be a $20 fee for not putting gas back not a whole $50 you guys need to just suspend this account because you guys did business wrong and wasn't even setting me up right to succeed on my jobs

Extremely busy on a Saturday morning to pick up the trailer. Took over an hour & we had already reserved it on line. We ended up keeping it over the 24 hours we booked it for due to my husband getting food poisoning. I called U-Haul they said they would not charge us because we didn't actually use the trailer. It was just parked. They ended up charging us for 3 days which is totally not what we were told. Very unhappy about that.

We used 2 UBoxes and one of the boxes got mixed up (UHaul used the wrong box number). Thankfully, we put tracking devices inside each box so we identified that one of the boxes did not ship with the other one on time. When we discovered this, we contacted customer service but they insisted that our tracking device might be misbehaving and kept routing us to different call centers. I think they should have handled this better by not rerouting calls and doing the investigation on their side. It took 5+ calls over 3+ days to get a hold of someone who was able to assign someone direct to our case. At this point, they suspect that they mixed up the box numbers and sent the wrong box. We had to manually come into the facility to verify unidentified box was indeed ours (took 2+ weeks since our motivation for using ubox was so that we could travel in between moves, so this was a big hassle to get back to our original location). The people at the facility helping out were very friendly tho. Once we identified the box, we also had some trouble w shipping the mixed up box and getting refunds. They created a new order for the mixed up box but this ended up making $2500+ charge on the credit card (it was refunded but this should have been handled on their side as a “free” order). Also, customer service folks have said “we will check on ur box status and call you back” but I usually didn't get call backs. Overall, we received our original boxes but I felt like I had to double check their work and had to keep following up on them at multiple different steps.

Great location. Andre got everything set up for for us and it went off without a hitch. Picked up the truck he recommended no issues, and then my 2 U-boxes were already loaded up and ready to go in the back. Super nice guys, great service.

U-Haul doesn't HAVE customer service. I spent a lot of time ultimately getting bad info on the phone. U-Haul held my U-Box at a depot somewhat close to destination without delivery for over a week and I had hire someone else to get it to the contracted final destination. All the time, my online order page said the box was still stored at the origin facility and, when delivered, stated status was unloaded within six miles of origin. My goods arrived late and the fact that goods were safely delivered had nothing to do with U-Haul, U-Haul a cheap alternative if you don't mind sending your possessions into a black hole of information.

My U-boxes arrived 3 days late and during the three days no one from U-haul was able to tell me where my containers were. It was extremely upsetting and I wasn't even sure if they are still safe. The $50 compensation for late fee per day is very low compared to the hotel costs. The U-haul staff also made a smirky comment about why I need to stay at a hotel and that me staying a hotel due to lateness of arrival is "none of their concern". Customer service was extremely poor (the staff at the destination locations were helpful but the customer service at my originating location was extremely bad).

I made this reservation two weeks ago. I arrived at the location at the appointed time. We were informed that, "I'm sorry but we don't have any trailers available. We're overbooked". The attendant said, "We can get you set up and you can come back tomorrow." I explained that that wasn't going to work, as I had a dozen people waiting to make this move today. The attendant said something about the computer system messing things up, and not stopping sending more reservations than they had availability. She got on the computer to find a unit at another center before discovering that there was indeed a unit available on the lot. She explained that we could have this unit as long as we could promise to have it back by 6:30pm. I agreed that we could do that. We finished the paperwork, hooked up the trailer, and made it to meet our team on time. Whatever the source of the confusion, the clerical gaffe caused us a bit of anxiety. The attendant seemed overmatched by the situation. I will suggest improvements to the system to avoid putting your reps in a difficult and uncomfortable position. Had the location not been able to connect us with a trailer this morning, the disruption to our move would have put us in a critically difficult situation and mandated a very harsh review.

I rented the truck on the 2nd and returned on the 3rd. I parked in the return area and went inside and handed the keys to one of the reps and let him know the gas was filled back to the original level. A week later I get an email about the truck having not been returned. A phone call and message could have taken are of the this. They had to see the truck parked right in front of the sign and one of your guys had the keys. We rent from you at least every other week, usually the location on Leary Way or Interurban in Seattle.

The people I've dealt with at this location, from inside the offices who I spoke with on the phone, to the people I spoke with at the counter, to the people I dropped my rental truck and trailer off with, were all a pleasure to deal with, kind beyond necessity, and made my experience with this location all top notch. It appeared no one in this office knew `anything they were doing besides the manager. They were extremely confused with their computer systems and no help when I had questions. go to another office
