Changed to a different site, only to get called and told they were not open. The website should not allow a customer to make a reservation if the site does not deal with a certain product.
Lamar L.I was instructed that my rental was in the gravel area. With no assistance, I perused around what is basically a truck graveyard. My rental was wedged tightly between 2 others. Luckily I was able to wave down a very kind and helpful to help me pull out but it's a completely disorganized and risky way to start a rental.
Neyaz M.So I have had the storage unit for about 5 years now. I was moving out of the storage unit 11/24 when I arrive to the facility and all the parking spots were taken up. The parking spots for cars and also the parking spot for larger trucks(where you can load and unload your items conveniently) were all being used. I was not expecting that it would be busy the day after Thanksgiving but I was wrong. The truck loading area had 3 spots for larger trucks. 2 of the spots were taken up by Uhaul trucks but with that being said there was 2 Uhaul trucks backed in to the spot back to back So the there was actually 4 Uhaul trucks in 2 of the parking spots that were for larger loading jobs out of the 3 spots that they have available. The third spot had a car in it. Let me say first I was in a Penske 12ft truck not because I wanted to use Penske but Uhaul didn't have any vans available for rent so I went to Penske because they did, just to find out day of move that they did not have the smaller van that I originally wanted so they offered a truck at a discounted rate when compared with Uhaul at that time was cheaper. - I Digress With no where to park we parked in what I would think was a Uhaul spot for trucks that are waiting to be rented and no one to ask I walked in to the shop and ask someone behind the desk ( there were at least 3 people behind the desk at this time- 2 of them were helping people.) where should I park this 12ft truck to load my items. I was told at this time to park next to the fire hydrant which was closer to loading spots but it would of been in the way of other trucks and cars coming in so we just parked in the spot where we originally parked and went along with emptying the storage unit. There was plenty of trolleys to use so three of my friends and myself grabbed them and was able to empty storage unit with in minutes, and I go into store to tell them I'm moving out. Which was easy and fast, but while I wait for my receipt I over hear a customer stating her concerns that why isn't there any parking at this time. I hear this older lady say she lives in a 500 hundred square ft in law suite and this storage unit is where she places all her extra items and that she had been here for years and that she has never had a problem getting parking. ( I have also been here for years and also have never had a problem) I then hear the staff member behind the desk state " management has told us to park in the parking spots and if the space was needed they were told to then move their(staff members) cars." When I walked into the shop originally looking for parking not one person that sat behind the desk offered to move their car but I was shown somewhere else to park by staff member which i felt was not a safe place to park. I felt for this lady and her legitimate concerns. I also felt that they could have noticed this lady having to use the ramp with all her items managing her stuff going down the hill and at that time move their car then but nothing was done on their part. Turns out they were not busy they just limited where people who have units can park to one which was inconvenient to the one person who was there to use it at that time. I was able to manage moving my items but I also had help from friends this lady was by herself. I don't understand why Uhaul even had 4 Uhaul trucks sitting there not being used with one loading lane which that lady was using, and staff were taking up the other parking spots , But hey I'm not meant to understand everything. Storage unit was always easy to use, clean, well lighted I always felt safe using it. Had limited interaction with staff members so I can't really say a-lot about that, besides yesterday's encounter.

Unfortunate note, as I had to leave my drop Off car off U Haul premises, parked on main road in front of the U Haul, the front window was broken and the car vandalized. Appears policies this store has changed since I previously rented there. Happy holiday season to all.

Kari S.It was easy and smooth to communicate for pick up and delivery. They were friendly and flexible while talking on phone. Actual driver was super kind to mu son who loves forklifts. The only issue we had was booking online. It was confusing what the actual cost was going to be and delivery dates.

ERICA D. | Expérience généraleThe U-Haul employee, after hooking up my AT, asked if I had paid $20 to help load my car. I said I had never heard of such a fee. He said I should have been asked if I wanted help loading the car when getting my truck rental. I said I had never been asked about the fee or seen it mentioned anywhere. I then offered to pay the $20 for his help in loading my car on the AT. He said it was too late at that point to pay the fee and get his help. How absurd. Lousy policy and poor service. Why was the fee for loading assistance not offered when I reserved my car hauler equipment online? Fortunately I knew how to do load my car but what about those who haven't any idea on how to load and secure their vehicle or what about those individuals who physically could not load and secure their car themselves.

