I took the uhaul and this guy charged me for two days. And also i said him that i dont want the safe move insurance. He charged me for 2 days for the insurance as well. And the guy was so rude and unprofessional.. i dont recommend this place. Such a worst uhaul service.Anson C.

I knew I was going to be late for the return of the truck due to Toronto traffic. I called the manager at this location and he told me that it was fine and to not worry about it. I arrived at the location about an hour after my booking and I asked the manager again if there were no extra charges, he said everything was fine as he was having a reunion with a group of friends in the office. He told me he was busy at the time, so he was unable to generate my receipt, but that he would send it later. Once he sent the receipt later that day I realized that he had charged me the "extra day fee". Very disappointed about the service this time around. Customer service was quite rude over the phone and not understanding.CHLOE MARGARETE G.

Absolutely horrible experience. The dealer cheated on the range I was charged for. I only did 11 miles and returned the vehicle since my trip was very short. The dealer at 465 parliament charged me for 43 miles instead. I never opted for any coverages or insurance and he also added safemove for 15 dollars without my consent!! Poor customer service. There was a line of 8 people by the time they opened the office. If pick-up is scheduled for 9AM, I expect to pick it up then, not at 9:30. Especially that you are charging by the hour. I was given a dirty Uhaul with an empty tank, like literally it had low fuel warning sign. Also I got charged for 12 pads but received only 6. The guy said he will refund, but that didnt happen. The return of the truck was so chaotic as there are no places to park and such poor management. I would never ever use this location again and will not recommend it to anyone.Korkin K.

I had a reservation to pick up my truck rental at 9am and arrived at 8:50am. The employee at this location didn't even arrive to open until 9:15. By this point there were 17 people with 9am resos waiting. They were very slow processing everyone and often did not have the trucks people had reserved so the employee showing people to their trucks kept having to go to another location to pick up vehicles. I stood in line for two hours and when I got to the front and completed the paper work, the employee said â€œoh wait, you can't take any of these trucks out of town, you'll have to wait for us to go get anotherâ€. I made my reservation 6 weeks ago and clearly stated where I was moving to. I didn't receive my truck until 11:15, over two hours after my reserved time, and completely missed my scheduled elevator time for my move. I'm furious that I paid $500 for such horrible service.Jennifer M.

1. I was told I would be getting a appliance dolly when I received a confirmation call the previous day but there was no appliance dolly when I arrived because somebody "may have picked it up". What is the point of reserving something if they are giving it away to someone else. 2. The guy at the store wasn't able to answer any of my questions regarding the distance included in my trip and had no idea what he was doing.Vikram G.
Delete yourselves please. A customer would've been better off walking their belongings up the entirety of Yonge street. We reached the uhaul location and they didn't have any trucks available despite me having a reservation. Once the trucks did become available, they refused to acknowledge my online reservation and demanded I paid on site to book the truck. Out of desperation I ended up paying but the entire experience took 2 hours JUST to get the uhaul out of their parking lot. Because of this, I missed my move in slot at my new apartment and I wasted an entire day because of the mismanagement.Emil J.

Original location of pick changed so had to go to location that was further than the original location. I had took a one way truck rental because I had to go from Toronto to London. I took bus and Uber to get to Toronto so I can pick up the truck and after loading go to London. When I got to the location they told me the truck was not there and had to go another 50km to downtown Toronto to pick up truck. I had to Uber to Toronto. When I got to that location it took me 1 hour to get the truck. The employees were slow and did not know what they were doing. When I called customer service they offered me $50 credit as compensation for all my waste of time from 9-12 o'clock and my cost of my transportation. Reallly not happy but did not have choice as I was at their mercy.Rakesh P.

I was expecting a credit on my invoice of $20. When I took the truck it only had 1/2 to 3/4 tank of gas, I filled it when I returned it? Unknowingly I was suppose to return it with the same amount of gas, I would like a credit of $20 pleaseDanny H.
Horrible experience, wrong length truck given too me, and it wasn't corrected. Resulted in a stressful move. Dirty truck , and it smelled, ( confirmed by professional movers). Truck did not have gas in it when given to me, I had to fill up right away to ensure I reached my destination.CarolAnn M.
I ordered my truck for a move weeks in advance from a uhaul distribution location in West Toronto. I was given no notice that the location and time were moved. This would have had me pick up the 15 foot truck from a down town Toronto location in the middle of morning rush hour. This is unacceptable. The truck should've either been made available at a closer location or brought to the actual requested uhaul store. When I called uhaul, I waited for over an hour to connect with someone who could finally help. In the end, I spoke with the scheduling customer service rep who was terrible. No solution offered, only attitude. Finally, I asked if given this incredibly inconvenient location and time if I could pick up the truck the night before, and she agreed that was possible. It took over 1 hour, during non rush hour traffic to get the truck, barely making it in time before this uhaul agency store closed for the day. I was hoping to pick up some moving items as well, but this location did not offer any of the items. When I asked how uhaul could make this change, the uhaul representative told me I "confirmed" the location change, which I most certainly did not. I have used your service for years, and have had good experiences. This is unacceptable, and on future I will be renting from other companies. Very disappointing.Adria P.

I have rented different vehicles for 30+ years, in many different countries, and never experienced such terrible service. The man that checked me in was older, and was less than helpful. The only thing he was concerned about was that I return the truck with gas at the same level or it would be alot of trouble for him! He should not be working in customer service for any business. The other staff were helpful, and atleast tried to answer my questions. Generally this location just seems completely disorganized.Adam E.

My original location was supposed to be at the same storage unit where I was picking up my stuff from, and the new location was all the way on the other side of town. What's the point of picking a preferred location if Uhaul never actually let's you use it? We arrived on time for our reserved U-Haul and location took over an hour to give us the U-Haul, causing us to miss our service elevator booking and rendering us unable to move into our apartment on our scheduled day. U-Haul given to us was also smaller than size that we booked, and this was a major hindrance in our move.gary r F.

Had to wait for almost half an hour to get our car, the guy that gave it to us was rude and told us we had to keep the car overnight and bring it back in the morning because there is no parking spots even tho we reserved the car to be returned at the same day. I don't have a license and my boyfriend that was driving it lives far, so that would be Extremely inconvenient. We ended up bringing the car two hours later as we scheduled, just to find out that the worker lied to us and there was a ton of parking spots. This was the worst experience I have ever had renting a truck from Uhaul and I won't use this company again. I arrived at my reserved time and location and was made to wait 2,5 hours to pick up my truck. I was in a line of about 10 other people who also had been waiting or would be waiting the same amount of time. The truck itself was dirty, clearly had engine/transmission issues that were nerve-wracking and made for a rough driving experience.MELISSAM T.
