Xavier H.Very small loading and entrance. Not very welcoming person working. I had to cross a busy street to park my car. I asked where she said anywhere across the street in a mall parking lot. I can't imagine an older person dealing with that. I drove the truck back the same day as I pulled up she told me I had to return it to a different location. She said it to me 3 times…I said no one ever told me that. Imagine being told that driving 3 hours each way and unloading and loading stuff. Anyway I said I'm not bringing this truck anywhere then asked for my paper work and said fine I could leave it. Tough crew….

Norma C.Hello, The gas charge on my account is incorrect. When I picked up my rental I had advised the U-Haul rep that the gas on the paper and inside the truck was different. She did initial the paperwork BUT I left it inside the glove compartment in the U-Haul. She did give me her cell number just in case this would happen! Her name is Nikki 770- 229-2753. This is the location in Griffin GA that I picked it up from. Call her and she will confirm that the paperwork was incorrect and she was notified INSTANTLY and she did initial the paperwork that's inside the truck. I have included pictures of the gas and the mileage as well when I picked it up Saturday because I KNEW this would happen!! Please assist with getting this resolved so that I can pay the 1 day over for the truck. Merci.

She acted like she hated being at work. She took forever when we arrived on scheduled time, and it was a horrific experience. I don't think I'll be back. Please hire staff that are friendly, courteous, and actually WANT to be present at the workplace.

Gwen L.Foremost, reduce the weight of your equipment. I know you want it to last forever, but seriously, 1920 pounds for an EMPTY 6x12 trailer. Wayyyyy overkill. That trailer is like towing a boat anchor. A trip that usually too a tank and a half of gas, took 3 tanks towing that thing. It also jars and rattles whether its empty or loaded. The brake lights and turn signals worked. The marker lights for driving at night, did not. Between the jarring of that thing and having to run my hazard lights the whole time at night, got on my last nerve. Reduce the weight and clunkiness of your equipment. Doesn't have to last forever. All that being said, I doubt very much that I will ever be renting a trailer from Uhaul again. The people at the location are great and I have rented there before.
Jim R.The rep when I checked the truck out was nice, but the rep when I returned the truck told me I had to use the online method, despite me bringing the vehicle back ten minutes before closing, and she just stood around talking and eating with her friend who isn't an employee. The reason I wanted to check back in in-person was that my phone was having difficultly with the mobile check in, so the process took far longer than it had to.

Nathaniel M.I made my reservation for an 26' truck and 72 furniture pads about a month in advance. After a week or so, it shifted locations, which was not a big deal because it was close by. However, two days before I was supposed to pick it up, I was informed there was not a 26' truck available and that I would receive a 20' truck instead at a location 15 miles further away. I called and asked and was told there was not a 26' truck available but that the location I was moved to has a 20' truck and furniture pads. I showed up that morning as scheduled to pick up my truck and discovered they only had 24 of the furniture pads I'd ordered. Instead of getting additional ones there, I had to drive 10 more miles away from my destination to pick them up. On top of this, I was left with a quarter tank of gas, which only got me part of the way through the day, so I had to guess how much gas I'd need the rest of the day and left them with probably an extra $10-15 in gas. Ultimately, I drove an extra 30 miles in the truck at $1,09/mile plus the extra gas, plus and extra 20 miles round trip to get furniture pads, plus lost over an hour out of my moving day because of the last minute changes. On top of that, I got a lesser truck, which caused us to make two trips instead of one, costing additional time and mileage. I asked for four things originally: 1. A truck, 2. Furniture pads, 3. These items at a specific location, and 4. Those items at a specific time. I only got 1 of the 4 things I asked for (the time) - I didn't get the truck I'd requested, I had to go elsewhere to get the pads, and it wasn't at the location I asked for. It was a poor experience.

I had to wait about 15 minutes to enter the parking lot to get to the storage because of the many cars blocking the entrance. I had to wait another 5 or 10 minutes upon leaving for the same reason.
