We went to drop off our uhaul after hours and couldn't find a place to leave it (the lot was already overparked). We had to street park overnight and ended up getting ticketed. Not a great experience.Elspeth C.

You need to have realistic photos when approving pictures and disputing pictures. Also commenting on each photo with a list of words was a long process.... Especially standing in the pouring rain holding onto an umbrella and trying to type on your phone.... With the pressure of how long is this going to take as well as making arrangements to meet sometime at the other side and being late now. Plus other traffic in the back Lane needed me to move the vehicle before I was done... It was annoying. To say the least. I don't like that I had to upload my driver's license to your company...brenda F.
when i got the uhaul, it was lesser than 1/4. it was nearly empty. on my final bill, it said that i was already given the uhaul at 1/4. this is false. how can i get my refund????Yousif P.

Not an ideal place to rent from. When I arrived, I was told that "the system" was down and they needed to take a picture of my credit card (on someone's personal phone - which seemed extremely shady) OR to put in a cash deposit of $200 from my debit card. There were no other UHAUL locations or rental alternatives available at the last minute, and I had booked elevators at 2 seperate condos so I had no other choice. I went with the $200 deposit and had a terrible feeling that I would never see that money again (spoiler: my gut feeling was right). We ended up getting the van and it was in terrible condition, and the tank was very close to empty. The employee told me to "just fill it up". Barely any inspection was completed by the employee. After returning the keys, I did not receive any direction or anything on my deposit except "you will get your deposit back in 8 days by e-transfer". Fast forward more than 8 days later and I have NOT received my deposit back. If you try to call the location, they never answer the phones. Now I'm having to work through UHAUL corporate to try to get my deposit back. This place is a joke, save yourself from the headache of renting from here. Moving is already a difficult process, and this made it even worse.Eddy S.
The van was not clean at all, but this is not the main problem. They scammed me! I had total ride distance of 8.5km, but when I checked my invoice that I got later, I saw that I was charged for 40km! This is disgusting! I want this to be investigated, as well as getting the bill recount and money refundVasily Z.
There are pluses and minuses of this location. It is well placed and they generally have equipment and the managers are reasonable. But, they do not open on time (always late), they have line ups, the check outs are painfully slow, the computers are slow, the lot attendant is surly, the lot is really tight for space and it generally feels chaotic. Friendly management, but you will end up waiting and you will not know how long something might take.SIMON L.

Reservation notification stated cost of $39.90 +$0.79 mile )or $0.20k). 156 km = $31.20 +39.90 = $71.10. +$1 Environment fee +HST= $81.473 CHARGE WAS $119.78 Contract sent to confirm reservation deviously changed pricing without advice of difference to STATED amount on reservation. ONE HOUR WAIT ON SIDEWALK BEYOND RESERVATION TIME AT LOCATION. No answer to phone calls - and 800-270-2794 WAS 48 MINUTES ON HOLD. RECOMMENDATION? GO FIGUREDavid A.

In the past, trucks were dirty and smelly and the service was exceedingly slow. This time, the truck was ready for me and clean. Handover was quick but employee did not want to check for damage. Very heavy cologne smell in the cab.Tamara A.
First of all the place is a disgusting dump with way too many people crammed into a filthy garage. I booked a 9' van for pickup at 11 am. It took 1 hr and 45 minutes to get the van as no one seemed to know what was going on. When I finally got the van it was below empty. I asked the man how I should bring it back and he said, â€œon empty of courseâ€ I was going 100 Kms to move a couch. I put 50.00 of gas in the van and it registered under a quarter tank. Got to my destination and on empty again. Put another 50.00 of gas in and the dial went to full. Returned home with gas tank now reading just over half a tank. Obviously broken. When I returned the van a guy opened the door, I told him the gauge was broken and there would be extra gas. He then said thanks, snatched the keys and locked the door. At no point was I ever given or sent an invoice. There are 2 charges on my Amex for 125.00 and one for 42.00. No idea why I rented a van ( with a $19.95 a day, in huge letters on the side) for 8 hours with a dolly and 6 blankets and insurance could cost that much. Plus a gas credit would be nice. Most importantly this place is a disgusting covid mess and I cannot figure out why Uhaul would associate with them. Scott WaringFrederick W.
