The truck was okay. It worked properly, but the app is ridiculously bad. There is no user experience on that thing and it directs you to the webpage which makes the app useless. Also costumer service was dumb as a door. Improve your costumer service and your app as soon as possible.Igor V.

The mobile pickup process was ridiculous. You need to make it apparent to customers that they will need a reference/lease/etc. ahead of time. I went to pick up the truck by myself and had a hard time getting anyone to answer the random calls you all were making to verify. It was extremely frustrating and your support team was less than helpful. All in all it was a horrible experience. I will absolutely never be using this again.Penelope N.

I chose the mobile check in but had to go Inside because the employee had the keys in her pocket. She was rude and stated she had all the keys because she figured â€œpeople will come inside since she's thereâ€. Defeating the entire purpose of mobile check in. There was also a mix up In which truck we were taking and she would not listen to the information I had. She also yelled at me to back away from the counter yet she kept pulling her mask down.Taylor A.
The lady I returned the van to was not very nice. She was argumentative from the beginning and exuded a negative energy. She asked me to step back from the counter as soon as I got there but wore her mask with her nose fully exposed and not covered (mine was on at all times properly). She was not easy to talk to and did not explain what the breakdown in my bill was until I told her to please speak to me in a regular conversational voice as I was not there to fight w her but rather just talk like normal adults. This is 100 % the opposite of the encounter I had with the man who rented me the uhaul the night before who was very friendly and patient. The second problem I have with uhaul is all the hidden charges. I had the vehicle from 4:45pm to 12:00pm the next day (total of 15 hours). But I was charged for 2 days and 2 times the insurance fee. This is a scam and was not clear from the contract. So I will not be doing my moving business w uhaul again for this reason.KARINA C.

Not a single person there to assist me. Full of trucks, was quite dangerous to try and park my Uhaul there, especially without any staff. When I attempted to call their number there was no answer as well. Very dissatisfied.Dylan C.

The check in process was horrendous since the store was not open. The person who called me the night before to confirm my location gave me no instructions on how to get my uhaul through the online check in procedure so once we realized the store was not open and we could not get in the gates we called the HQ number and were given instructions. I then had to create an account and enter the DL#s, etc of all drivers which I had previously done when reserving the uhaul and then I was able to get my keys. If I had been instructed of this process before hand I would have saved 30 minutes and a lot of frustration.Torri R.

We rented a 15 ft truck from the UHaul location at 2100 w 18th street. Everything was handled professionally and efficiently. Truck was clean and drove well. Check in and check out was a breeze. Final bill matched estimated bill. Manager and staff were very friendly, and their customer service skills were excellentâ€"two thing last very hard to find these days. It is a small business place, that looks clean and well organized. I had a problem free experience and I got help with instructions and else, to get all running smoothly. He makes very clear that place is a dealership and uhaul would be the one, responsible if anything goes wrong, not them. I put some gas before retuning the truck.Mireya Elisa A.

I've had 2 experiences in the last year where the equipment I reserved was not available. And I didn't find out until I asked for an update. That's not a reservation. That's a complaint about the reservation process with uhaul, and not directed at the 2 locations where I had this problem.Paul R.

This has nothing to do with the locations but more with uhaul in general. We rent a uhaul 2x a year and are absolutely fed up with the consistant switching around of our rental location and drop off location. Your systems are NEVER up to date so we usually get a call at the last second telling us we need to pick up somewhere else. Then, the drop off location also has to be somewhere else other than where we picked up from. We apparently select one of the options and are supposed to remember the address by heart because we didn't receive an email telling us the address of the drop off. So we go to drop it off where we picked it up like a normal person would do, only to find out we need to drive back across town to where we just were in order to drop it off and a different location. I didn't realize we had to do leg work for you to assist you with your future rentals. At 8pm at night after a long weekend of moving, I really didn't appreciate the switch-a-roo without any email or update letting us know the new address. This is enough to make us not want to rent a uhaul ever again. Get your systems up to date and don't make people drop off at a different location. Especially let them know of the new locations via email before they have to find out the hard way.Andrew D.
