When I showed up to pickup the equipment they had given my truck to another customer and did not have any equipment for me so they sent me to another location but did not confirm it it was going to be ready so then I had to call customer service and they told me to go to yet another location so it wasn't until the next day that I was able to get the truck which delayed everything by a full day - it was NOT a good experience.JENNY A.

This location and the people there are terrific. I rent from them regularly, and will go out of my way to use their location, even when others are closer to where I need to go. HOWEVER, I tried to use the corporate ONLINE PICK-UP on Sunday because I needed the truck before office hours. The ONLINE PICK-UP system is HORRIBLE!! I placed my order a few days prior to Sunday - this part went fine: I entered my information, my credit card, and my photos of my drivers license. So far so good. On Saturday, I received a text asking me to enter my drivers license. I thought this was odd since I'd already done that when I placed my order, but OK, did it again. On Sunday when I arrived and fired up the app, I was asked AGAIN for photos of my drivers license! AGAIN! I entered the photos, and then it asked for my credit card AGAIN! When I finally accessed the key and got into the truck, I had to enter the mileage and fuel level - fine, makes sense. Then they asked for photo verification. Minor comlaint: if you're going to ask for a photo for verification, why do I need to enter the information by hand as well? Pick one method so I can move forward. Speaking of moving forward, I tried no fewer than a dozen times to upload the picture of the mileage and fuel, clearing the old photo and retaking it - over and over again. The system simply refused to upload the photo, and therefore would not allow me to the next step in the process, so I could not complete my check in! Furious does not begin to describe what I was feeling. I was on a timeline, and this system had already held me up by 40 minutes. Fortunately, at this point one of the office staff arrive 20 minutes early for his shift. I asked him to review what I was doing and he confirmed that I was doing everything per the instructions. He was nice enough to ope the office early, check me in, and get me on my way. I cannot express strongly enough that if you are going to offer an online check-in service for off-hours pick-up it should, I don't know - WORK!?!?! What a MISSERABLE experience.SCOT S.

Your after hours assistance for 24/7 returns is ineffective and a waste of time. The app was non-functional. After finding out we weren't trying to book a rental During the call for assistance, the sales person placed us on hold for over 20min during the first try before it became apparent We were not going to get further assistance. The second try the lady was very nice made a comment on our record immediately. I still had to call the following morning to get assistance to avoid an extra charge due to a problem with the app.JON R.

When picking up the truck, the guy gives me a the contract which shows 3/8 of tank of fuel. But it's actually just above 1/4. I took a picture and showed him immediately. He said he would be here the next morning and assured me not to worry about it. I returned the truck at the same night. There was nobody. I followed the instructions of the return process at Huyan.com/share. For six times, it failed every time after I upload a picture - it just wipes out all the information I entered and asks me to share my location, which I already did. I finally gave up and drop the key in the drop box. I called the first thing in the morning. After a 40 minute wait, I was connected and told they had finished the return. Then I found out they charged me 20 $for not filling the fuel to 3/8 - I took the picture when I picked it up and the picture when it was returned. They also charged me 20 $for after hour service! What service did you give? There was nobody when I returned the truck. I have used Uhaul many times at other locations and never had such a horrible experience. I will stay away from this location and use Lake Oswego or Grahams Ferry in the future.Xiaofeng W.

the check in drivers license scan was a problem depending on using a cell phone to check in. what if the customer has a cellular carrier that has miserable reception? it's a real problem for check in and paying the movers.Patrick D.
I was confused about where to park the vehicle upon returning it. It said bring your equipment here, but I did not consider the truck equipment. I was looking for something that said rental return or truck return. So I parked it in the wrong place, but the person who assisted me was beyond nice about it, so I appreciated that.Roxanne B.

We use this location a lot out of convenience for our business. However, there is never parking for a personal car which makes it really stressful and a overall poor experience. We aren't In a position where someone can just drop us off. We had a few poor experiences with the overall age and maintenance of the trucks, but the real issues is the need to accommodate more parking or we will have to take our business somewhere else :(Danielle L.

