We were given the wrong size truck unknowingly and when we returned to pick up the tow dolly that we were told initially was reserved for us was given to someone else. We had to go to another location to pick up the dolly. When returning both the truck and dolly the only return item available was for the truck. Come to find out the tow dolly reservation was cancelled even though we picked it up. Not a great first experience.
BROOKE CIt was unclear how much fuel was required for turn in
SANDRA DDrove the truck in and he asked if the blinkers and brakes worked and said we could go. We didn't get a receipt, but did get the email saying we didn't owe anything.
PATRICK TThere are chips on the windshield with out a x on it .It leaks in side the truck.A lot of my boxes got wet due to the rain and reuned.

Destiny BThe first location that U-Haul assigned for us to pick up 5250 McCormick road Amarillo Texas did not have a truck when we got there. I called U-Haul I got transferred to a second operator before I could schedule another pickup. I got to the second location and they did not know that I was even coming and did not have the truck size the 20 foot truck that I had originally ordered. U-Haul told me they would upgrade me to 26 ft truck had no additional charge but yet when I checked it in I see a discharged for a 26 ft truck so I'm not happy about that. The back of the truck still had a lot of trash from the previous user and the tank was only half full. The gentleman that was at the second location was very helpful though in getting things done quickly to get the truck.
Russ MThe truck had a clunking in the transmission im not sure was safe also when we picked up the truck they said it had 1/4 tank of fuel but it was parked on a hill. Not aure if thats on purpose but it really had an 1/8th. Shiesty.
JEANNE BNo one at locatopn site, no body to talk to, remote location no ways to contact any personal. Main office run into not friendly personal rude people answering phone calls no one wants to help, recing or drop off person trying to blame me for a previous damage the unit had, the only reason why i can use uhaul in the future is cause no other providers are available

WILLIAM HThis location was locked, The telephone number on my contract wasn't good. I drove to another location to see if they could help however without the agent offering any bit of assistance he said I was gonna be charged. So I drove by to my original drop off location. I believe uhaul locations no longer functioning should not appear as a drop off or pickup location. All of this dilemma lasted over 2 hours. I almost missed my flight as a result of this. This is my 1st time using uhaul however I feel so disappointed by the services I received at both locations. Uhaul is better than this.
Olusegun AWhen dropping the equipment off I had to park outside the place because it was gated in. Once I walked in the large area all office doors was locked, so I had to walk the grounds to the very back of this place and I was meet by a mechanic on duty. This was to much of a hassle to drop off. So overall my pickup was disappointing and my drop off was a good location but hard to get in, not inviting.

Tina VI dropped off about 3 with Rolando who informed me that the office manager Miguel nor Elias was available. He asked me for my email address so that I could get a receipt for my drop off. My 26ft UHaul was clean, had more gas than it had when it was given to me and I was told to leave and someone would email me. I've never rented a UHaul before. The next thing you know the drop off location has charged me an extra $70 for "sweeping" the back of truck and over mileage and gas. I took pics there was no dirt or mud. These are crooks, I would never again in my life use or recommend this drop off location. I am going to report them as well as call corporate who does business with this location. You will never receive great ratings from this location. They are committing fraudulent charges on individuals credit cards.
BABY Wthe man waiting on me could hardly speak or understand English. The place was a mess. I told him when I would have to return the trailer and then when I turned it in they charged me for an extra day. I will instruct my credit card company not to pay it
tom pThe service fellow was very nice and helpful. The office was clean. The location was in a very "scary" part of town, making this part of town NOT "inviting". My companion is familiar with the reputation of this area of town and asked me to remain in my vehicle for my personal safety.
Ann EOverall the experience with uhaul has ranged from irritating to infuriating. The pickup location was decent and the guy working there was as helpful as he could be before uhaul stepped in and stopped letting him.

Fred HWas double charged for he trailer so I was not able to move my belongings, they finally refunded me 2 weeks later, then I get charged and billed for $1 050!!!! Not to mention terrible customer service and lack of communication with the lot where I rented from.
Ashley SHad to hunt to find someone to help. Then his computer wouldnt work. I had called the day before to make sure the ball on the hitch would work and the told me yes, then get there and it wouldnt, had to buy a new ball, when i had one at home. I called the place on canyon eway for that info. We will def go with penski or another company next move. Got here to drop off trailer, no one was there, we got there in the open time posted on the web. It was total confusion, had to drive all over town to return it.
Glen TI know that UHaul containers are water resistant and not waterproof, but our moving trailer had a notable leak that let water onto our things. The trailer was pretty good, worked well, and held what we needed it to. On the way back to Amarillo to drop off the trailer, our contact did not answer his phone like he had said he would and we ended up just leaving it on the property, since we couldn't stick around or go back out the following morning. We are lucky no one decided to steal the trailer. So, just availability during agreed times would be good. Our experience overall was positive.
Lauren SI rented an 8' covered trailer. The tires were pretty worn and bald. I had no problems, but was concerned about getting a flat or blow out on the road.
Jim FI rented the 6'x12' trailer on Friday and told them I would not have the trailer back until 4:00 pm Saturday. The man that helped me said that since they close at 2:00 on Saturday that I could bring it back on Monday morning and not be charged a late fee. I got the trailer back on Monday morning before they opened. I waited until someone got there. Waited on him to unlock his gate and put their dogs up. Then he helped me. We went in to sign the paper work so i could go and noticed he charged me a $70 late fee. When I asked him about it he said that I could have dropped the trailer off outside his fence. This place is not in a very nice part of town - I would never leave a nice trailer outside his fence. He has a 7' chainlink fence with 2 dogs guarding his place. It never occured to me to just leave it. And it was never told to me by the first individual that that was even an option. I will never rent from these people again.
scott gThis guy is shady, told me to drop the truck off and send a pic to his cell phone of the gas level. We filled it up above 1/2 just like it was when we got it. We have pics of when we picked and dropped off. Spoke to him 4 times on his cell and now he says the number doesn't exists. He charged $23 more for gas when it didn't need it. And when he said that 8065531318 isn't his number I called it back and he answered, then hung up and blocked me. Something's up with this guy and it's not good.
Cynthia MCustomer really needs to increase the days allowed for useage with out charging extra.
