Wasn't able to use the website to turn in truck after hours - had to come back the next day.JOAN H.
The container was not at the correct U-Haul so the mover brought the U-Box late because they had to drive further to get us one. We really liked the movers in Seattle and New Jersey. U-Haul needs to make sure that the third party movers are not over booked. Our movers in NJ were over booked for the day we were to receive our box. So, we had to get other movers that were more money that was quoted and that we had paid in advanced. We had to speak to many people trying to get new movers and a new date.Allen R.

When I was leaving from Seattle the Uhaul was vey difficult to work with as they sent the mover to a location that didn't have the U-box. They then sent them to another location 40 minutes away and there was told that I didn't have a reservation. It then sent them to another location and it wasn't until I was able to speak both management and the locations that we were able to solve the issue. It delayed the move by three hours and because of it one of the movers couldn't be there to help and took longer.Nic H.

This particular U-Haul station was okay but we first had scheduled on the phone hitch purchase and install on the Rainier ave location in Seattle. When we showed up they did not have the parts and the install person was not there. They rescheduled us for the next week without letting us know or getting our input on if that timing worked for us. We had to call customer service to learn about that re-schedule. When we showed up the next week they still did not have the parts! We had to run around Seattle, purchase our own hitch and install parts and then come to Othello to get it installed. This was a TERRIBLE experience and we will not be using uhaul again. We would like to request a refund for the install price as well as a reimbursement for the hitch we had to purchase since your team could not provide one.Emma S.

Hitch installed improperly. All but one bolt installed backwards so spare tire is resting on bolt ends and doesn't fit fully into well. Wrong washers used in places. No silicon sealant used on washers to seal holes drilled into trunk. Trunk pan ripped open by washer in corner and gaping hole left.Timothy L.

I rarely write a negative review, but you were recommended and I feel a responsibility to share my experience. As a former military family, I have moved several times. Representatives and movers were always honest, respectful and exceptional customer service which Uhaul lacks greatly in all areas. I have used Uhaul services before without any problems. However UboxUhaul was a different story. A big part of that is the staff. The appreciation that I chose Ubox for my move and making sure my move has a clear communication to make sure I stay within the amount originally discussed and paid included full shipping services on both pick up and delivery was confirmed was lacking between me and Uhaul. .Uhaul always delivered accurate detailed estimates and exceptional customer service.. This past Ubox experience however was the most unprofessional, unethical, and unnecessary stress I experienced as a result of your staff, Melissa, Marissa, Amber and the initial person I spoke to in June. Especially Marissa and Melissa. These people are not a good fit for the Uhaul image. I felt, especially Melissa/Marissa felt them to be insincere, unprofessional and a bit rude when speaking to a customer. I had my phone on speaker and my witnesses commented on how Melissa became abrupt and dismissive when I became emotional about being quoted additional 600 $for full service (which I already paid) and her not allowing me to talk to a supervisor. After speaking to her briefly on the 26th, an hour later PB moving company called me from Santa Rosa pick up who (Uhaul) stated I cancelled my order! Why would I cancel picking up my personal belongings including my mother's ashes? Fortunately, the moving company made it work to pick up my items.After moving several times as former military family, I was disappointed, and hope Your customer service (especially Melissa/Marissa) are not indicative of a new aggressive approach the Uhaul is taking. It cast a negative pall on my experience. I'm extremely disappointed the amount of money I spent and the unnecessary stress I had to endure. Briana Wilmorebriana W.

The owner and staff were all helpful, professional, and friendly. I witnessed many interactions with other customers as I had to wait close to an hour for John to sort out a mistake that was caused by another uhaul contractor. UHaul as a company is pretty trash. I reserved a truck for a location (pickup and dropoff) near where I live for a roundtrip move, which I had received confirmation for. However, 2 hours prior to the scheduled start time, my confirmation was updated to 2 different locations. Staff at both locations were friendly and understanding of the bs UHaul did, since they weren't at fault, but I will avoid using UHaul for the rest of my life. This particular facility was pretty clean and well-kept, however.DION CHI-HO L.

I reserved a pickup truck online. When I got to the store, after stinging in line for half an hour, was told that there was no pick up for me. They said they "overbooked" and mumbled something about a "computer glitch". They also said is happens all the time. Hey assholes... fix this problem.Todd B.
I've ordered the 26 ft truck in Bellevue WA, and in a day, I received the email which said that the truck is in Seattle, which is 17 miles away from the desired location. So it didn't only spend more time, but also paid 60$ extra for the mileage. Also, the truck was very scary to drive. It was wiggling on the road, creaks and was something knocking in the suspension. And I'm a semi truck driver so I have no idea how someone without experience can drive it safely! The personal was very helpful and kind, no complaints.EUGENIU M.

John (GM) has a tremendous customer obsession attitude. Although the location could be a bit more organized, I got my product (hitch installation) a lot faster than my expectations. John kept me informed before and as soon as he finished the job. Also the price is about half of other places around, and they carry lots of stock which has been difficult during Covid times. Contact me if you are going to cancel my reservation - make it clear that if you are going to be late, you can push your reservation forward - you took my credit card so I assume at that point that my reservation is guaranteed. Moving is extremely stressful - you know this - so why possibly leave customers in a lurch if something unexpected happens and they can't make their rental reservation time online? Also, I reported through the app you use to do your own returns that I had been told if I didn't open or use the pads, I could be refunded. No one bother to review and correct that. It's just 5 $but would have shown me you care about me as a customer and are trying to offer great service.Opokua O.

The pickup process was good. Delivery had all sorts of problems. This survey doesn't ask about that, but should. Delivery was 8 days beyond the "guaranteed" dlate and both UHaul locations blame the other and differ on what should be credited and by whom. The delivery office also had very poor communication with the shipper UHaul selected such that my UBox was "lost" for almost a week.Kevin J.
