Only problem was with getting the trailer off my vehicle. Needed a trailer jack or stand to make it easier.

1. There is no signage indicating where equipment should be returned 2. I called to discuss the "after hours" drop off charge and the individual on the phone very quickly became confrontational and asked "why would you park the trailer in the car lot, who does that?" and implied that that was another reason that I was charged extra on the return. However, see point 1 regarding signage that does not indicate where the drop off location is located. Note: There was a UHaul Truck parked in the street which I could have interpreted that drop off in the street could have even been acceptable. 3. The individual at the site on the phone quickly told me to call the UHaul general support line to dispute my concern and the individual on the UHaul general support line was very accommodating and great to continue the discussion around my concerns 4. The UHaul website information for this location indicates it is a 24/7 return location and does not in the same place indicate that after hour return charges apply which was not clearly noted on the store front either.
ANDREW COnly suggestion would be to lubricate the ratchet tie down mechanisms on the car dolly regularly. They were in need of lubrication and difficult to use.

Siesse JMe and the wife had dropped the trailer off at 1130 A M on the 10/29/24 .went in to the office told the man i parted it between the two truck in the back .And did i have anything to sign/ the side on you are good to go..Two weeks later i get a call from a different U-Haul asking me where the trailer was ..I told them we dropped it off at WERNET ENTERPRISES in inver grove heights.the man at the other U-HAUL said it wasn,t marked that received it I HAD CALL WERNET DID NOT HEAR BACK. Went to the office , He did get my Message and side we took care of it ,Today is the 11/24/24 , Looking at my bank account he had charge me $410,88 .So some one owes me that money back,,

Dawn FDoesn't explain anything, Nothing given or said to me about checking the trailer for damage or given anything to mark where the damage was. In my past rentals, trailers and trucks I have always had a sheet to mark where damage is.Very Very hard to close the latch, rusted. Doesn't check to make sure lights work... Which on my trailer I found out that it had no right blinker. Still not sure if the brakes lights work. At drop off he backed the trailer up, unhooked the trailer and told me I was good to go. All in all I don't think he said more than 30 words in the 2 visits. I had to ask if I would only be charged for 1 day since I got it back in 24 hours. And that was done as he was walking back into the building.

Thomas KThe owner was rude and treated us like we were trash for renting a moving trailer. They took the trailer jack so we had to either go buy one or keep the trailer attached to our truck for the full five days we needed the trailer. No prior notice they would do that and no options for rental either. The trailer was parked so it was extremely difficult to get out and avoid hitting other trucks and trailers. Same with parking upon return. They relied on the app to do everything and didn't provide any guidance for checking out the trailer, or checking in when returned.

THOMAS PI didn't like that my pickup was changed and I needed to drive out of my way in rush hour to the new loc. Customer service tried to change my drop off and was overly rude when I explained I had a location arranged. Need to review that call if it was recorded.
David RAgain customer service could have been better. Found it frustrating that i received message from Uhaul via text, email and app. No one ever called me to confirm as a text said. You make it hard for the customer to know what to do when you communicate expectations over several media choices.

It really felt like he didn't want me there. Maybe just a different type of personality than me which is fine but no, I wouldn't go here again. Other u haul locations, yes, but not this one.

GERALD BQuick, no nonsense customer service. In the 10 minutes it took to do the "paperwork", they had the trail hooked up and ready to go (after we did a light check). Always my first choice when I require a U-haul.
SCOTT GNo one was at the location that deals with uhaul instead I met a very crabby man who kept saying " this isn't my job this isn't why I'm here"

Paul NThe return location was ready to find, yes, however when I went to drop the truck off I want greeted, I explained the purpose for my time in the office and was told to put the keys on the table and it would be taken care of, and then dismissed. The office space where I returned the truck to is cluttered and I wasn't sure they would actually find the keys that I had put on the table. Overall, my uhaul truck renting experience was not at all what I had expected. Not happy and will not be using uhaul for any future moving needs of its up to my discretion.

Kelsey TWhen I got to the office, the open sign was turned on but there wasn't anybody there and the door was locked. I had called earlier in the day and told him I would be coming. So I hooked up the trailer myself and waited until they came back. When he got back he processed the paperwork and didn't give me any direction on the use of the car hauler. I was not impressed with their customer service or their briefing on using the equipment.

Erik ZBe greeted kindly. It was a bit transactional. There was three (unnecessary) amount of dolly's in our truck. The check engine light came on after 6 miles of driving the truck.
Madeliene HThe person who owns this U-haul will add extra charges for no reason. He tried to charge me extra for a U-haul that I return an hour early with less mileage used than estimated. Also I chose not to add insurance (because I'm a safe driver) and he added it anyway without my knowledge or permission. Do not recommend. Also you can't drop off your truck anywhere else so they don't abide by U-Haul rules.
Joy MScheduled a pick-up on Sunday and understood we would have to use mobile pick-up as the location was closed. When scheduling, uhaul stated that someone would call us to confirm details and discuss pickup; we never received a phone call. Late the night before pickup, we received an email saying they changed the pickup location and no longer would be providing the two furniture dollies we requested. Due to the timing of this late notice, there wasn't much we could do. On pickup day, we assumed mobile pickup would be easy. We spent an hour trying to get a hold of someone via phone call due to mobile check in not working correctly. We never did get a hold of anyone and luckily just tried the mobile pickup over and over again. We even got to the location early and we're now an hour past when pickup was. When we opened the back of the truck, the blankets were just thrown in and everywhere. And yet, we would get charged if we did that. The back was also not swept prior to us picking it up. Drop off was easy at least.
Brandon RThe drop off location had the open sign on and even lights and a TV inside, but the front door was closed and locked at 6pm. I dropped off the trailer in the back lot next to the other ones. I did call and let them Know where I dropped the trailer. When I told them about all the issues I had, they directed me to the website.
