JAMES HI tried to check out on mobile but it wasn't looking, but the man inside the VP Food Mart was very nice and got me taken care of right away.
Samantha BDo not use this location. They overcharged us missing/damage fees when no missing items or damage occurred. They overcharged us on our rental period, charging us for extra hours of rental use and late after hour fees even though the truck was returned before 6PM during opening hours and as the contract stated. Again we were charged late/missing items, extra rental hours, and after hour late fees and all were false charges and they have ignored all attempts to refund us.
Matt TIt was not the location that was the issue, it was scheduling the U-haul that was the issue. The website does not inform you that the location you pick will be changed multiple times and ultimately you don't have a choice. And I didn't get my money back from over refilling the gas- but I sure would have been charged if I had not put enough in.

Brett HOrdered a handtruck, which they did not have. Did not have anything but vehicles. Paid $.99/mile, but that did not include the gas (which no one mentioned). Drove the truck 6 miles & got charged for $9,5 for 2 gallons of gas. They were selling gas at that location for $3,15/gallon. Either the gas gauge was off, they like to rip people off or both.

Christopher VThe address for this location needs to be updated as it is incorrect. Additionally, the gas tank for the truck was not full, and we were instructed to fill the entire tank ourselves despite not using anywhere near that amount of gas.

TIMOTHY BThe truck that i initially reserved was not available upon pickup. This caused me to have to get a smaller truck, make multiple trips, and i ended up paying more than had anticipated. It was an inconvenience for me.
Amanda LThey failed to check my truck in. I returned it at 11pm. The truck was filthy and I was charged a $25 cleaning fee. I used the truck for 12 hours and was charged for 2 full days.
MARY CTruck was full of dried mud. Asked for broom clerk said no.,The clerk eventually gave me a broom. I had to sweep myself. The air blew hot air half of the time.
Tyler PI did self check in. This store is too busy to assist anyone at check in. It's been that way the last 2-3 times I've experienced this at this location. It's just very convenient to me as far a pick up and drop off. I explained that I was late but had called U-Haul and was given a few extra extended hours because of the situation that arose while moving. I did have the truck back as discussed and was still charged for the third day anyway. He barely spoke English and was not interested in helping me. Probably the worst experience I've had with U-Haul and I've used this company multiple times over the last, especially 5 years.

Reserved a 15 foot truck, when I got there to pick up what I had reserved, I was told only truck available was the 20 foot truck and I was charged the additional price for the 20 foot truck even though I clearly reserved the 15 foot truck! Maria JWhen I went to drop off the equipment the location did not have anywhere to park the vehicle. I walked inside and spoke with a gentleman who stated he would have to call someone to return it in the system because he could not leave the store and take pictures. Then after I left I received a call from the gentleman saying he could not return the vehicle because of where I parked it and I needed to come back there and move it. I felt this was very inconveniencing since I had already drive eight minutes up the road and had to turn around and go back.

Donald TU HAUL main office told me I owed about $43 dollars but there were going to be other charges ; right before giving me the key I was told I owed them $70 plus I ended up driving it just 7 miles .
Dalio AThis truck needs to go to the truck graveyard. The sound and drives like it's in its last leg and leaks inside the box getting all of my belongings soaked and floods inside the cab of the truck.

Stacie CWhen I arrived the gentleman behind the counter told me he wants to go smoke a cigarette and I can wait since I was a few minutes early. I looked at him and said really? I mean if that is what you want to do. Then when he decided to go ahead and get me processed in for my pick up he tried to slide the insurance in on me when I clearly stated in my original reservation, I am not interested in additional insurance. He went as far as to tell me it was already added so too late. I refused and would not budge then he removed it. This tells me they are trying to steal from unsuspecting clients. I was very off put buy this experience and really kind of untrusting of the uhaul brand a bit. This same location in the past added $50 for not putting gas back into the truck, which I did and proved it, but was still charged for it. This is very shady business dealings at this location.
Chad LI ordered and needed an appliance hand truck. When I got to the store I was told that they didn't have it. This but strain on my move because I had a washer and dryer to move.

I didn't know there was a lock box outside store to return key and I gave him the key and he didn't tell me about the box and key was just put on counter. I realized when I left I had to check out online and that told me where to put key. Walked back in and asked for key and he just handed it to me still distracted and didn't say anything. Not very friendly

Raymond MBeing able to move after work was great, however, not being able to see in the back cabin was an inconvenience. Having some light would be great. This evening was sprinkling, the steps could be a bit more aggressive on grip. Upgrade to LED head lamps, brighter & less likely to burn out. It was hard to see in dim lit areas. Overall I appreciate the business

Linda R1. The utility dolly I PAID for was not available. 2. There wasn’t a loading ramp on the truck. 3. One of the headlights was out.
Leah HThe person at the location was not interested in U Haul customer service. He just wanted to give truck key and be done. I had to ask for the furniture pads. He handed me one sealed pack of pads. I did not realize there was only 6 to a pack and should have received two packs until I returned the truck to different location and was charged for missing equipment.
Constance HGet a direct line and whoever answers the phone needs to explain who they are. I wanted to rent the truck and made a tentative reservation, which was useless without confirmation. This is not a way to handle business.
SUMMER JNowhere on any paperwork is there anything about how much is charged for mileage! Ye sit does say the price for miles allowed. However, there is nothing stating how much is charged per mile after the miles are used!!!! I am extremely upset and NEVER use U Haul again!!!!

William BNice scam! The truck had less than a quarter tank of gas. I went about a hundred miles an added 8 gallons during my trip and returned it with an eighth of a tank. They said I started with three quarters. Check the mileage. You got me pretty good. Clever scam!
