Great customer service, very helpful employee (I can't remember his name at the moment). :-)
Willow FWe only received 6 furniture pads but we were charged for 12 pads. PLEASE REFUND.
Jessica MThe rates per mile were a bit of a sticker shock. I guess that's hidden pretty well in the fine print past the initial rate costs. It would have been better to seen that up front and estimated in the total. Maybe add a little tool on the reservation website where users can put in estimated miles and calculate the overall costs.

Tim KOnly improvement: If U-Haul would let the Location post their actual vehicles available! They had a van at this location, which I confirmed when I called and spoke with a person after making a reservation, but the U-Haul Reservation Website listed no van available. Merci

Jin LThe gas tank was empty due to someone siphoning gas from the first van. When I tried to fill it up, the car continued to read as empty. I went back and swapped it for another van which also had no gas in it. The employee there was very nice and did everything he possibly could for us, but the experience still sucked and led to me having to fill up gas 3 separate times.

David STruck that I had reserved was not available, so I had to rent a smaller van. Apparently they let someone else extend their rental even though I had reserved it; Customers don't like surprises like this.
DANIEL TI originally booked a U-Box to be delivered to my house. The Tukwila facility cancelled my box delivery with less than 24 hours notice and arranged this van reservation in West Seattle so I could load on site. It is completely unacceptable for U-Haul to cancel reservations last minute like this. It's particularly egregious because I called to confirm my box reservation the morning before and was told everything was ready to go, only to have that proven false later the same day.
Matthew DI didn't appreciate being charged for an extra day of rental for the dolly because the four hour wait for maintenance to repair the truck caused me to run past the 6:30 return time.
David MTrevor was AWESOME! VERY PROFESSIONAL & THOROUGH! I will definitely rent from this location agai n. The box truck I rented is the cleanest & newest one I ever rented & bonus the A/C worked great!!!

Ian CI reserved a 10ft on purpose because I knew anything bigger wouldn't fit where I needed to go. The 10ft trailer wasn't available because the gas was on empty. I was forced to take a 15ft trailer which made moving significantly more difficult. Also the passenger side mirror was broken so at certain times I couldn't use it to merge into other lanes. When I brought this all up after dropping off the uhaul early because it wasn't going to work for my needs I was given little to no discount or recourse to recoup losses. Not a great experience overall.
conner kChristine and Crystal made the moving easy for us. It was the staff at the West Coast Storage on Harbor Avenue, West Seattle that made the Uhaul experience excellent. The online and central staff were difficult to deal with and we almost went with another company. Had it not been for Christine and Crystal, we would have cancelled our reservation and gone someplace else.

Charles TI was given inaccurate information by a uhaul representative that this facility offers 24/7 pickup. It doesn't. It made picking up our truck super confusing and stressful

TIRHAS GIt was really easy to get in and pick up the truck. The apps made it an easy process. The people behind the desk were helpful and made it easy rent. I do not agree with the 1/4 tank rule. It seem like every time I get a U-Haul, the first thing I need to do is find a gas station. I always get the warning, if you do not return with the same amount of gas it will be $$$. Why not provide a full tank and charge when someone returns at a quarter. I was at another U-Haul facility earlier in the day and heard the attend tell the customer the vehicle only had 1/4 of tank.

Joseph FYou've charged me for two days. When I rented for one. Then you charged me for double insurance. Double furniture dolly. And no one was there when I returned.
JON NKelly is incredible. Answered all our panicked moving questions and helped us find the packing supplies we needed for our dishes and fragile items. Helped make our move a little less stressful.
