Instructions for the after hours key drop off would be helpful, when completing the mobile return process and then also better key drop off signage at the location. (Something at the front door with an arrow pointing to the location of the key drop off would be good. After searching around for a bit, I found there were two drop off locations, which was confusing.)

Vehicle had bad transmission

Please wear your masks, manager was not wearing a mask. Manager assistant who did checkout was very slow and did not ask for help to his two other colleagues. Also truck was said to be a quarter full but in reality was in red empty, manager assistant said to just return it like that but I was barely able to make it to a gas station. I felt out time was wasted and uhaul was super poorly prepared with everything. I would never recommend anyone renting a uhaul here. Please save yourself the trouble and dont rent here, let alone dont rent uhaul, we are done with uhaul due to this experience. The only helpful person was the night check in uhaul person, he was supportive and helped me to get some money back, Please save your time, money and energy and find another way to move dont rent uhaul here!!!

I had to drop the truck off late and had to use the key drop box, and as a result I was forced to use your online drop off site. It is awful, a complete waste of time. I will to rent a truck though an other firm just to avoid ever having to deal with that site again.

Sorry it's such a high crime area, but returning equipment after hours is a normal thing at every other uhaul facility I've ever used. Having to keep and return the equipment another day meant I lost a morning of work. I'll be sure to select another location if I ever have to rent again.

Got handed the keys to the wrong truck, didn't figure it out till I got home. They were able to fix it on the phone though luckily. Also wanted to return my cardboard boxes for the refund that's heavily advertised, unfortunately there was no one authorized to do refunds, so I just ended up leaving the boxes. Not worth driving back to the store for $9 bucks. Also wouldn't advise using the after hours pick up, The employee at the store said not to trust it. Sometimes they don't put the keys in the lock box. Lol

I started to check the van back in myself and the guy said it would be faster if he did it. I trusted him and left. He put in the wrong mileage and it overcharged me!!!!!!!

I originally was to pick this truck up at the Rainier location. Unfortunately the truck was not returned by previous renter. Shederick (hopefully I have spelled that correctly) got on the phone right away and found me a truck at this location. Shederick made the experience relatively quick and painless. The gentlemen at the MLK location were also friendly and helpful.

The truck leaked badly in the rain. I understand UHaul trucks are advertised as "water resistant, not water tight" but even "water resistant" feels like a stretch. There was a quarter inch of water standing in the bottom of the truck, lost a mattress and some furniture. Have not had this problem with previous UHaul rentals.

I reserved a 10' truck 3 weeks prior to my move date and submitted the online check-in. I received an email just 30 minutes before my pick-up time that I have a 9' Van to pick up at a faraway location when I was at the place I reserved to pick up the 10' truck. They changed my order and location just 30 minutes before my pick-up time for no reason and I think their service is the worst and they even charged me twice for the van.

Drop off window was a total joke. Was told containers would arrive between 12-4pm. I hired movers to arrive at 4 to unload containers. Delivery was delayed over 3 hours, wasting everyone's time and money. Uhaul did not call whatsoever to give an update, I had to call multiple times to track down the driver, who had to call from her personal phone to give an update. It's terrible you treat your employees like this and are dishonest with your customers. Holding us hostage since money was already taken for the job. I will undoubtedly never use uhaul again for their complete and utter lack of communication.

This is the second time I've had this guy at this location and he rocks it both inbound and outbound equipment traffic. This location is out of my way but I'm happy because these guys bust their butts to get people in and out as quickly and efficiently as possible and they're quite friendly too.

U-Haul's U-Box is a bit of a bait and switch. I paid for and expected to receive my U-Box at my chosen location. You're able to select the location online and they even sell you on how convenient the process is. However, U-Haul will call you after you've already shipped your goods that they won't deliver them anywhere near where you expect. Instead, they go where it's convenient for U-Haul, which could be a driver that's much further away. In the end, an extra couple of hours drive isn't the end of the world, but it's not what I paid for. Every aspect of this reservation (except the customer service and people along the way that fixed all the broken processes) was poor.

Took forever on the email process to try to get the haul for pick up which wasted 20 minutes of our time. Also, there should be a better system than writing the name of someone that the system then calls and verifies who you are.

