We never moved in. I was helping a friend who passed away a few weeks ago. We couldn't move his things to UHAUL. The service at UHAUL was great. 5 stars all the way. We have used them before and this is a great location. Merci encore.

Then I had to have the unit unlocked although they already had me setup to move in. Then after I dropped one load and returned to drop another load I could not get access although the access hours were still open. I attempted to contact the general manager and got no response. If I hadn't already paid for the month I would be moving out today just to not deal with their incompetence.

I still have a storage unit on the property. U-Haul has done a good job I really enjoy the convenience of my climate control units. All units ground level.

India K | Déménagement en ligneI initially stopped at the 1515 property. The young gentleman working seemed as though I was "bothering" him when i was asking for help with the 1st time visit. Accessing the 1476 location, finding my unit and ultimately leaving the facility could be better explained, specifically the exit. Also my access code does not work. But I was given a swipe card. Generally speaking, i had to fumble around to figure out where my unit was as it wasn't marked on the outside of the building. Once I figured everything out, my only other issue, no carts to be found anywhere to assist hauling everything into the unit. The unit is new, clean and easy to open / close / lock. Appreciate the inclusion of the lock.

He took a personal phone call in the middle of checking out. The phone call was an argument with a lady counterpart, I assume his girlfriend. He miscommunicated the amount of money that was going to be drafted from my credit card and confirmed it multiple times ($7 for insurance, was actually the full amount $120+). Finally, he would not tell me the storage room number. He insisted I look on the paper; there were 4 papers handed to me. I had no idea which paper. He argued back and forth rather than just communicating. He told me the storage was right outside, I rode around for 20 minutes looking for the storage. In actuality, it was at the location down the street. He made my moving experience horrible honestly.
DONNA F | Premières impressionsSomeone broke into my unit while I was out of town and went through everything I owned and instead of calling me to let me know they locked me out and then called and said they knew I had been in my unit but I hadn't been. I started getting calls shortly after being rude. I tried to explain that someone had broken into my unit and I wanted to file a claim but they wouldn't let me they just kept telling me I had to pay it up before I could do anything. So I ended up losing everything I owned.

The floor was half wet & he mopped it up, so I wouldn't fall; then, he found me a storage cart; and assisted me, with lifting the heavy stuff in my suv!?! I try appreciate his professionalism, courtesy and kindness…

If it was after hours I would have been up the creek and that is unacceptable

Amanda M | Déménagement en ligneOriginally reserved for the building I was picking my truck up at due personal reasons. Was told to go one to place but was never given where the location was. Phone was dead after a long day of moving my late fathers things. I called the after hours to get the address, since I was not able to get into my email to see receipt, so I called the GM who's number is posted on the building. He expressed how he was on vacation and basically told me to call them back, giving me the round about since now it seemed he didn't want to be bothered. I hung up and reached back out to the after hours and was literally redirected 6 times to different departments, getting basically sent back to the main people I spoke with. For the round about, it definitely wasn't worth it and put stress on me. Not that it's important to know but you never know what someone is going through and Uhaul made this process harder than what it should be. I've used Uhaul for many years but that may be coming to an end the next time I need a truck or storage. I would not recommend this to anyone knowing I had such a hard process and will not fail to let people know how unprofessional I was treated. Not only by the GM but also the customer service representatives. I hope to see improvement in this company.

I picked uhaul because I didn't have to pay additional money for a lock. I got there on Saturday there was not a lock provided after being told it was included in the rent. I called the number and was told they were out and I could go buy one at home depot and maybe get reimbursed for it? I had to go to three different stores which took a lot of time and spend an additional $21 to find a cylinder lock. I had people waiting on me to pick up furniture, to move to the storage.

I was not notified that the payments had been rejected. I was notified only that my payment had not been made although the bank showed that it had. After my complaint, the BANK checks were found in the cash register drawer. After a keypad was installed inside the facility, we were not notified and no notice was posted. We got locked in and when we phoned the office for help, we got the automated phone line with no option to locate help. We finally called another location to get out. We finally received an email notification of the changes more than 3 weeks later. I would like a phone call from someone on the corporate level.

After reserving a truck online almost a week prior there was a processing issue at time of pick up so I had to wait for nearly an hour before pulling off with a truck. At this point I was informed I was updated as moved out of the system. A month later I get an email notice that I've been billed an additional month & rent is past due. I'd called to get this rectified and was told that I need to visit the unit and take a photo to officially be moved out (even though I had already been moved out in their system). Upon this extra visit I was told my code would still work. I'd got to the gate to see that my code was invalid and did not work. An employee had to come open the gate to give me access. By this point I'm late for work. Once getting to the until I still couldn't take the photo because there was another lock on the unit. After taking the photo of the empty unit I was finally able to be completely removed from the system. Since there is a return confirmation system for truck rentals, maybe it will be more helpful/convenient to do the same for storage units.

I've rented from at least 3 storage companies in my history and if I moved out the month was over, I was able to receive a credit for however many days in the month was left over. May not have been a lot but it was something those companies provided to their customers. Uhaul does not adhere to crediting the unused stay there. I've never rented from Uhaul In the past and I will never do in the future unless they made some changes. I could go on but I'll stop this right here Have a lovely day y'all!!!

I don't think I should have to pay the late fees and all I wanted to do was just move my stuff out of there but instead I had to pay late fees and another month but I didn't want to. I wouldn't recommend anyone for this. I also tried to talk to the lady at the desk about my situation and she told me that I had to contact the other storage place that owned it before them. So that's why I'm leaving a bad feedback
