This location is difficult to navigate AND rather than having the keys locked up they were zip tied into their boxes. When I called to ask about how to access the keys I was told I needed to try and cut the boxes open. I did not have a knife on me because why would I. So I had to use nearby garbage (a rusted out aluminum can) to slowly saw away at the zip tie until I could finally access the key. I was extremely disappointed.Daniel C.
Besides the truck is totally dirty everywhere, including rocks in the bucket, the place is difficult to access, I lost a lot of time to find the entrance door of the store. When I returned the truck, I had a terrible surprise, when I saw on the receipt that this terrible store charged me another 24 dollars for gasoline! This made me very nervous because before delivering the truck I completed the gadolina exactly when I got it. I'm feeling hurt by this. would get my money back. I just walked 19 miles. And I fueled. pay attention to this store!Marcelo L.

The keys were not available for me to pick the truck up without interacting with someone, which is what I thought the point of truck share was. I called the business location and I was told no one was working for uhaul that day, except they had the keys and i had a reservation. I spent 20 minutes on hold for uhaul and worked with a very nice tow driver who knew nothing about uhaul rental to get my truck. When the customer service finally set me up in the app to get my truck, the app was horrid. The person on the phone could give me no answers. My appliance dolly wasn't there and I was told I never reserved one. Then I was transferred and spent another 20 minutes on hold just trying to find a different location with a dolly. The only reason I rented was to move a fridge. Over an hour on the phone just to get my equipment and truck. The whole experience was stressful and disorganized. I guess it's a good concept but execution was non existent and customer service was atrocious. Worst part is, the place I got the dolly from @ 700 International Speedway was open the whole time and I could have just gotten my truck and dolly from them with no hassle or nonsense. I wish the app had recommended an open business when I reserved the truck. Or if I had at least been offered a different option for pickup. I wasn't offered any other option except a bunch of people who just kept telling me they didn't know or they were closed. Not sure what the point of my reservation, truck share or the app was.Shanna M.

I filed a claim on the phone & haven't heard any response since I left FL. P/u was at an unsafe area, truck was dirty inside-seats & windows. Passenger seatbelt needed service which took a few hrs. Why haven't I heard anything, I drove with an unsafe seatbelt unaware of the issue till it locked & wouldn't unlock. I requested a financial refund without any response. Very disappointed. This location was in a bad area, the facility was dirty, some staff where rude, they didn't have all the equipment we had ordered, and considering we had paid and checked in in full onlineâ€¦it took us over 30 min to get the truck.JOSHUA S.
Location is not marked. Location across the street where the trucks are stored is not the actual UHaul address. The location is across the street with a sliding gate but has no address marking or Uhaul sign. Guy was friendly. Lady on the phone not so much. The truck was returned when I was picking up. Due to time I could not ask for it to be vacuumed but the previous customer had a dog. Cup holders were nasty and sticky. The passenger seat belt kept dinging though it was locked.JOSEPH W.
I was very satisfied with the trailer but where I picked it up was real weird , What a creepy place that was a towing company in not a very good part of town. U-HAUL could do better, The trailer worked fine.BRENT H.

We had to wait for someone to show up which was nice because we didn't know all we had to do was leave the truck there and put key in drop box. Personal was very friendly.JANICE H.
I called the 1800 number. I received an email that I got a uhaul, but I never did. The last time I used a uhaul was in June of this year. I left a voicemail and never got a call back. So someone got a uhaul under my name without my permission. My phone number is 352-238-0823. I want to know where this was done at and who did this.RONALD L.
When we went to rent a pick up truck we waited 45 minutes in a hot parking lot and car with a 5 month old child. They woman who we first called when we got there had an attitude. The pictures of the truck didn't show a cord hanging from the rear bumper. When I tried to update it the spindle kept getting stuck on updating and never actually updated the picture. I was unable to find the check your vehicle after 3x of trying to upload that picture. Once we finally got in the office things went a little smoother.kim W.

I had to go here due to the original location letting my reservation go to someone else ! Equipment had dirt and rocks in it from last renter , the manager was preoccupied and unpleasant, nobody around to assist when I returned it, location in a bad neighborhood, not a good experience, will not go there again !Vinnie O.