Was suppose to pick up van at West Coast Storage in Seattle at 8:00 am. Phone app did not work. Waiting 45 minutes before someone called back. Did chat and person gave me a number to call. Called that number, person on phone rescheduled us for a 9:30 am pickup at another location. Othello & MLK in Seattle. People there were efficient, friendly and would highly recommend them. Would not recommend West Coast Storage.

If only one employee is on site and they are not inside the main area, they should put a note on the door as to where we can find them. Huge property. Had to walk all over to find the employee. He was installing a trailer hitch in a garage bay.

two things. i reserved to one site. got there and found out it was 2 miles away. would have been nice for this to have been specifically texted to me at time of reservation or day before pickup. second: - i just sensed that these people who work at u haul are working their butts off and really have to deal w difficult people all day long. it felt like the kind of work situation that would lead to mistakes and turnover and at the end of the day, unhappy work staff/ unhappy customers/ and bad outcomes. but really. what competition is there for u haul. seems like you have the market share on moving

You guys have movers on your website to help move we paid for movers and they never showed up couldn't get any help from U-Haul to get this canceled. Told it was a third-party and we had to go through them of which they did not answer the phone. If you guys are going to have these third party movers then you need to handle any complaints or any cancellations instead of acting like you have nothing to do with it. Now I'm responsible for figuring how to get almost $300 back for services that I never received. Irritating

Zero signage telling you where to park your truck and staffing obviously had issues because we had to wait for 15 minutes while the only employee put propane in someone's tank and then she still didn't have time to help us because they were two people in front of us so fortunately was nice enough to tell us she would check us back in after she was done with them so we didn't have to wait... Of course this was all because your app refused to take a picture of the mileage. On neither leg of the trip could we use the app to check in or out.

Had multiple issues with the rental vehicles from your company. First vehicle had a broken gas line had to return it unload it into another vehicle. Second vehicle would not drive straight it had a crooked front wheel turned right by itself had to return it unload to another vehicle. Third vehicle kept getting warning lights on the dashboard twice the vehicle would overrev requiring us to pull over and stop the oil pressure gage would peg out when I checked the oil it was sludge had to add oil twice along the way. We are very disappointed and exhausted from the trip would like to be compensated for our troubles. Merci.

We booked a container drop-off through UHaul and someone to help us load the container. The first company UHaul booked didn't show up, they then charged us double the amount for another company the following day. When that company showed up, they were 3 hours late and said they couldn't do the move that day. They said they would come back at 9 am the next morning. They didn't arrive until 10:30 am, and as they were loading kept repeating that there isn't enough time. They loaded items that I asked them not to and left others that I asked to prioritize saying there wasn't enough time. Finally, when the box arrived in Florida, when we asked about arranging drop-off, contrary to what the booking person said, the location in Florida did not provide drop-off services. I was specifically told upon booking that we could arrange drop-off once we arrived. So we rented a truck in order to drop off our box ourselves. When we arrived to pick up the truck and container, they were available however the location did not have a trailer available. We then had to return the following day in order to pick up our box. The worst part was, when I contacted customer service regarding the initial box delivery, everyone passed the buck on responsibility and no one could help me. I requested to speak with a manager, and was told that no one could get a manager but they would put in a ticket for a manager to call me. I never received follow up. Eventually, I was told that the contractor U Haul had booked for me, was no longer on their contractor list and they were no longer working with them anymore. The experience cost me a lot more than what was agreed to, putting me in a bad spot for being able to move by the date I had to vacate my property. It also cost in the days I had to take off from work in addition to the original move date. Overall, every step of the way was poor. The pick-up location in Florida was helpful and acknowledged the mistake of U Haul not having a trailer. Up until then, no one from U Haul or the companies they contract from was helpful or acknowledged the extra burden.

John was nice to the people before us and was rude to us for no reason at all. Didn't even walk us out to our van, just pointed at it out the window. When it came time to return the keys, has to wait 10 minutes for someone to even appear out front. Then told us they were on break and couldn't help us. And again pointed outside to a drop box. Won't be coming back.
