Overcharged me by 3km but did not reply to my request for reimbursement, although I have photos to prove the #km. I returned the van with more gas than original but that was not credited to me. Van was not clean when I picked it up, and the front bumper was hanging off one side. I had a very uncomfortable feeling throughout this whole transaction.

Truck had no washer fluid, causing problems during the snowstorm on the way back. Moderate pain in the rump. Pickup/inspection/dropoff details weren't made clear but the truck was ready on time and was easy to drop off. Employees aren't wearing any Uhaul branding so it's unclear they're the right people to give the keys to.

The truck showed an engine light on and a low tire pressure message on the dashboard who was was felt...also, when going to get the truck I waited 20 minutes or more to just get the truck. They should add a message that you will wait up to 30 minutes for a truck. I was late for my move due to the wait..

My reservation was cancelled twice. Then when I called to inquire about it I was sent to a other location resulting in more UBER $$$, then came back to this location and finally got my rental on my own through the online check in. However still waiting for 2 x $50 cancellation fees to be refunded.

I reserved a 20' truck at 456 Parliament St on November 26. My reservation number is 20998775. I arrived at 9am and was told that my reservation was not in their system. They eventually brought up my reservation and it had a note on it that the day before I had been contacted by phone and told that my reservation was at another location. I checked my phone and my email and I was never notified of this nor did anyone call and speak with me. This location then sent me to 211 Gerard St where they said my reservation was changed to. I took an Uber to this location where the person working there informed me that they had no trucks and my reservation was actually changed to 87 Ethel street which was 45 minutes away by car. I called this location 5 times and no one answered. I did not trust traveling 45 minutes by Uber ($$) to the new location with a high potential that they had no truck for me either. I do not own a car and would never book nor agree to change my rental location to somewhere so far away given that I booked my truck a block away from where I was moving to ensure an easy pick up and drop off. I don't understand how my reservation was moved without anyone notifying me, then claiming I was notified and ‘spoken to' in my reservation notes. This especially surprises me given that I booked the truck a month before I needed it and the ‘notice' I was given (it never actually happened) was claimed to have been given to me a day before my move. This caused huge stress during an already hectic situation and I can't emphasize how unprofessional the entire ordeal was. I will never recommend your company to any friends as I would fear they would have to go through what me and my girlfriend went through yesterday and I wouldn't wish that upon anyone. Sincerely, a very displeased customer.

Every time I use U-Haul there is a problem! This time I was charged twice for everything $103 instead of $51 for some unknown reason and the mattress cover that I ordered wasn't available at the store even though they said I could go pick it up. So much inconvenience for a company that's supposed to make your life easier.

The truck that I reserved was not available, despite reserving it. I didn't receive my truck until 3 0plus minutes after my arranged time, this caused me to not be able to return it before closing. This then led to me having to drive it home and park overnight and I was overcharged for miles that didn't need to be driven if I received my truck on time.

I ordered a 15 foot truck and they didn't have one available. They noted that they'd waive the dolly and gas but did not waive the dolly. They also charged me $15 in insurance that I didn't agree to pay.

The office was very disorganized. The system was down the day I picked up my rental so I had to write my driver's license number and credit card number on a piece of paper in order to complete the pick-up and be billed. The yard was too crammed for the number of vehicles on site which caused confusion and frustration for cars using the laneway. The man helping us was kind and accommodating, but the location overall could use a facelift to not feel as sketchy. Experience wasn't bad, because I've seen even sketchier UHaul locations, but compared to a previous experience I had had with a UHaul rental, this was sub-par.

The truck was duty and I have reserved 6 pads and 1 dolly, but they did not have any of the items. I showed my reservation to the staff, and the woman said that the email I got from U-Haul with the reservations is no important since she is not seeing it on her system. She was clearly lost, she didn't know how to use the system and she was rude to my friend when my friend asked if she could find at least a dolly. She said: we don't have and it is not my fault, if you want you can look around and search for it.

What a terrible experience with U-Haul. Changed my location/time/truck at the last minute. The moving furniture I picked (dolly and pads) ended up not being available. I do not recommend, spend a little more and go with a a better truck rental business.

My experience with U-Haul was a waking nightmare. Your failure to provide customer support after you failed to provide us with a truck is despicable. After a total of 8 hours on the phone Anthony from head office accused us of lying, while knowing full well U-Haul was in breach of contract by failing to meet their own terms. You will be hearing from us again on every possible social media outlet. Disgusting.

Although customer service was above average at this location it was marred by the lack of sufficient parking spaces for returning the vehicle. Additionally, the original reservations made for pick up at 60 Sonnet in Scarborough, had no vehicle available upon arrival and the attendant was incredibly useless, borderline rude and unhelpful in offering viable solutions to replace the reservation.

Our vehicle was not there for pick up when we arrived as the previous customers was really late. Carolyne Baptiste was amazing though. She made sure we were comfortable and she took really good care of us. You are lucky to have an employee like her! I will be back and recommend to all my friends!

Absolutely the worst service I have experienced,Uhaul changed my time and location, without notice. Experience at 211 Gerrade St E was so bad. Also, I was asked to call the contact center and 3 reps in the phone were not able to help me and kept transferring me to the general queue. I will not recommend based on service. My whole Saturday was messed up

At first my experience was pretty bad. When I finished registering and booking my Uhaul the website told me that I would receive a call the day before to confirm that everything was correct for me to get the truck, however I never received any calls. The next day I went to pick up the truck at the agreed time, but when I arrived at the place and at the agreed time I had to wait for at least 20 minutes until the Uhaul official informed me that my truck had been transferred to another location. So I asked him why they didn't call to inform me of anything? He said he was not to blame for anything and if I wanted to complain I should call the head office. After that I had to walk to the new location, which took me another 15 minutes and to get the truck, which took me another 20 to 30 minutes. In other words, I had a reservation to use the elevator in my building to make my move, I had to do everything running and still pay an extra to continue using the elevator. I returned the truck after using it in the same condition that I got it and with the gas tank full and a few hours in advance. In other words, I did exactly what I should have done, but you did not do your part. To sum up my experience was terrible and I do not intend to use your service again.

I don't want this to reflect on the owner at 456 Parliament, my issue was more with the disorganization that followed my initial booking just not happening. I found the terms of the rental agreement unclear as everything changed last minute due to the negligence of whoever is at 211 Gerard.

They did not have the truck I reserved, which was the 15' truck. Instead they gave me a 10' truck. This one, predictably, did not accommodate all the belongings from our apartment. We had to leave some behind. I will need to rent another truck next weekend. Not from U-Haul, of course. Oh, and I had reserved two dollies. They didn't have those, either. They very kindly gave me the hand cart from their shop to use. And they didn't charge me for the dollies, of course. Nice people at that Parliament Street location. Great people. Just casual. Or perhaps I need to learn that reserving doesn't really mean reserving? It's like airlines, where they overbook flights, speculating that someone will cancel. Then when nobody does, some customers get bumped. I was one of those today. Grrrrrrr. Not happy.

The office was not very clean as in tidy but they clearly had disinfected anything we would have to sit on or touch. The van needed a wash and had a broken mirror, dent in the bumper and no license plate which we didnt realise until we returned. I was pleased they had a van available immediately since we were in a last minute rush and they were relatively good with the customer service and getting us checked in and good to go. The uhaul down by Gerrard was horrendous so after that experience the parliment one was perfectly fine.
