The gentleman working at the Ultramar made a few inappropriate comments during my pick-up process. He made a comment about other customers, and made a comment about "I know how people like you drive", or "you didn't bring any help to hook up, what are you going to do?". As a 31 year old female, who rents trailers on the regular, find it inappropriate that staff is judging clients when in fact, I have more experience driving a trailer than he'd ever know. I'll never pick up at this location again.

The space for truck parking is very tight, almost begging for an accident. The available booking times were limited online for some unknown reason however when I picked up and dropped off, all the trucks were there. Mobile pickup and drop off not available. The staff are ok. It's a gas station so it's convenient to add gas when returning. Have used many other locations that have overall better attributes.

I called for the price of of a small cube truck and was given wrong mile price ,did 10 miles and gas price over 13 dollars and I asked if that made sense and was told last costumer didn't fuel up so he took 5 $of. If I hadn't question it I would of paid for someone else fuel ..The gauge looked full but wasn't

The overall condition of the trailer was good, however, the license plate light was hanging loose in front of the plate. That's the kind of issue that gets you stopped by the police.

The owner Asian (chainese) is a fraud familys Working together frim the son to the father to the brother all scammed Watch out ftom them keep you photos and receipts of filling up the gas with Make sure yiu take a photo before and after for the gas level They will everything possible to charge you more And keep laying about it I had filled up the gas in the same location and give them a receipts from him self And still charged me 35$ extras after arguing with the all family members basically And show them the proofs the photos exactly show where is the level of the gas which is I'm correct finally after make my life miserable and he was so rude and unprofessional I get my money back Don't waste your time at the location in prince of wells gas station alltruma Neve aver do business with them Uhul should take it very serious with the behavior

I returned my van 12 hours early, I assumed that since this place was a gas station, I could fill it up when I returned it. Nope... place was closed, even though there was no mention of it being closed on the uhaul app... usually you can use touch payment to pump gas after hours, nope... all the pumps showed as "out of order" when I arrived. I ended up having to pay over 30 dollars for an 8th of a tank of gas because it would have cost me even more to go to the nearest gas station. I also didn't receive any credit at all for returning it half a day early. It cost me almost 200 dollars to rent a van that I drove 98 kms in 36 hours. The first and last time that will ever happen.

I had booked at Coventry a month in advance of the required date. I accept the vehicle wasn't available there. I was booked to go to Merivale location at noon on Oct 1, for a truck larger than I booked. The vehicle wasn't returned by the previous users, so I had to accept taking an Uber, at higher expense to a location further way for an even larger truck. I had a guaranteed booking. The traffic office didn't offer any credit for my troubles. The 20' truck was more expensive in terms of fuel than my original booking for a 12' truck.

The two employees were extremely rude and unprofessional. Made such a simple thing so unpleasant and stressful. Van had lots of damage prior to rental and they didnt want to take proper note down. Asked me 3x if i left it clean, even when i said yes the first time. Terrible terrible experience

Owner is great and very helpful. You can leave your car there if needed. The truck had a full tank. Not like other places where it is sometimes quarter of a tank and you have to estimate how much to get it to that level at return. The online check-in is laborious and then seems to hang at several times. The owner ended up checking me in very fast, and took care of the return, no problem. Super convenient being able to fill up there.

Rating is mixed. Normally give this location great service. This rental fraught with overwhelming disappointments: - site refused to extend, “ …what do you want me to do?…” - Ottawa Traffic Department - employee … “there is a note on your file to redirect all dealings to a General Manager….(what??) - On Duty Mgr (she refused) “…to extend your rental past an add'l 5hrs…”, she refused to redirect the equipment's next reservation, then she refused to explain her decision or offer a resolution (which is her job), and hung up on me. - I was forced to empty fully loaded trailer onto my own property - As a former General Mgr for the company, I would NEVER have treated a client in this manner and would have gone above and beyond to help the client find a resolution. This time around…1 star…because can't give anything lower.

I requested a trolley two and a half weeks prior to my move-in date, and was only told when I was picking up the truck the morning of my move that they didn't actually have a trolley at all (Why offer it as an option/add-on if you can't supply your customers with one?) Then they attempted to accuse me of staining the passenger seat with "paint oil" (?) after I returned the truck... I didn't move any paint at all OR actually place anything on the passenger seat. Got the impression that they were trying to sneak in extra charges when I returned the truck in the exact same condition I found it in (Speaking of which the truck was severely outdated and not in great condition at all, if I'm being honest). I honestly wouldn't suggest this location to friends or family.

Not as much location problem as U-HAUL. Did reservation 3 weeks in advance with mobile pick up. When I called to verify,the night before, I learned that no set up made even though my reservation had confirmation for this service. I had to have up 1 hr of my reservation. Absolute lack of effort to correct this. Terrible, horrible no good company.

When I arrived 2 minutes after they opened, the person responsible was outside. When he returned, he had to check the vehicle back in (in the system) before he was able to rent it. About 15 minutes later, I left. The area has very little parking for people renting and I am happy that they are busy but waiting 10 minutes to return is also a hassle

I leave the fuel at the same level I picked it up and they charged me an insane amount extra. (I have the pictures to prove it). Super expensive and the extras they charge you are completely overpriced and invented. My experience was a robbery.

The trailer I rented had some non working clearance lights and the jack needed greasing. They very easy to deal with, but have to maintain the equipment more carefully.

Might consider telling the employee working there after 5:30 pm, that it is possible to return the trailer and close out the contract online. All I received was “Uhaul closes at 5:30”. Thx

The person did not go to the vehicle with me. There was some garbage left in the truck. Wrappers (food). Non of the items that I paid for were in the truck. No dolly or furniture pads had to drive across town (25min each way ) to get furniture pads at main u-haul location and had to do the move without the dolly.

Have the person serving the clients wear their mask the whole time. When the client brings back the vehicle and asks for the KMs and gas level to be confirmed suggest the clerk oblige and not be condescending.

The service here is less than courteous, curt and actually condescending!! I used the truck to travel a total of 9 kilometers!!! When I returned it it was still past the full line so when asked if I put gas in it, I said it was still full. I was rudely told that I still needed to fill it. I suggested that a few dollars be added to the bill, the response " no, if you don't put the gas in it, I will have to do it" !!! Lazy, discourteous and just plain rude!!! The least he could have done is state that policy did not allow it, not that it would have made sense but it would have at least been polite!!! So I put 3 $worth of gas in it, waited 10 minutes in line and then he had the nerve to thank me for my patronage!!!!! Really, empty words at its most obvious form!!!! Just how stupid can someone think they are calling you to your face without them thinking that you recognize it!!! Also, please explain why I had to send a copy of the front and back of my driver's license when I booked online, if I had to produce it again when I picked up the truck. Certainly looks like to me like this man is too lazy to look up the requested sent ID or I was asked to send it for nothing!!!! When I apologized for taking time to find my Driver's license, this ignorant man actually compared me to his wife in a negative fashion!! Overall, this experience was infuriating!!! This man is a menace to public relations and just cost you any repeat business from me and from anyone who I can influence in any way. Nit that this moronic individual would actually care. His co-worker was obviously embarrassed by him! If he is an employee, he should be fired, there would be no curing that kind of disregard for "women ". If he is a franchisor , he should loose his license, he is a disgrace!!!

Hello Madam/Sir, Very bad experience: First, I am charged extra, then, your call center talked to me rudely. I am charged 65 $(40+25) more than required on my credit card. I called U-Haul, but my concerns and issues were not heard; the manager did not let me speak. She hung up the phone on me. I felt very disrespectful and disappointed with U-Haul.
