Some maintenance to be checked The check engine light was on.
STEVE TWe dropped the truck off after hours, and the key drop box was inside the gas station, all the way at the back of the store. The gentleman running the gas station was very welcoming, but it would have been helpful to have some signs directing us to the key drop box.
CHLOE HThe operational hours for the drop-off location are 10 AM to 4 PM. I arrived too early have U-Haul representatives inspect the vehicle at my drop off location. Once the vehicle was checked in, i was immediately informed and alerted with a turn-in receipt via email. FYI: I downloaded the U-Haul app on my phone which turned out to be worthless. All transactions were better accomplished via email links to invoices and receipts. I was never able to see my reservation on the app at any time.

RICK DThe check-in process was very long and that should've been mentioned. It took over 20 minutes for us to get into the vehicle. Then, the pictures that were required at the end should've come before the step when asking about the odometer. We locked everything up and couldn't get all of the pictures because the order of things we needed to do to return the vehicle seemed backwards. Then, I went to take a picture, the app quit and then I didn't have any ability to formally complete the process. Hoping that it was actually wrapped up and accpeted.

CHARLES SIf desk person isn't going to be at the desk a bell or a phone number to call would be helpful. I waited 5 minutes before I began looking around the location only to find the representative chatting with the gas station employee who was stocking shelves.

Mike KThere was some minor damage/scrapes on the truck I observed when I picked it up. The U-Haul app was awful. Considering everything on the website says to use the app, it was frustrating when the app didn't work. Shut down on me when I was returning the truck. Luckily the helpful person, TJ, I spoke with on the 1-800 number helped me out.
Mark PI was handed keys and a copy of the contract but not even directed where the truck was parked. I only saw the two out front and had no idea that there were more behind a building. A man working on a roof next door helped me

Cynthia HWhen I tried to return the truck, I took the cab picture, and then the driver side equipment picture, and the app closed, and wouldn't let me complete the return process, was very difficult. Had to go inside and drop keys in key box with no instructions.
Ian CVehicle had a gap between the window and door, making it extremely loud while traveling on the interstate. When I called UHaul to see about finding a solution they did not offer any help.

Stephen AReservation pickup time was before rental desk was open. I don't have an UHaul account, so rental process was cumbersome. I also didn't receive a rental contract, though I was familiarized with the rental rate firing online check-in. Drop-off was easy.

James PThe rental process went smoothly, but there should be some way of notifying the guy that handles the rentals so customers don't stand at an empty counter waiting 15 or more minutes for him to appear, this has happened to me 3 times now. My truck had a couple of small but to me important safety issues - you had to slam to driver's door really hard to get the warning message & annoying chime to turn off and the wipers were terrible, they leave streaks across the windshield that make it very difficult to see the road and it's a good thing it didn't rain much when I had it because that could've been a big issue. They need new wiper refills to correct this
GARY AThe location is convenient for me, but the assistance was non-existent. We were told when arriving for our prearranged rental that the Uhaul section was closed (it was a Sunday). We of course panicked; then we found out that we could access the keys through a locker (which wasn't there) so I literally snagged the keys off the wall. Would have appreciated the heads up that we'd have to handle the pickup ourselves. Glad we didn't have a trailer to hook up this time as we usually do.

ayshia qWent to pick up after hours and the wrong key was in the box and the 1800 number was unmanned. Drove 10 miles and must have not put in enough gas. Was charged for 8 gal of gas plus a $30 fee, very excessive! Will use another company next year!

JOHN MApp to return uhaul was not working properly, no staff for uhaul to assist--was charged unexpected fees that were not explained. Should have been contacted regarding extra fees. Would not recommend use to a friend.