Fredy H R.I rated the experience below average for the following reasons: The wrong box was given to the movers (it was an empty one, not mine) so the movers had to go back to the location and get the correct one. Thankfully, I was moving nearby, 10 minutes away. However, it took about an hour for them to get the right box and back again. Then they went back to get the second box and that took about another hour. For what should have been an easy and quick move of about 2 hours turned into a 4 hour move. I felt bad for the movers as they were paid on the bid and locked in. Not that I should have paid more, but UHaul at Lynnwood made this a rather unpleasant experience. The guy who appeared to be the manager was kind, but he seemed like he had some staff members who were either new or didn't know what they were doing.

Not only did they allow me to move my stuff out but they offered me a deal that was too good to be true. I definitely would rent here again when I am able to make the monthly payments. No complaints for the North Lynnwood Uhaul.

Liaza with the long finger nails is useless, She can't type, hook up a trailer or even the trailer light's because of the ridiculously abnormal long nails. She had to ask for help with every task. So it delayed me leaving and cost Uhaul extra man hours for each thing she tried to do.

Fred F.Send the customer who rents a moving van with fuel in the vehicle. The vehicle we rented was very close to running out of gas. I took pictures of the gage and mileage within 5 minutes of leaving the U-Haul facility. Still your employee wanted to argue with us saying he believed the condition sheet said the tank was full. This was not the case and customer service skills displayed by your personnel were severely lacking if present at all. I am an elderly man but I have my wits about me and you're employee was rude and offensive.

Lisa N.I was treated poorly by the Front Desk people at the UHaul store where I picked up the rental truck. The customer service is really below par. The truck that was rented to me had brakes that were defective. Whenever I press the brakes, almost halfway through the truck continued to slide forward and would not stop. This is a real safety hazard. Then they charged me incorrectly for starting mileage. The Front Desk rep, Enrique, and the rest of the Front Desk employees, were rude, even after I informed them that they over charged me for an incorrectly entered starting mileage. They would not hold themselves accountable for a mistake that is clearly done by the rep who last entered the ending mileage on the last customer who rented this truck. They keep stating it is in their policy. No matter what, employees are supposed to diligently enter the correct starting mileage on the truck before releasing it to the customer. This was not done by the rep who took my reservations. This is poor customer service on the part of UHaul. I would expect a call from the manager to rectify this with me. I believe I should not be charged for an error that was clearly done by an individual who works for UHaul. It is not a good representation of your team of staff, as a whole. Let alone, you are leaving a bad reputation for doing a disservice to your faithful customers. Would appreciate a manager to contact me about this and resolve this in a manner that is in alignment to providing service with integrity of character and reputation that aligns with UHaul's culture and values.

It took over 45 minutes to get our truck at the other location. Costing us valuable time and money. There is no excuse for a truck reserved day ahead to not be ready at the designated location. A total lack of work ethic, laziness, and unprofessionalism.

And done in 5 mins. My time is valuable. This place has seriously changed. And the drive lines outside. Who knows what direction you're supposed to go now.
Juan S.We PAID movers to pick up and load 4 U-Boxes. When they arrived at the Lynnwood location on the scheduled day, only 1 of the U-Boxes was ready and Lynnwood employees REFUSED to provide the other 3 or contact someone who could provide whatever authorization they needed! After 5 HOURS, the movers took the 1 box and rented a 15' truck to load the rest of our items. It was too late to do anything that day so they slept in their vehicles and arrived to load at 6:15 am. Because of the truck fiasco, we didn't get the full 4 box load we paid for. The one box was packed thoroughly but the other 3 could have had significantly more items if they'd been packed on-site. We returned with the movers to the Lynnwood facility after loading. It took over an hour for Lynnwood U-Haul to produce the remaining 3 U-boxes for our movers to transfer our items from the 15' box truck. We were standing there observing the poor attitude and lousy communication by the U-Haul employees. We will NEVER use the Lynnwood facility again. (Note - the experience on the Moscow end of the move was vastly different.) This was incredibly POOR performance!

