Jeffrey WoodDrop off was easy but not sure who was at fault but 3 weeks after drop off my wife received a charge for almost $2000 saying we just dropped it off somewhere in by Chicago. For a company that has been around for this long it's very difficult for me to understand how. Uhaul needs to make sure these locations are stocked with what they need for customers to order online. The Chicago location that charged us the $2000 was not even where we got the uhaul from so I don't know how they even charged us. Not to mention when I called was very rude and basically called me a liar and then hung up on me. In the end we did get our money back and said employee called and apologized. Zero stars, fix your business
Abeer AbdelaalWe rented a 6'x12' trailer. It was ready when I arrived. They assisted me with hookup and I was able to drop it off that evening with no problem. I really appreciate it and will rent from them again.

Laura GriffinI have used Uhaul at lease 5 times over the last 6 years. Most of the time it was a hassle free seamless experience. Not this time, due to way you have changed your business model. Why is it booking online "due to availlability" not having the location availablity change the day of pickup? Also, a phone confirmation of a appliance dolly . Not available when picked up. This was a game changer, but I was stuck . At $20 rental have some spares avaiilble at your locations! It is all about the service and availability, not necessarily the price.

Jeff HanigThe car port trailer I rented had an unusable broken tire net strap on the front. A previous renter broke it of about a foot short and didn't tell management about it. Hard to tell u til I actually went to tie it down. I had to load my antique truck and head about 5 miles to the Elizabeth location where they added an extra come along to get me through. I had no issues for my 150 ride after that. Better over all inspection of these trailers may want to be done on every trailer that is dropped off to avoid issues. It was a Saturday so I was lucky they were able to help.
Pat HartenausThe straps for tying down the tires 1 was broke & wouldn't reach the ratchet to secure the tire. The other 1 looked worn & damaged. I had to rig up the 1 to safely secure the vehicle for the ride. I can't believe that they would let the trailer go out in that shape, especially when they have another one there that's in better shape.
ROBERT COOKThe truck had bald tires and was filthy. The location was ok except for the fact it was 3 hours out of the way. I'm more upset with the tone of the person who called to let me know where and when I could pick up the truck. The customer service was the worst I have ever experienced. I would rather call and speak to customer service at Comcast than your customer service! I will absolutely NOT recommend your company to anyone.

Cost me 4 hours of my day plus mileage to rum from Maquoketa to Davenport to Elizabeth to Maquoketa. Unacceptable...

Michael HayseI had ordered a 15 ft truck and they gave me a 10ft truck, the nice thing was that after 2 calls 2 hrs of waiting on hold I was able to get the miles extended. But overall if they didn't have my truck I would've liked a call telling me I was unable to have the equipment I requested.

Vincent Earth Moving is the ONLY U-Haul dealer I will ever rent from!!!! Thank you Vincent Earth Moving for making this truck rental so pleasurable and being so AWESOME!!!!!!!

I had to get a new location because the guy in Savanna Illinois could not be reached to fulfill my rental. uhaul customer service was awesome and got me hooked up with Vincent Earthmoving, and the guys there even helped me hook up to my truck. I recommend the pick up here in Elizabeth at Vincent Earthmoving, and I do not recommend going to the bodyshop place in Savanna, Illinois.

James HolakovskyI had to drive to over 1 hour to pick up from this location, once arrived had to await 2hrs because of the reservations complications before i could leave with a tralier.
MICHAEL RICHARDSONI have no problems with this location. The overall experience renting a uhaul was horrible. I had RESERVED a 26' uhaul at Chicago street in Geneseo, IL for Thursday the 24th. I got a call the morning of the 23rd saying that the closest location was in Mt Carrol IL (over 1 hour away). The lady told me that I would have to pay for the gas, even though I was having to drive the extra distance bc they didn't have one near me. She told me that she would look into it and call me back. She called me back that afternoon and told me that there was nothing she could do. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she put one on the phone. The supervisor said that she would take $30 off for the added gas expense and that she would call and make sure I could pick up the truck that night after hours from the Mt carrol location. When I noticed that evening that it didn't say I was picking up in Mt Carroll, I called back. They said that something was wrong in the reservation and they put me on hold while they called the location. She then told me that they weren't picking up and that there was nothing they could do. I just needed to go to my Carroll between 12 pm and 3 pm on Thursday. I showed up at Mt Carrol at 12:20 pm on Thursday and the door was locked and no one would answer the door. I called uhaul again and they said they were over Iowa but would try. He gave me the local regional reps number. I called him and left a message. As we were waiting, I called uhaul again and he said that the closest location with a 26' uhaul was Elizabethtown. We explained that this was 7 hours away and asked if he meant Elizabeth. He said no. He then said that there was a 20' in Savanna that we could pick up and he would give us $50 off and throw in a 6' trailer. We got to Savanna and the gentleman there called around and found us a 26' at Elizabeth. I'm not happy with this experience and want everyone to know about it. I don't understand why you make a reservation if they aren't going to have one available for you.
Shawn RussellI incorrectly assumed the trailer I rented would be clean. To my surprise when I unloaded the bed mattresses, they were stained from filth on th floor of the trailer.