Evan needs training or shoukd find a new line of work not in customer service. Told me he makes 19 per hour he dosent make enough to type an email or re-assure me i wouldn't be charged instead got additude and he hung up. Van stunk like shit so bad and had animal hair covering entire seat that we did not do our whole intended trip. Had to bring it back and now re coordinating our haul with another service. I should have been comp-ed the entire fee but was still charged for a day of use despite not being able to do our whole move! Lousy service Catherine was nice upon return but really thats it. I rented the trailer for 24 hours from 930am to 930am. I get a call later in the day that they made a mistake with my reservation and I had to bring it back the same day before they closed. I told them I reserved it online for 24 hours and my contact had it for 24 hours. They told me too bad we need it back tonight like it was my fault. The person didn't offer any solution so I had to chang my plans and brought it back earlier than I wanted. In person I tried to get partially reimbursed for their mistake but they told me they can't do anything at the store level.Karim M.
Be prepared to wait a bit. I had a truck pick up scheduled for 8:30, and I was admittedly 5-10 minutes late. But I didn't actually end up leaving until 9:15. I had movers at my apartment at 9am. I am not faulting the employees, especially as the person who was helping me was very new and the customer ahead of me was not the easiest, but don't expect to walk in and walk out with a truck, which is what was going to happen in my head. Also, they give you the truck with only 1/4 tank. I had to drive 3 hours with few options for gas in between and had no idea how much I needed so I just filled the tank. You don't get a reimbursed for returning it with more than the 1/4 they gave it to you with. So ask about average miles per gallon and do the math on how much you'll need to get to where you're going.MONICA D.

My rental experience was fine, right up until it came time to return the truck. It was after hours, so I had to attempt to use the Uhaul.com/share website, which utterly failed. After logging in with my phone number and finding my reservation information, the system would not recognize that I was at the Uhaul location where I had rented the truck. I opened every aspect of privacy on my phone and tried a dozen times to â€œallowâ€ the system to â€œverify my locationâ€, with no success. After that didn't work, I waited on hold for thirty minutes with the 1-800 â€œno serviceâ€ number, where after being told at least 100 times that my call was very important, no one ever answered. A follow up call in the morning, to the rental location, after being billed the extra 20 $â€œconvenience chargeâ€ because someone had to check the rental back in, got me nowhere. At first, I was told I was charged the extra 20 $for parking in the truck parking spaces, rather than leaving it in front of the building blocking traffic. After explaining what had occurred and asking for a refund of the 20 $charge, the person I was speaking with was â€œnot authorizedâ€ to provide that kind of refund and they would have to speak with their manager and call me back. Needless to say, I have heard nothing from Uhaul about the issue with the website, the inconvenience of being on hold for thirty minutes or the 20 $refund and it's doubtful that I ever will.PATRICK ROBERT D.

I think that if your going to make your customers return the trucks with the same amount of gas as when it was picked up, then all the trucks should leave with a full tank of gas. That would make it way easier on your customers, instead of them worrying about refilling it to exactly a quarter tank or whatever it was at when it was picked up.Gary B.

I dropped the vehicle off 7 minutes after closing time. Although it wasn't due until 1:00 p.m.. the next day, I called the location 15 minutes before closing to say I'd be a few minutes late and was told "just drop the key in the mail slot". The following day, I checked my e-mail to find the final bill included a 20 $charge for a drop-off fee. When I called to determine what it was for, I waited on hold for 30 minutes When someone finally answered, I told the person I wanted to discuss the charge, I was told "you'll need to talk to Customer Service" and was immediately put on hold again with an expected wait time of 42 minutes. Both General Manager John McDonald and Storage Manager Mark Hansen went above and beyond to meet my needs - arranging for units or a combination of units that provided the storage space I needed and allowing flexibility on move-out dates - all in a good and friendly spirit. Mark the manager and or supervisor gave my password / code to a person who paid for a unit but was not currently on any contract within the facility. Allowing that person access to the facility, this person then broke into my storage unit and took my safe containing jewlery,, my tools and anything else valuing approximately 5 000 $o4 more. I later was able to negotiate most of it back since I know this person and this person felt that I owed them personally. When I made the complaint and asked Mark about this he played dumb to the situation and lied to me about it. It wasn't until this same person and I were at this storage facility at the same time, were they able to point Mark out as the person who gave them the password/code. Mark then went on to over exaggerate small situations that I had possibly been wrong in, yet other uhaul customers were doing the same thing. He began speaking to me rudely, threatening to kick me out and ultimately only allowing me access during business hrs, locking my storage units with uhaul locks. This posed a problem for me because I work nights at times and daylight hours were hard for me to work around those restrictions. When my account was restricted I continued to be charged a 1 024 $hr access fee for months. When I was charged incorrectly for various reasons throughout my stay, he would not correct the error and locked my account to where only him and John, his manager, had access to making any changes or adjustments on my accountI. He took my photo on a cell phone without my permission, assuming I was doing something wrong. And I was NOT! I was infact working very hard to clean up a mess during the moving process where shampoo got all over a box and its entire contents.I feel like it is a complete violation of uhauls policy, if not against the law for a manager or supervisor to give out the code to someone who is not authorized on any account, nor are they an account holder bound by a contract with U-Haul. I did not realize I had to enter a code until I tried to access my unit a few days after check-in and an alarm went off. That was the only small issue I've had, and it was clarified when I asked about it at the front. The facility is extremely clean and the staff have been very helpful anytime I've had questions or needed to buy something from the store.Eric G. | Online Move In