The lady that called me said I don't know what to tell you we don't have your card on file and we show you moved in on 9/4/23. Um what?! We have been there since 2013 you can look at our ledger that shows we have been there that long and had automatic withdrawal for our rent. She had no record of this and now I'm receiving a move in survey so we are very concerned that our belongings were removed. We will be there as soon as we can to remove our belongings.

Warren F.The delivery driver did not call to confirm correct location and delivered to the wrong address and then it took 4 hours for correct delivery. Also there is no gps location on the boxes so I had to drive around for 2 hours to find the box by looking at a picture that was terrible quality in an area I just moved to with no reference of where my box actually was. When calling to find out where my box was no one had any idea where it was or even if it was delivered or not and there are too many different departments that do not work with each other. I was poorly and quite frankly inadequately compensated for my many inconveniences. Please get gps location on boxes and truck drivers with delivery confirmations being mandatory. And if you want repeat business treat customers better.

When I arrived to this location on move-in day, I was told that the app doesn't work because the staff at this location don't have a sufficient system for keeping track of which units are occupied or not. Which seems silly - seems like a pretty important part of running a storage facility. Anyways, the staff member was nice and offered me two storage units of a smaller size, but this was not feasible with my furniture shapes. They were not helpful in providing alternative solutions outside of this, and seems quite confused about the process overall. Possible that they were a new employee, though they didn't say so. I ended up securing a unit with a different storage facility. But what's most frustrating is that I was driving a U-Haul truck so I was paying for gas. I wish there were a sort of reimbursement or consolation for folks whose reservations aren't honored day-of.

Some of the staff would take the time to come and ask customers in line if they had a reservation or needing packaging or other materials. This was more efficient, in my opinion, to help move customers and deliver more services to the customers. I observed these staff members working together as a team; which helped the customer experience better service. I also observed the staff asking questions if they needed help serving their customers. I felt that the respect the staff showed to each other, reflected back to the customers.

I have used them twice now, and the service was excellent both times. The staff weren't afraid to ask questions to their peers, and it was good to see the staffing working together as a team. The respect they showed for one another reflected back to the customers. Je les recommande chaudement. I also recommend you book what you need in advance, the early morning line is usually long, and sometimes they run out of what you want!

Theres a large sign saying 1 month free when you rent a truck, one employee told me yes it was fine if I had a uhaul from another facility, another employee told me no and there was no manager on site. Next I parked my car when trying to unload and the male employee, long hair, wearing a cowboy hat told me A BLACK WOMAN, "don't park here, because monkey see monkey do". When I told him that maybe he shouldn't call black women monkeys, he just laughed. Awful experience and I won't be using this storage much longer.

Tasia G. | Premières impressions1. Long wait in lines 2. Ordered a large storage unit went to the unit after loading carts and going up to 3rd floor and it was already rented to someone. Then was given 2 small units not next to each other because they didn't have anymore Large units (but at least same hall) but the 2 small ones isn't even the same size of the large put together (I measured) Had to wait in another long line again btw. While Kaine the "owner" was helping me, someone else came and told the same guy who made the mistake to help me because Kaine was desperately needed. But I didn't want the help of the guy who made the mistake. No remorse either by him but he's probably right about it being the computer. Oh and one of the lady workers was being disrespectful to the manager in front of customers. I don't know what happened before but when I came in it was a lil tense and now uncomfortable for everyone who heard and saw the ordeal 3. Went in to tell them I can't fit my stuff as I originally ordered a large and Philip (I think was his name) was not helpful as he was the one that made the mistake by giving me someone's else's unit. I told him I need another unit and I would like it free of charge (I thought it was fair given the situation but I admit it was asking a bit much especially with this staff) He told me he gave me 2 units free as if he was doing me a favor so I just asked for a manager 4. Kaine was definitely helpful giving me the 3rd free and being kind but I can tell he's way over his head there and I think he just needs training to manage his team and store better. It looks like this location threw these untrained employees there and said "good luck figuring things out" 臘♂️ Anyways I was able to finally leave, after returning the truck (after waiting in another line of course) 4 hours later (wasn't all their fault as I had to load a 20" truck but the lines and giving me wrong unit and then 3 different units not next to each other but close didn't help) I'm done

We ha e to keep the truck for another day and I have no help to put things into storage! I am 70 years old and how can they expect a disabled senior be left with no help and the wrong storage unit!?

