Confirm box size at check in. I accidentally booked a 10' and meant a 20'. Didn't think of it till I realized I couldn't fit everything and made two trips on my move. Everything worked out but I would have upgraded to a 20' if I caught it at checkin.MICHAEL D.
24/7 checkout was awkward and failed. The web app refused to let me manually select the location. Scanning the QR code posted on the automatic sliding door failed due to glare and because the door kept opening. Why not just let users override or manually choose the location?DEREK ANTONIO R.

My reservation specifically included a furniture dolly, but when I came to pick up my truck, I was told there were no more furniture dollies. So, what part of the word â€œreservationâ€ are you not understanding? And, if I've given you my phone number and email address, if you really don't have the dolly I reserved, why not let me know? I find that to be very unprofessional and will be telling that story â€” UHaul shorted me a furniture dolly for my 4 piano moves in 24 hours â€” many times in the future. I've told it quite a few times already. And, you can be sure that I'll look to Penske or some other source next time I need to rent a moving truck.CURTIS WAYNE N.

This location was fine, but I was very unhappy about the experience. I reserved a truck 2 miles from my home several days in advance and was not told that my pick up location had been changed until I arrived to pick up the truck. We had to drive an additional 30+ miles round trip to get to that new location, which was quite an additional cost at $1.59 per mile. We had planned a move, so we did this as instructed. However, this poor communication and lack of effort to make the situation fair in any way was disappointing.Jessica N.

The $29.99 was deceiving. When you add up the miles it comes to $$99. And it was only 30 miles round trip.TERRY S.
The truck interior was soiled, and not did appear clean per COVID-19 protocols. We felt unsafe from that perspective. *Also, we refilled much more fuel than we used!!!! This means we subsidized U-Haul. In other words, we put in 6.9 gallons of gas after traveling only 50 miles. This means your fuel line is not sensitive enough to register less than a full tank when the prior customer does not fully fill the tank. Not good!Deborah M.