To tend to the customer in front of them. I waited for 10 mins while he spoke with a police officer he knew while standing out in the sun. I was on a tight time frame but wasted valuable time.Douglas A.
The facillity is a lock down tow truck business. The U-Haul vehicles are across the road AND there is no way to enter the enclosed yard to get to a person. A man who looked like he escaped from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies finally came out, took my son in to get the keys and it took another twenty minutes for my son to come out with the keys. I am NOT a timid person but I had begun to fear for my son's safety. I would NEVER recommend this location to anyone, even my worst enemy. Prior to this I have never had a bac experience with UHaul.Stephen K.

The truck was filthy inside and also smelled like smoke upon my picking it up. There was no rental office and an employee spoke to me through a locked gate and said he couldn't rent me the truck. He said I needed to speak with U-Haul to get a code from them for the lock box that had the keys in it for the truck. The whole process was a nightmare because I had to contact the original location that I had done the online rental reservation with in order for them to contact the corporate office for me in order to get the code. And the original location was the one that I had my original online reservation with that didn't have a truck ready for me and referred me to this other location and another city. There's more I can add but I'll keep it at that for this review.Donald F.
The workers were very rude when I came to pick up the van and it is located in a alley-like location where you could not see other UHauls, so I had no idea. The Uhaul place in the next block, Carter Uhaul had a big sign out front. I went there first. The man was a little nicer when I returned the van, but not much. He does everything on his cell. GLiz G.

Horrible experience. 8am reservation, I get there at 8:15 to hear about how stupid uhaul corporate is because they don't open until 9. So I sit and wait for the guy that just left in his tow truck to return because he's the ONLY one who can do it. 8:45 we get through that process, only to get outside, in some unweeded, rocky, concrete fill dirt lot when my trailer is in the very back. I ask the guy if it's even safe to back my truck up there. He struggles to get it on the hitch. When I return the trailer, no one is there to help me. I'm told to "just unhook it and leave it". Again, it's very hard to get off my truck since the trailers don't have any Jack's on them. Just a poorly run place!!!Heidi D.

Location was in a car towing yard. Because of this, the location was completely enclosed with 8 foot fence with barbed wired across the top. Could not find how to get in and all the windows had bars on them. After walking around saw a small sign on one windows for U-Haul and knocked on the window through the security bars. The window opened and the gentleman asked us to go to the gate and he would open it electronically. Upon entering the house, I realized it was the office for a towing company. All of the windows were dark with tinting and all the vertical blinds were pulled shut. I felt very uneasy. My wife opened one of the vertical blinds to get some light in the room. While we were being checked out, the gentleman took 6 calls for his towing company. It took us approximately 45 minutes to rent the truck. He also told me the truck we rented was from a "repo". Evidently someone had not paid and U-Haul had contracted with him to get the truck back. Overall I was very uncomfortable with the rental process from that location and if I weren't in a hurry I would have left and rented somewhere else. That being said, I don't think I could have left because the electronic gate was shut and my wife and I felt locked in...literally! I would not recommend this location to anyone. I could not imagine my wife or one of my girls renting from there for fear of their safety. Please call of you have any questions about this rental. We would be glad to discuss it with you.Greg S.

Had a GREAT Experience for my move! i highly recommend Volusia County Towing & Collision to anyone who needs a truck... they took care of all my needs and made sure i had everything i needed for my moveVOLUSIA T.
This Uhaul location was very hard to find, I drove around for 30 minutes looking for this place, & the only reason I was able to locate this place was a truck pulled out & I just happen to discover the sign, which was so small that other people would of had problems finding this place, after I found it, I looked across the Ally way & that's when I seen all the other U Hauls parked. They did not have a sign indicating that it was indeed a drop off location, very poor!!! there was no drop box to put the key in, so I called & was told to leave the Key under the Mat on the drivers side & the passenger side door unlocked, I was vary worried about doing this, cuz just anyone could of just walked up & just took it & I would of been paying for it.Tracy R.
I did not actually go to this location, my friend did. He and another guy said the location seemed sketchy and was not in a particularly good location. Best to go during the day if you plan to use this location. Just our humble opinion. No offense to the UHaul personnel...they were pleasant.Kathy H.
