Online I had paid for and reserved a furniture dolly, but upon arriving, I was informed that there was no furniture dolly at that location. This complicated my move, as I had bulky furniture items that would have been easier to transport with the dolly. It would have been appreciated if I had received a notification or email during my reservation or prior letting me know that a furniture dolly was not available at this location.Joanne W.

The staff did not have my RSVP in his system upon arrival to drop off the vehicle. I had to show him the contract that was printed from the pick-up store for him to take the truck. After leaving, I see under my account when trying to print the final receipt that my drop-off location was changed without my approval. This should not happen without verbal or written confirmation from the customer on this change. This adds miles to the vehicle if this information is not available prior to the dropoff of the truck.Quinton S.

Was not notified until pickup that requested equipment (dolleys) were not available, which made moving couches/boxes/etc much more difficult. If given proper notice, we would have booked with a different location to ensure we had that equipment.John B.

This was truly one of the most frustrating situations I have had to deal with as a customer. My card was continuously declined because the incompetent front desk employee repeatedly entered in the incorrect zip code for my billing address. She did it some many times that my card was blocked for fraud with Chase and I had to call and wait on hold for 20 minutes to allow the transaction to process. It took an hour and a half to complete my order, which was completed online the night before. This was such a horrendous experience that I no longer want to conduct business with Uhaul.JENNIFER U.

The employee that works there will racially discriminating against people of color. I couldn't believe he keep me standing there for so long with other customers waiting, while he looked for any reason he could to deny renting to me. He even tried to misplace my credit card. Pretending he didn't see it. Do not use the drop box because they will use that as a reason to charge gas fees. They you have to spend your time fighting. Good luckSonoma Z.

Scott @ West 18th storage is the best in town. He cares about the facility as do his staff-the facility is clean and safe. The staff are fantastic about anticipating the customers needs. Every detail is transparent and organized. I can't say enough how much the attention to detail Scott and his staff uphold that makes moving an absolute breeze.Katherine T.

I returned the uhaul after hours on the same day (Sat.) location was closed Sunday. When the staff (not the normal gentleman) checked it back in they charged me for two days. When I called, she said they were closed and she didn't know when I returned it. I asked her why she didn't call and ask or check the cameras? The money was refunded but she told me next time I hold return it mobile and it would be easier for all. All was great except the return experience.Alison M.

The truck was okay. It worked properly, but the app is ridiculously bad. There is no user experience on that thing and it directs you to the webpage which makes the app useless. Also costumer service was dumb as a door. Improve your costumer service and your app as soon as possible.Igor V.

The mobile pickup process was ridiculous. You need to make it apparent to customers that they will need a reference/lease/etc. ahead of time. I went to pick up the truck by myself and had a hard time getting anyone to answer the random calls you all were making to verify. It was extremely frustrating and your support team was less than helpful. All in all it was a horrible experience. I will absolutely never be using this again.Penelope N.

I chose the mobile check in but had to go Inside because the employee had the keys in her pocket. She was rude and stated she had all the keys because she figured â€œpeople will come inside since she's thereâ€. Defeating the entire purpose of mobile check in. There was also a mix up In which truck we were taking and she would not listen to the information I had. She also yelled at me to back away from the counter yet she kept pulling her mask down.Taylor A.
The lady I returned the van to was not very nice. She was argumentative from the beginning and exuded a negative energy. She asked me to step back from the counter as soon as I got there but wore her mask with her nose fully exposed and not covered (mine was on at all times properly). She was not easy to talk to and did not explain what the breakdown in my bill was until I told her to please speak to me in a regular conversational voice as I was not there to fight w her but rather just talk like normal adults. This is 100 % the opposite of the encounter I had with the man who rented me the uhaul the night before who was very friendly and patient. The second problem I have with uhaul is all the hidden charges. I had the vehicle from 4:45pm to 12:00pm the next day (total of 15 hours). But I was charged for 2 days and 2 times the insurance fee. This is a scam and was not clear from the contract. So I will not be doing my moving business w uhaul again for this reason.KARINA C.