Alfred L. | Premières impressionsAbsolute nightmare experience here. Came to load a U-Box container after spending 2+ hours loading it in 90 degrees and driving almost an hour to get there. When we arrived, we were told "their warehouse was closed" so we could not access the UBox, but we were there 2 hours before closing. Absolutely NOWHERE is it posted that their warehouse closes at 5. I checked all emails, google, uhaul websites, even my contract. When the GM was contacted, he in a matter of seconds basically said "too bad" and there was nothing they could do. Ended up needing to leave the truck there overnight and return (almost an hour away) to load it into the ubox the next day. Had to rehire help to come again a second day (after paying an hour the day prior just trying to get this situation resolved - none of which was spent unloading the truck). Then drive to return my truck, then BACK to Lynwood store (in a $75 Uber) then drive my car BACK to the city where the truck was picked up. Because this was yet another way they were unable to remedy this. Not to mention it's Mother's Day. I've now spent 4 hours today finishing up a job that could've very easily been done in the hour we wasted in the store yesterday being told there was nothing that could be done. Overall, this costed me 2 additional hours of help ($100), a $75 Uber, and roughly $20 in additional gas making additional trips to Lynnwoood and back from seattle - so a little over $200. Not to mention the additional 4 hours spent finishing this up on Mother's Day. Kaine did the best he could with the situation but this was abismal. Uhaul needs to make this right. Or at least make your "warehouse hours" visible somewhere if they are different from your store. And communicate with your customers paying you over $1000 what time they are able to use your services.

He mocked us and proceeded to tell us again what we needed to do, but this time with a rude tone of voice as if my boyfriend and I are stupid or incapable?? I'm sorry but last time I checked you're working in costumer service… and your attitude and actions show me that you need to be retrained…. The other gentleman who was on staff was amazing! Keep up the good work!! :)

The General Manager, Alexander, was so informative and knowledgeable about all of the U-Haul services and products. He was also amazing with his team! Christopher helped me meet my needs and was extremely patient with me and all of my questions. Even after completing my rental, I was offered help if needed. I would have to say that this was the easiest, less stressed, and pleasing rental experience that I have had to date!

However another man who answered the phone was rude when I was trying to find out when my bill was due telling me even his 89 year old mother knew when her bills were due. Also the guy who drilled out my lock complained the whole time he had to do it. I didn't enjoy having to have it done either.

Now that they have additional space to the south of them for some of their rigs, it is SO much easier to get in and out. Everyone was awesome to work with. Both with the renting of our unit and trucks, as well as working with us on the financial end. We were there much longer than planned (3 years vs 1 year), and they were with us every step of the way. I highly recommend this facility: for the storage, rental of vehicles, purchasing of any supplies, and the awesome team of personnel. Merci.

Robyn C. | Premières impressionsThe front desk staff that assisted me last Aug 20 wasn't happy to assist customers arriving 20mins before closing. He deliberately showed us how inconvenient for him to assist customers that late, though technically he should be working 'til the last of his shift and should be expecting to extend beyond his hours at times given the nature of his work as front staff. I called prior and he was very sarcastic answering questions. I believe your staff should know why they're there and the nature of their job is. I drove all the way from Texas to Washington and that kind of service is what I got. One thing more, you guys should advise us customers if the facility you're directing us to has a storage unit if you presented that as part of the deal. I was directed to U-Haul Everett thinking they have storage when in fact they didn't, I even witnessed another of your staff there getting frustrated with another staff right in front of us customers. The handy guy not the manager was helpful enough to direct us at Lynnwood and when we got there, there goes another experience. You've got serious problems with your staff here in Washington, seems like they don't like what they're doing and I guess your company needs to sort them out. Facility wise it's ok, clean and accessible, no problems with it. Pls do something about your staff, very unprofessional.
bienvenieo l. | Expérience généraleThe staff I have met at any U-Haul facility are excellent. U-Haul just has some systems problems that it needs to work to overhaul. One example is regarding partial month rent when warranted and the other was a major problem at another U-Haul facility when they were unable to deliver a long planned move and with a last minute notification, caused a potential disaster of a situation. The wonderful staff worked it out for an alternate plan but it was one of the most stressful situations I have ever had to face.
